Title: Looking
Description: Open to all

Jasmine of Laurudy - January 20, 2005 09:38 PM (GMT)
Jasmine wandered through the ancient city with a calling in her heart. She was thinking to her self if she came here for a reason or just by chance. She walked through the ruins with her eyes open and searching for something she did not want to miss. She looked to her left and could see the cemetery and the church to her right. She walked straight ahead, moving around the fallen marble pillars and the broken walls of what used to be great buildings. This ancient city must have been great and maginificent back in its' day. Jasmine wondered to her self and thought what could happen to bring a great city to great ruins like this. What disaster could cause people not to recover from and flee from their home.

Jasmine came to an opening in the ruins. It appeared that it used to be a park of some sort. She daydreamed of little children playing in these grounds and having the best time of their lives. Jasmine woke her self up from her little dream and focused. She looked around and felt that she needed to be at this very spot. What was going to happen? she thought. Jasmine turned around as she heard a noise and something run to the side in the distance. She gazed to where she saw something and tried to see or hear if there was even anything there at all. She started to walked over there but then she suddenly got the gut feeling that she stay right where she was. She stayed and said,

"Who is that? What are you doing here?"

Serin Tai-lous - January 26, 2005 11:50 PM (GMT)
Serin had been walking through the ruins as well, he had been wlaking over the boulders and leaping from one to the next as he went when suddenly he saw a mark on a pillar that held and ancient tribal mark his family and country used. He sighed felt a pange of guilt and Hate. When all of a sudden a voice called out and he turned realizing her words "Who is that? What are you doing here?" His head titled to the side the horns on his head itched again and he clawed at them with his right hand as he made over to where she stood staring out into the shadows.

His red form stood out against the gray and pewter color of the area around them. "Is something the matter?" He asked softly but said nothing more. His cool collective attitude showed him to be quiet and calm. He waited for her to realize he was there and shuffled his wings on his back feeling slightly uncomfortable as the girl seemed scared...or lost or confused.

Jasmine had her hand on the hilt of the katana that was to her side. She looked into the shadows and noticed figure starting to take a formation in the dark. She got in her defensive position, ready to strike at any moment and defend her self if she needed it. She looked closer and noticed a strange looking creature. She tightened her grip as it came closer to her.

"Stop right there. I am not looking for a fight. Who are you? ... ... ... .. . What are you?"

Jasmine studied the figure and calmed her sefl as the creature seemed calm it self and seemed as though it did not want a fight as well. Jasmine looked at him up and down. She noticed the wings on its back and horns portruding from its head. She stepped back, confused. Never has she seen a creature like this before. Perhaps it was cursed to bear a form such as this or perhaps this was the true formation of the creature. Jasmine did not but her curiosity took over her mind set and she wanted to know.

Varila - January 29, 2005 03:49 PM (GMT)
Varila was leaning against the wall of one of the buildings, which would have been the inside. Her breathing was shallow as she listened to someone's approach. Silence was on her side until she saw the girl who looked to be only a little younger than herself. With a blank look upon her face, she stepped out so that she was visible, and saw two figures in the dark.

For a moment she just stood there, ready to let them recognize her on their own, or to ignore her. Ah, but that would be interesting, if she could get to know a little more about these two. Both had a curious air about them, and the man was visibly different. It will be very interesting indeed to see what these two want here, she pondered to herself. This was a place where she had experienced many different thinks, and here she felt at ease, as if she was in the cemetary again, staring at the weathered headstone.

Jasmine of Laurudy - January 29, 2005 05:17 PM (GMT)
Jasmine was going to walk toward the stranger creature, but then she saw the Goddes of Deception. This may have been good or bad situation. Jasmine never really did speak to the Goddess of deception, so she did not know if she was really kind hearted or just plain evil. Jasmine looked to her and slightly smiled. She looked back at the creature through the corner of her eye. Jasmine stepped back and faced the goddess. She bowed to the ground and introduced herself.

"I am sure you know who I am, as you can most likely read my mind. My name is Jasmine Sparta. What brings you here away from your temple your holiness?"

Jasmine just stood there and waited to see if the goddess would tamper with her and the creature, or if she would be kind and not do anything. Jasmine felt almost lost. She did not know this goddess and her state of being, and she did not know this new creature that came to her. Jasmine could not think of what to do or say.

Varila - January 29, 2005 10:42 PM (GMT)
"Memories," she said with a mysterious smile, and then looked Jasmine over. "I would wonder what brings one such as yourself here. I have been here many times and never seen you." At the term "your holiness" she smirked, having little regard for titles after having to deal with a "Lady Varila" everywhere she went for the first few years that she could remember.

Her eyes turned to the other creature, a strange one indeed. He seemed to be partially dragon, from the wings on his back and the way he carried himself. "And who would you be?" she asked him quietly, her eyes cool and placid. Yes, both of them were different, but there was something there in the ruins themselves. What was it that plagued her?

Jasmine of Laurudy - February 16, 2005 04:28 AM (GMT)
Jasmine looked at Varila and smiled. Her reason for coming to the ruins was unknown. Jasmine looked at Varila with a face without expression. She did not know what to say. All she couls think of was that she came here for some reason that she did not yet know. Jasmine smiled looked at the creature next to her and then back to Varila and said,

"I do not completely know why I have come here. I believe I was called here and I am supposed to find something or some one of importance. Maybe that is you, Varila. Or perhaps it is even this creature here. I felt a calling in my heart and i am here to answer it. I just need to find what I have come here for."
