Sleeping in a moss covered tree lay little Kilari, she had been wandering about from town to town latley and finally she had found a place she loved. It was a forest of the sorts and she found herself VERY use to it in the few hours she had been there. She liked bouncing around chasing random creatures and sniffing at plant life that tended to move. But finally towards the end of the day she grew tired. Now usually she would have been awake at night. But every once in a while Kilari slept through the night and the next day.
She was and odd little creatures some might say. But she preferred it that way.
She had climbed a tree
With the count of three
And had landed there with ease.
She purred lightly and looked over the moss covered branches and finally, after many turn arounds, she lay down letting one arm lay across the branch while the other drapped down towards the ground and the opposite leg of the arm that was on the branch also lay on the branch in a stablaizing manner while her other leg dangled off the brang. She lay her head on the branch and let her eyes slide closed and a loud thrumming purr emitted from her whilst her blonde and strawberry rust color tail flicked to and fro. But sleep didnt come to her for some reason and she felt rather tired yet no sleep came. So she lay there pondering her eyes slide shut.
She had no idea what time it was. Gloomwood was always dark, just like Balefire, the city it surrounded. Rianna didn't care, though. She slept when she was tired and she moved when she wasn't. It was just that simple. She was moving, now, her eyes, long adjusted to the complete blackness of the plane-created Gloomwood. Her tail was loose, boots hanging down her back. Her hair was free, floating line a dark mane around her face. She stopped for a moment and cleaned herself, nostrils flaring as she sniffed the air. Lian, lian, lian, and still more lian. A faint odor of another feline came floating toward her, and she smiled slightly, leaping forward, starting a robust scamper through the forest toward the scent of umbra. She always enjoyed being around them, and they seemed to enjoy her, as well, though she'd still not tamed one. She had hoped, actually, that one would instead choose to join her.
Another pause as she hummed softly, more sniffing of the air. Her eyes peered through the darkness, searching, but still she found nothing. She knew she smelled a feline... but where was it? Sighing, she flopped to the ground, knees spread out on either side, tail swishing from side to side behind her. Her ears flicked back slightly, their points twitching as she considered what was wrong. Perhaps the feline was in the trees? But that wasn't fair. She liked being on the ground. Leaping from tree to tree was fine and all, but prey was on the ground! She yowled softly, an entirely human pout on her lips as she looked around, straining her ears and nose for any sign of another cat.
Kilari heard a faint sound, but her mind so slowly reacted with only the slightest flick of an ear. She shruged her shoulders barley and her tail which seemed dead began to slide off the tree. Sliding down then swinging twice past Rianna's head, then once infront of her. Then finally the fourth pass bampfed her in the head.(bampted = soft fluffy hit) Then Kilari felt herself slipping from the tree. Her eyes slowly opened and then suddenly she felt something touching her tail. THEN slip BAM right on top of Rianna she fell. Dust flew up from the ground and a crunching sound was heard as the two collided. Kilari's tail was the size of a bush now. She blinked fully awake and nails dug into random surfaces.
Rianna let out a loud yowl of pain as she felt a set of claws dig into her shoulder. She hissed and leapt up, shoving the creature off of her. She jumped away, landing a full yard from the creature, her eyes wide, pupils expanded all the way to the edges of her irises. Her breath came in quick, ragged gasps, which she forced to slow down. Slowly, oh so slowly, she crept forward again, curious, one hand reaching out to touch the thing that had landed on her. A very strong scent of umbra came from the creature, but she knew it was not one of those creatures. What, then, was it? It smelled of feline beneath the umbra scent, as well, so it must be a feline of some sort... right?

Kilari grumbled lightly as she was shoved to the side. Her eyes opening their gray iris with crimson flecks glanced around then felt someone...Poke her. Her banana blonde and rust set ringed tail suddenly fluffed larger then a small tree trunk. She was up and half way up the tree when she realized... what had touched her. She stoped in mid jump up the tree clinging to the bark of the trunk she blinked looking back at Rianna looking like a young kitten neko... with large eyes large ears paws and long tail. She blinked at the other...female feline and blinking wondering who she was. She also noticed her colors and felt a pange of want. She had never liked being pink and blonde...rust set and blonde ... she wanted to be red and dark yellow ...anything besides seeming like a kitten all 300 some years of her life. She blinked staring speachless for many many moments.
