Pheonix - January 25, 2005 11:11 PM (GMT)
It wasn't hard for Pheonix to travel from island to island, the angel part of her having graced her with wings and all. Though it was a bit of trouble for her companion. The red wolf, named Genesis, had to be carried. Luckily though, the canine wasn't very big, he's still young. Pheonix was here because, hunting had not bee ngoing too well. And besides, she needed a change of pace. Cities, deserts, and forests can only get so boring before she wanted to go out and see other things.

Pheonix had just touch earth again, as the wolf was released fro mher arms and stood shaking himself. "Sorreh, Gen. I know you dun like flying." The wolf gave Pheonix a look that could only mean -whatever-. Pheonix's attentions were soon diverted, at the sound of hooves along sand. Pheonix perked her ears, and ran off, following the sound. It was there, at the beach, that Pheonix saw them. A trio of horses running across the beach, they weren't fleeing or chasing anything they were just .. running. Seeing them reminded Pheonix of a song she'd heard one.

"Hush, baby. don't you cry. When you wake you shall have, all the pretty little horses. Blacks, and bays, dapples, and grays. All the pretty little horses."

She sung softly to herself. Where had she heard that song before? ... Pheonix couldn't remember. Pheonix twitched an ear, and shook her head. There was much abut Pheonix's past she couldn't remember clearly. And for the longest time she did not even know what she was. But now, she knew, and she didn't feel any different than she had before.

Her thoughts were interuppted again as something tugged at the hem of her jacket. Pheonix looked down, as her wolf companion pulled harder. "Wassit?" Pheonix flicked her ears back and forth. She'd been so distracted by thoughs that she hadn't noticed something else was on this shore as well. She didn't know what or who it was yet, but she wasn't worried. Pheonix never worried about anything.
