Title: A class away from the classroom.

Master Ace - February 18, 2005 05:24 PM (GMT)
Master Ace leaned with his back against a tree. Today would be a day where the class would be working outside, that was of course if there was to be any students to attend the class in the first place. Master Ace was still unsure of what he would be teaching but he had a good idea and that could be molded around the students that showed up. Ace's emerald eyes scanned the area, but still saw no students at all. Ace fiddled with a small blue flower in his hands, twiriling it about and occasionaly fingering the petals as he waited for some one to show up for class.

Zin - February 19, 2005 12:01 PM (GMT)
A rather large horse skittered to a stop, a rough lead made of rope tied around it's neck hanging loosely down, and it snorted, it's eyes rolling back as it stared at him, breathing ice as it watched him.

It began to trot away, and as it did so Zin came careening down the slope, tumbling head over heels to land-incredibly enough-very nearly on her feet. She scowled, standing and darting forward to catch the lead, glowering at the horse.

"Hello Ace! I heard you were teaching a lesson today...Right?" She grinned, her pointed ears twitching up slightly and her antennae twitching forward, falling slightly into her eyes.

Master Ace - February 25, 2005 10:14 PM (GMT)
Master Ace stoped twirling his flower and looked up. He had half sexpected for her to show up. Now that Zorgn was gone again she held the best record for attendance. Ace could not deny the fact that Zin seemed to have an extrodinary mount. While it didn't seem to have much care for Zin, Ace was sure this was no common breed of horse. Ace's attention quickly turned to the tumbling Zin. He was glad to see that she was okay.

Ace stood up straight and shook his scaled wings. "Yes Zin, I am teaching a lesson. I just hope you aren't the only student for today," Ace smiled.

Azerous - March 1, 2005 12:55 AM (GMT)
A dark figure appeared in the sky...Its massive wings blocked out the sun, casting a shadow of a giant dragon over the people below. Azerous circled a few times in the sky then began to make his descent to the ground...Azerous landed gracefully...He started to mumble a few words then began to transform back into his true self...Looking toward Ace he began to speak...Are you Master Ace? I heard he was teaching a lesson around here, and thought it wouldn't hurt to come!

Zin - March 6, 2005 09:03 AM (GMT)
Zin had been about to reply when the dragon landed, and she turned to stare at him blankly for several moments, then shrugged as it turned out to be someone who was NOT, in fact, Draconic in origin. "I guess I won't be then..." She grinned, and absentmindedly ran one hand through the mane of the animal as the other deftly tied the rope to one of the myriad belts that wrapped around her waist.

She turned, smiling to Azerous. "Hello there!"

Azerous - March 7, 2005 03:27 AM (GMT)
Azerous turned towards the grinning woman...Hello, he said bowing. Then he turned back towards Ace...So, is this all tha is going to show? I figured alot more people would show up...But if this is all...I'm ready when your are teach! Azerous said playfuly...Then walking over to a tree, he leaned against it, and sat down...

Master Ace - March 7, 2005 03:48 AM (GMT)
Ace's turned upward as he heard the flapping of great wings growing nearer. It was not a normal sight seeing a dragon fly over the academy. Ace's casted a spell and confirmed his suspicions that the dragon was made or altered by magic. Perhaps it was zorgn wishing to show off a new spell he had learn. Ace smiled with the thought that he could have the creature plumeting to the ground with a single spell. That would certainly show the vampire. Ace was surprised and almost dissapionted to see the dragon change into the form of a drow rather than the form of a decaying vampire. He of course had been wrong to asssume it was Zorgn.

Ace's mind quickly turned to the matter at hand. His reputation had proceeded him and brought a possible new student. "Yes I am Master Ace and I am teaching a lesson today. May I know the name of my student?" Ace replied.

Azerous - March 8, 2005 01:22 AM (GMT)
Azerous looked towards Ace...I'm Azerous, he said. Might I ask when the lesson is going to begin? Azerous put his hands up behind his head and shut his eyes. He sat there relaxing for a few minutes, then decided to speak again...So, what's the lesson plan today, Ace?

Zin - March 13, 2005 08:44 AM (GMT)
Zin grinned faintly, fingers hooked onto her belt, and rocked gently on her heels, eyes half-closed as she waited for Ace to answer Azerous. She was eager to find out what they would learn as well, but didn't mind waiting a little while just in case anyone else showed up for the class.

She paused, looking at the horse for a moment, then patted the creature on the nose and pulled off the lead. "Don't wander too far now..." She watched it wander off just out of sight, and sighed, realizing it didn't care what she thought, just that she left it alone.

Thomas - March 18, 2005 03:49 PM (GMT)
He could feel the presence of magic around him in so many places here, the 'Detect Magic' spell going mad with sensors of various magical essences in this one place. "Well this is the Academy of Magic, if I was told right..." Thomas thought to himself as he wandered deeper into the building of magical wizardry, the feeling of the surrounding energy renewing his confidence in his abilities somewhat as he looked across from this one archway, spying three people around another, more potent mage.

'Yes I am Master Ace and I am teaching a lesson today. May I know the name of my student?' Thomas could hear from the distance. -A training academy...and this mage is the master of this place.- Thomas smiled at the sight of this, finally pleased that he may have a chance... -Perhaps he can help me regain my arcane abilities once more...-

Without any hesitation to stop, Thomas rushed across and quickly came to the group, slight panting and heaving as he gathered his breath. "I apologize for the intrusion but I am Thomas and I seek to learn if possible the way of magic once more." He eventually gathered his breath and, leaning on his staff for asistance, he continued. "I know some magic but its usefulness is currently limited. May I join the session?"

Master Ace - March 18, 2005 04:46 PM (GMT)
"This two more students than I expected to find today so we can start now unless either of you has a freind who is supposed to be joining us shor...," Ace's voice trailed off when his eyes caught sight of a young mage hustling towards him. Another new face. Ace hoped he would be seeing these news faces more often though, but Ace knew he would never have that many people who regularly attended his classes.

Ace's surprised look faded as Thomas came up and spoke to him. The young man looked no older than 19, yet he claimed he needed help learning magic again. He seemed human, but he had found a way to stop his own aging or perhaps reversed the againg process itself. "It is a pleasure to meet you Thomas. As you may know, I am Master Ace. You are not intruding anything. Anyone may ofcourse join these classes," Ace replied to Thomas.

Ace turned his attention back to Azerous' second question. "I plan to teach a few nature spells, but if anyone has any problems I don't mind teaching something else to satisfy my students," Ace smiled. He had never had a student complain about his lesson plan, but there was always a chance it could happen. Ace waited to see if any of them had any dissagrements with his lesson plan.

Thomas - March 18, 2005 04:54 PM (GMT)
Thomas looked up to Ace. "Ah...spells of Druids and such? I'm fine with that." Thomas explained. "I don't think I know any of those spells yet but perhaps I could learn a few once I see them placed into good use."

-Well he seems kind enough to welcome me into the class.- Thomas remarked to himself as he rose fully to his feet, preparing for whatever the lesson has in store. -Besides, magic related to nature is weak towards fire, so a few fire spells could still stop any assault I suffer.-

How sure was he on this fact? Hard to say, but he knew he wanted to be trained again in the ways of magic. Hopefully this time it won't take so damned long...

((OOC: Damn that was short...sorry guys! >_< )

Kael - April 3, 2005 04:53 PM (GMT)
Kael wandered about the grounds of the Academy, wondering what exactly it was. He knew that it was an academy where they taught magic, that was obvious just by the name. But little else was known to him about.

~Surely this is the place for nobles and professional wizards and mages,~ thought Kael, ~And those who think that magic is a thing reserved for those with money and class, not a lowly wandering shaman...~

But then Kael heard some things he didn't expect to hear from a place not that far off. Things like, 'Anyone may of course join these classes,' and 'teach a few nature spells.' If this school was like what Kael thought it was like, surely he would not hear these things, so he must have been wrong. Besides, for a shaman, he certainly didn't know many nature spells.

As Kael walked towards the sound of the voices, using his staff not because he needed it, but because that was the best way to carry it, he saw several people standing near each other, and among them was a half-dragon, who was apparently the teacher. ~Well,~ thought Kael. ~If a half-dragon can be a teacher, surely I could be a student.~

"May I join your lesson?" inquired Kael. "I'm sorry for eavesdropping, but I had heard you were teaching nature magic?"
