Lilith stood at the edge of the water watching as the waves crashed against her small and delicate feet. Raising her azure eyes, she gazed at the horizon and the orange sun that lay upon it. The sea seemed to collide with the sky and blur into grayish blue. A smile playfully turned the corner of her lips upward and her eyes twinkled with a fire behind them.
The Shore was her favorite place to be in Imythess, except for the Norwood Forest. She enjoyed the people she met and had even met her love, Astalder, here. Soon the sun was down and stars danced in the heavens. Sighing, Lilith walked to her little campsite not far from the shore.
She laid down and stared happily into the sky. She was happy and felt perfectly safe. Her eyelids began to drift downward and her breathing slowed. She fell asleep listening to the waves collapse against the sand.
It had gotten late once again and Panky had nowhere to go so he continued to wander. He passed through the city and finally got to the docks. He continued until he got to the shore and it's soothing melody. Panky spotted a campsite and decided to head towards it. He saw the small woman on the far side of the fire and whispered. "Hello." He didn't want to wake her so he quietly sat on the other side of the fire from her to warm up and hoped she wouldn't mind.
Lilith shivered herself awake. Opening her eyes, she waited until her eyes adjusted to the dark. The temperature was dropping quickly and goose bumps had spread across her flesh. It was only then that she realized she wasn't alone. Her breath caught in her throat as she tried not to move. The fire had died down so she couldn't get a good view of the stranger.
Rolling far enough upwards, she whispered the words to her lighting spell. An immense white glow escaped from her hands and she hoped it would blind the stranger long enough for her to get a good look. “Okay stay right where you are. I am armed with many spells and weapons. If you try to rob me, I will kill you. If you come in peace, then I apologize." She stared at the large man-beast and gasped. She had never seen something of the sort. She wasn't even sure he would understand her language.
Panky roared and fell back when the flash of light occured. He hit the ground with a thud and clutched his eyes in pain. He then yelled as he rolled in the sand. "I mean no harm! I was merely trying to stay warm. I am sorry if a startled you." Panky was trying to sit up and gain his composure as he continued to rub his eyes.
