Lotus, Adrirell more of, walked through the city streets of Taras feeling lost and confused as always. But tonight she felt more so then ever; she had been having these horrible dreams lately. And usually she would dismiss these dreams as just random images during deep sleep. But these…these were truly horrifying her. And yet when she woke she wouldn’t remember them at all. Only random words or these eye…Icy and cold… like her own White gazing orbs of soulless appearance. She shivered yet again recalling what her dreams had brought from her past, this word…Ranaleith. What was this words meaning…Why did it haunt her so. She also remembered a strange flash and two furred creatures leaping past her. Then everything would go silent again. All was dark again in her memories and she sighed might as well stop now. She was getting a migraine again. She sighed and leaned her head back and stopped her meandering. She glanced around to see where her feet had led her this time and found herself standing at the doors of the Library. “Hmm coincidence I think…but might as well go in and look around.
So in she went, and when inside she stared in speechless amusement. This Library was huge; her eyes gazed over the many books and felt slightly dizzying. She loved to read but it would take her years upon years to read all these books. She quickly moved to the nearest shelf and looked over the titles she read off silently “Spells, Ancient Myths, Romance, and many other odd-an-ends titles. She smirked though and continued to study them completely unaware of the one approaching her from behind. A young woman who was obviously a librarian came over and touched her shoulder. Lotus jumped and whirled around her hands trying to find grasp of her weapon and realized her Katana was not with her at the current moment. She sighed though thankful that it hadn’t been with her. The Librarian stared at her with a quizzical confusion.
“Might I help ye?” She asks her slight accent made Lotus’ curious. She thought for a moment and before she could catch the words that fell from her mouth she asked “Do you have anything on Ranaleith?” She asks and felt a sudden urgency, what in the world why had she asked that right now. She shrugged and then looked at the Librarian. She nodded.
“Please sit I will bring you what I have on it” She gestured towards a table and chairs made from oak. Lotus nodded some and then turned going to the table and sitting. –That was easy enough…- She thought watching as the Librarian disappeared around the corner of a rather large bookcase. Lotus leaned her chair to try and watch but only sat back having no view of the Young BookKeeper.
Only a few moments later did the short stringy lady come back. She carried in her arm’s only two books. And then setting them down she said. “I’ll be right back I have one more book on that Subject, it came in the other day from over seas.” She says and then scuttles away. Lotus quirked a brow and thought –How odd I would have thought the word was just ancient history or something. - She shrugged and opened the first book and looked for the word Ranaleith. She titled her head to the side and read…
{Book Readings:
-RanaLeith is considered to be one of the Oldest known realms in this entire world. Some say the gods made it first and made it the home of their children and their children’s children. RanaLeith is a wide variety nation holding many creatures not found anywhere else on this world any longer save for in Rana. -}
She stopped reading and looked up and sighed –Okay that’s interesting and all by why would I be dreaming about it…Is it were I am from? - She flipped a few pages and then read on.
{RanaLeith has had many problems in its histories though of the Gods lashing out at it. And sadly many deaths have came from it. But none had been as worse as the “Night Avolon” Some say a demi goddess destroyed Rana…some say that it was just a break out in surges of elements but… only a few lived that night. Rana was shut into utter darkness for 5 minutes, and in that time frame something killed almost every soul on the continent… Many who survive blame it on Lady Moon Goddess of Spirits in that nation. The Goddess of the Moon and the gates to heaven and Hell. None are exactly Sure what happened but that was known to be the greatest amount of destruction on RanaLeith only 3 years ago.}
Lotus stopped reading suddenly her ice gaze stricken with fear. –But, wait…My memories start only …3 years ago…First in the lands DeAusiae. –She stepped back suddenly the chair being knocked over she moved away slowly. RanaLeith….. Was her home…-I was born there….- She turned suddenly and ran. Out the doors she went and into the shadows stricken, more confused then ever.
Moments later the librarian walked back blinking. “Ello?!? Miss???!!!”
