Zandalor was sitting on the soft sand, the sun was shining down on him from the North. He was staring out to the sea, as if he was waiting for someone. The soft sand lay beneath him, making him comfortable..

A large shadow over passed the man sitting on the beach. Disturbance in the air could be heard as the large phoenix flew above him. Jasmine was on top of the fiery bird, commanding it to fly lower to the ground. The bird landed just fifty feet from the young man with a slight thud to the ground. Jasmine jumped off and started to walk to the sranger. She smiled and said,

"Hello there. How are you this day."

Zandalor jumped to his feet at seeing the shadow on the ground around him. "What the...?" He looked up and saw a large Pohenix land on the beach, and a woman jumped off it. She greeted him. "Uh, yeah...I'm fine." Zandalor thought it wierd at this woman should be acting as though she hadn't been on top of a Phoenix.

"Do you find it wierd that I ride a phoenix? I am used to it. The flames do not burn if she does not mind you on her back. Her name is Calphurnia."

Jasmine smiled and looked out to the see. She smelled the air and happily sighed. The day was beautiful and she was enjoying it very much. Jasmine sat down next to the stranger and introduced herself. She extended her hand for a warm, greeting hand shake.

Zandalor looked at the woman and then back at the Phoenix. "Oh...ok. Just strange seeing a Phoenix, that's all.." He sat beside the woman, and shook her extended hand. "Hello."
