Title: new student
Mithillion - February 12, 2005 05:34 PM (GMT)
As Mithillion arrived at the academy, he hoped that he could start training soon, althought it had been a long journey here, he was very eager to train, because he hoped he would train under Zero someone he heared so much about.
Kuya - February 26, 2005 06:49 PM (GMT)
Kuya sat under a tree, seeing a new student at the academy. He was no longer the teacher at the academy but he believed that he helped many on their path to greater mastery in the art of weapon-fighting. He quietly sharpened an angelic sword, as he wondered who the teacher of this pupil would be. He sheathed the sword and pulled another out, and sharpened, cleaned, and polished it just like the other, patiently waiting.
Zero - February 27, 2005 06:22 PM (GMT)
Zero was standing in a tower at the academy of magic. He had looked down at the training grounds and noticed two, waiting there. It seemed as if one of the two had been Kuya..the other, Zero had never seen. Zero thought it was inappropriate to refer Kuya as a student. After all, Kuya was once a training master and Zero learned most of his skills from Kuya.
Zero flew down into the training grounds and landed softly. He began to make his way toward the two, and he spoke to Kuya first.
Hello Kuya, havent seen you in a long time. Nice to see you though. Zero looked at the other person standing there. He looked like if he wanted to train, or learn....
Zero looked back at Kuya and spoke once more, I dont mean to be rude or anything, but I was wondering what had brought you here. Zero smiled and waited for his answer as he saw him sharpening his blades.
Kuya - February 27, 2005 07:44 PM (GMT)
Kuya nodded and stood. "Its been a lon time since I have seen student and teacher before." Kuya said weirdly. What he meant to say was that in his abscence, not one enemy he faced were apprentices, all were fierce and relentless. "Please forgive me, I must be confusing you. But I would also like to know how much you have improved." Kuya said brandishing a scimitar. Kuya could remember how eager Zero was to train and now that he was a teacher he would be a match for Kuya.
Zero - March 2, 2005 03:13 AM (GMT)
Zero gave a weird look to Kuya. He guessed that Kuya wanted to have a match with him instead of answering his question first, and also he really didnt know wheo he had been confusing him with. But if he was really that eager to have this match then Zero was fine with it. There was no problem at all. Zero guessed that the student waiting on somthing was just going to sit there. Zero said nothing to him, instead, he looked back at Kuya. Well, if your really that interested in knowing how much I have improved, then why not. Zero did feel a little uncomfortable having a match with Kuya. Kuya was a training master once and Zero did visit him often to just train. However, Zero would try and do his best at this one. He really never had a match with Kuya and didnt know how strong he was. He would just do what he had learned.
Kuya - March 2, 2005 09:58 AM (GMT)
There was a twinkle in Kuya's eye. Seeing with the confused look in Zero's face, there seemed to be something unanswered. Kuya guessed it was the question why Kuya would come to the Academy of Arms, when he was known to train on his own. "Sorry, but if it was unclear then I came because I truly wanted to see you alone Zero. You out of all have been unchanged by the test of time. You will make a good leader for I have seen all the others have changed when I am not around. I am talking about the guild of course. But now this is another test. I would like to see if you have the power to protect those unable to fight in my abscence. Now, please draw your sword..." Kuya said smiling.
Zero - March 3, 2005 01:04 AM (GMT)
Zero smiled back. It was ok with him, but just felt a little wierd doing this. Zero sheathed out his Angelic blade, and was ready when Kuya was. The match would have been interesting as well too. Zero would know what he was up against and it would gain him more experience, hopefully. But today he was confident. A little more confident than ordinary. This will be a good experience for me, and same for you....I guess. I would also like to know what I am up against when we have this match. Good luck Kuya! Zero smiled but then just moments later before he had been ready, he remembered that his Angelic blade had been enchanted. Zero would have to be carefull. He didnt want anything bad to happen. But Zero remembered those words Kuya spoke. That would have stayed in Zero's mind, and it was somthing to remember and keep in mind. It was important.
Kuya - March 3, 2005 08:25 PM (GMT)
Kuya slid his hand over his scimitar. He had just remembered that Zero had never actually seen him fight before. Zero was in for a treat. "I warn you, it will be difficult for you to hurt me, even if...enchantments are present within this battle." Kuya said, trying to provoke Zero was his attention not to degrade him. Kuya saw that the angelic sword that Zero had a changed feeling around it. "With that said, come at me..." Kuya said almost relaxing by letting his scimitar down by his knee. He wanted to give a feeling of cokiness to confuse, or his true cause provoke, because he knew that Zero had an idea of what he was up against. "Let us see how much you have changed." Kuya said. This statement came from his heart really to a friend.
Zero - March 3, 2005 10:54 PM (GMT)
Zero walked forth and he heard Kuya's words. Zero wondered if this was just all a bluff, that he came up with. But then again, he knew that Kuya was a skilled warrior, and he could tell that he had been doing this for quite some time now.
When Zero walked forth, he kept his guard and was more alert. He knew Kuya's was already up to somthing. Zero saw Kuya's movements and saw the scimitar he had in his hand swing down to his knee level.
Zero wondered if it would have surprised Kuya if he spoke to him telepathicly. And he did! I am ready when you are! Zero didnt know if he was going to make the first move or if Kuya was waiting on him to make it. Either way, if they were just going to sit around and talk, might as well move on with it and get this match over with. But then somthing snapped in Zero's head. He wondered if the use of magic was prohibited. Wait! Hold on! I have one more thing to ask before we get this over with. Are we prohibited to use magic. Or must we use weaponry only? Zero was very sorry for the interuption but he had to know this, just incase he accidentaly used any magic
Kuya - March 4, 2005 10:16 AM (GMT)
Kuya watched Zero's movements, circling around keep his blade high for an easy guard. That is basics....good at least I know he has learned enough... Kuya said truly happy for Zero. Kuya was about to spring forth, but caught himself and did not make a singel move when Zero asked a question.
"Magic is allowed, but I will try not to use any magic myself. You may so if you wish though." Kuya said not moving from his stance. Only his eyes followed Zero nothing else.
With that said, Kuya hoped that the battlefield was free of any more delays. He had another scimitar hidden behind his large wing span, and the only way to see it was if the opponent got behind him. But this was a rule that Kuya followed; Never let the opponent behind...only after you have made the finishing blow...
Zero - March 5, 2005 03:03 AM (GMT)
Zero heard that Kuya was not going to use magic himself, or so he was going to try not to use it. If Kuya was not going to use magic, then Zero would have been fair as well. He too would not use magic. He would only use magic if he saw that Kuya used it as well. But for now he followed the rule that no magic should be allowed. It would have been a little unfair, depending on how this match went. Zero would try his hardest to even up with Kuya in this match. He knew he was way more experienced that he was. Ok this time I will not interupt this match again. We may proceed. Zero then kept his gaurd once more and was more alert this time. He readied himself, and watched carefuly for anything that came to him in a rapid succession. This would have been very interesting. He waited for Kuya to start off.
Kuya - March 5, 2005 12:24 PM (GMT)
Kuya smirked, he knew he was at home in many places, but in a battle was where one of his most fondest homes lie. This is going to be fun... Kuya made sure that the unseen scimitar was behind his wings, and he started to sprint using his great agility having his wings follow him, around Zero. All the time keeping eye contact with his opponent.
After about four laps Kuya made a sudden stop, sprinted towards Zero and once close enough, jumped into the air, and jump slashed Zero his the scimitar in his hand, and Kuya landed, he unsheathed the other scimitar from behind him using lightning reflexes and took a swing to Zero's right side, in sucession after the downward blow, both swings used celave
Zero - March 6, 2005 12:19 AM (GMT)
Zero saw Kuya race around him multiple times. He saw Kuya come down at him when he saw a scimitar come down at him at the same time. Zero got his Angelic blade ready to block this one. The two swords met each other and they hit hard against each other as well. Zero thought that this was all he did just now. But he never expected to see Kuya with another scimitar on his other hand. Of course, Zero was to late to block that one as well. While the first attack was being blocked, Zero backed up a little, but it wasnt enough to dodge Kuya's attack. The scimitar that came to his right sliced his chest. But it wasnt a deep cut. The blood slowly came dripping down his chest. This wound had stung a little but Zero was not just going to give up just over that. Concentrate.... Zero suddenly just forgot that the cut was still there. But Zero went on. He ran up to Kuya and jumped up into the air with his blade coming down at Kuya. But Zero used his wings to keep him up in the air to try and confuse him. He stood up in the air for a few seconds and the droped. He made sure that this attack got Kuya as well.
[If you have no clue to what I just said then please say so...I want to make it to where you can understand what I say. But I think it is understandable. :) ]
Kuya - March 6, 2005 02:09 AM (GMT)
(OOC: You hover and then dive at me and slash. I think... )
Zero blocked Kuya's first attack, that was execpted. He knew he had a little trouble keeping the blade away, but it was sort of a dirty trick to pull out another scimitar. But he saw that Zero was not going to stop just yet, who would? After a minor blow? Kuya watched as Zero leapt into the air, guessing that Zero would do one of two things. He would stay in the air and attack Kuya when he got close enough, or jump slash him. Kuya decided not to guess which Zero would do, but put his scimitars into a cross shape to guard from the attack. But when Zero hesitated, Kuya found that he had placed his block to early, which left him open at a side, but which side would Zero go for?
Zero - March 6, 2005 02:32 AM (GMT)
(OOC: Yea..thats right! I hovered then I dove down and slashed at you. Sorry but Im a little sketchy at this. lol  I will try to get a little more specific. :) )
Zero saw that when he was diving down at him that Kuya had placed his block too early, so therefore Zero still had a shot. When Zero came down at him he swurved his arm down to attack Kuya at his right. If this didnt work then Zero would have to come up with something else quickly. He kind of guessed what Kuya would do next but he saved the thought for when the time came. This blow to the right of Kuya would have been accurate but this would have had to wait to see how things went. Hopefuly this works!
(OOC: Hopefuly this was not as sketchy as the last :) )
Kuya - March 6, 2005 02:38 AM (GMT)
Just before Kuya's eyes flashed at noticing that he had to choose quickly. His left sscimitar formed the vertical of the cross guard which was on top. He decided to leave that one up to guard if Zero slashed downward. He let his right scimitar drop just in time to block Zero's attack. That was luck that i blocked that...too close...I can't make anything that close again.... Kuya promised to himself, and cross-slashed. He noticed that he was smiling as he attacked, not a eager smile hoping that the attack would connect but a smile that remsembled that of a child playing with a new toy.
Zero - March 7, 2005 08:25 AM (GMT)
Zero's attack didnt succeed. It was blocked once more. Kuya was too good for that kind of attack, Zero needed a better strategy if so. Well, he was too good for that one. Since Kuya had brought two swords to this match Zero thought that it was only fair to himself that he use two weapons as well. When Zero's eyes caught Kuya coming at him with an attack, Zero rushed himself, charging at Kuya. When he was getting closer he sheathed out his own scimitar. As it was being sheathed out, the scimitar of his flipped into position and was ready to make a quick attack.
Eventually the two men would end up slicing each other. If not then this was just another block, preventing damage from one to another.
Kuya - March 7, 2005 10:25 AM (GMT)
Kuya noticed that Zero had pulled out another weapon, and they were in a dead block as Kuya liked to call it. There swords in locked together, and if one did not break free fast enough it would be the end of them. Kuya waited for a few seconds before leaping out of arms way, and just a few feet away from Zero, Kuya started a blade's dance, where he spinned almost vertically, keeping his swords at an angle with his wrists, and the swords one by one every time Kuya spun would make contact with Zero.
Zero - March 7, 2005 06:32 PM (GMT)
The attack had missed when Zero charged at Kuya like that. Zero saw Kuya leap up and spin vertically. Zero was still heading forth because he charged so fast that he was not able to stop in that instant. Quickly Zero looked behind him and saw swords coming at him, so he turned around. Zero leapt a few steps back and flew into the air. This might have lead this battle airborne if Kuya decided to follow Zero and fight him up there. The match would not have ended soon, Zero knew there was still more and that none of them would have given up so easily. Zero's scimitar burst into flames and remained that way. He didnt intend for his scimitar to be that way but for some reason it just did.
Zero noticed Kuya still below him, it might have worked but he decided to attack coming from above. Zero flew down at a fast speed and had his fire scimitar in the way to make a direct hit towards Kuya. But Zero had his other blade at his left. So if he did this correctly the other blade would have gotten Kuya at his waist, while the scimitar came down towards him.
Kuya - March 7, 2005 09:32 PM (GMT)
Kuya stopped the sword dance. And watched as Zero leapt into the air for another areial dive. That attack will not work my friend.... Kuya said to himself. He knew at those speeds Zero would not be able to change his direction quick enough, so Kuya merely side-stepped the attack and watched the second sword Zero had, for it might swing at him seeing that the other sword had missed. "It is hard to change direction, is it not?" Kuya told Zero and flew into the air waiting for Zero to take the battle into the air.
Zero - March 8, 2005 02:11 AM (GMT)
Kuya was right. What had Zero been thinking. Even he knew it himself that he could not change his directions so easily. He needed to get back on track and stop making these mistakes that could have caused him alot to loose.
Zero landed roughly on the ground as his feet slid the earth. He heard Kuya speak to him about the change of direction. Zero regret what he had just done, and hopefully not make that same mistake again. Its is. Im sorry. Even I knew it myself. But I cannot afford to make these same mistakes, so little that it could cause me to loose alot. The two blades that Zero had in his hand were now held tighter and Zero had followed Kuya airborne. His scimitar still raged in the blazing fire and his Angelic blade held straight down. While Zero was flying upwards he prepared an attack on Kuya once more. This time Zero would try and get behind him.But he still couldnt figure out his weak spot. Zero flew up and swirled around Kuya's body, making his way behind him. When Zero made it he unleashed his attack, both blades diagnally slashed and this time it could have been a little more successful but he knew that Kuya would have come up with somthing quick to avoid the attack made on him. Zero was only hoping this would have been a success.
Kuya - March 8, 2005 10:58 AM (GMT)
Kuya sifted his eyes and felt for another pattern as Zero moved behind him, his body did not follow only his eyes did. Zero's attack was blocked but not easily. Kuya had straightened his arms so that the swords stuck out vertically behind him, the attack was blocked but Kuya's own swords had pierced the skin of his back, in that position Kuya could not find the strength to totally and completely direct Zero's attack, but it was only a minor scar, the blood merely seeping through but there, Kuya leapt up into the air as quickly as he could, held his position upside down, with one scimitar as close as he could put to Zero's face horizontally. That would have been the killing move, but there were no killing intentions within Kuya that battle.
(OOC: Tell me if thats confusing lol)
Zero - March 9, 2005 05:52 PM (GMT)
(I get what your saying. I think   )
Zero's eyes widened as he saw the scimitar straight in his face. He couldnt believe he didnt see that coming. It was close and would have killed Zero. But was Kuya trying to kill him off? Zero didnt really know what ran through Kuya's mind. But the end of his life would have came if the scimitar made contact with him.Are you trying to kill me?!? Zero said loudly. Zero moved on and tried to forget that ever happened. Really, he didnt know when this match would end but he kept going untill the point he could no longer fight. Zero noticed a slit on Kuya and knew that his block caused him to bleed. But he waited there untill Kuya came at him with another attack.
Kuya - March 9, 2005 11:34 PM (GMT)
Kuya smiled, he did not know what to say. "Of course I did not try and kill you..." Kuya siad. What he really wanted to say was; Why can you not see that that would have been the finishing blow?... to Zero. But he admired Zero's will. Kuya nodded. "I am going to bring my celestial into this fight....you may do so as well..." Kuya said knowing that it would give him an advantage for that was when Zero and him first met, at the Celestial Bonding Aria, and Kuya knew that Zero knew how much...strength...Judgement and Kuya had once fighting together.
Kuya at once started to glow...then burst into a light blue light, and when the light faded, an outline of the shadow of the great celestial warrior Judgement surrounded Kuya. They spoke as one, low commanding voice; "Do you really wish to continue? If you do then show me how much you have bonded with your celestial, or fight me as you are now....but that will be no fun..." the last part was coming from Kuya. His eyes were a total white, bright and locking on to the movements of Zero.
But Kuya and Judgement felt something strange. They could not feel the celestial spirit within Zero anymore. "What has happened to your celestial spirit Zero. You were so excited when you found that you were bonded with one, but now I feel that it has left you. But let us talk about that later, after this battle. Let us continue..."They both said in unison as usual.
((OOC: THis is gonna be teh sweetness! ))
Zero - March 12, 2005 12:53 PM (GMT)
Lots of things began to occur just then. Somthing had been happening to Kuya. Someone else was speaking with him at once. Zero guessed it was his celestial spirit or somthing. But what Zero really didnt know was if the match was going to to be uneven. Was Kuya still entering his celestial in this?
Zero would only know once they fought again.
It was until then Kuya realized that Zero no longer had his celestial with him.
He was very sorry for that matter and hoped that he didnt disappoint Kuya.
Im sorry Kuya...Im sorry for any disappointments. We shall continue our battle. So lets begin. Sorry about all this.
Zero didnt know if having two blades out at once was still a good idea. He didnt really care though. He was ready anyway.
He decided to begin this by starting off by a strike.
Zero flew towards him and hoped his swords made contact at his waist, as he flew past him.
Sorry it took a long time.
I get really busy. Im SUPER sorry! :D
Kuya - March 12, 2005 11:46 PM (GMT)
(OCC: Np, lol it too like 3 days haha)
The infused being pushed aside the attack for it was the strength of two beings at once, with a hold out of their scimitar. "Yes, there are dissapointments. Once you have bonded with a celestial, it becomes a part of you." This was Judgement speaking. "Since I have released my celestial you may choose to use magic if you wish. This is to make the playing field a little more even." Kuya said with a smirk, but it was still the same deep voice both times.
Zero - March 16, 2005 01:20 PM (GMT)
Zero was at least glad he could use magic now. He was dying to use fire once again. During their fight, before it had been interupted by the celestial and Zero not having one anymore, he had almost let somthing go on accident.
Zero sheathed in his scimitar this time and fought with only his Angelic blade.
A ball of fire hovered his hand and stood there. It went out once this match proceeded again. He didnt know what to wait for anymore. If it was Kuya going to attack first then he would let him. But Zero, well, he already made the first attack several times already and nothing really got to Kuya. Ok. I will also use magic to even this match up. Ready when you are! Zero got himself ready and decided that he would let Kuya go first.
He waited there for somthing to happen next.
(((Im soooooo so so so super sorry for how long I have been gone. Lots of stuff came up and I didnt like it at all, but hey, I had to do it. But Im back to posting this. Im so really sorry I was gone this long and not posted here. :( )))
Kuya - March 20, 2005 12:56 PM (GMT)
"I am sorry Zero, but I am going to have to finish this match now." This reply coming from Judgement. The infused celestial threw down his scimitars to the ground, landing vertically a third of the blade stuck in the dirt firmly. They drew their twin angelic swords, they gleamed ever so strongly. They dashed towards Zero there was no expression in Kuya's face when the charge was being executed. There was a cross slash, but all you could see was a faint white line slashing down and and another slash from the side almost right afterwards. It would be difficult to block with one sword... Kuya thought.
((No problem, I was wondering if you could make images transparent...sorta like image wrapping cuz I need an image transparented. Thanks  )
