Kli smiled at the waterfalls quietly, taking off her sandals as she sat by Richimon Lake. The velvet night sky had stars spread across the sky like jewels. They twinkled ever so brightly. A small breeze blew through her red and black wavy hair, shoving a few hairs into her face. She closed her blue grey eyes for a moment, breathing silently as she felt the breeze. She opened her eyes before taking off her cloak and laying it on the ground beside her. She rubbed her arms slightly over her hands before getting up and putting her foot into the water. She flinched, finding it was a bit cold. She started to wade into the water, getting her white skirt and shirt wet. She bit her lip as she tried to get used to the cold water that touched her pale skin. She closed her eyes and emersed herself in the water, swimming to the bottom before comming up for air. She wiped the water from her eyes before looking around. She smiled, kicking her legs as she swam on her back on the lake. Her eyes looked to the full moon, as pale as it could be infront of the pitch black sky. "Oh moon, does your beauty ever fail to make me wish on you? You know the wish I wish every night.. So maybe I may not have to say it once again, since I'm sure you know what I am to wish..." She smiled before squeezing some water from her hair. She looked to the waterfall and swam over to it, going under it so it could wash her troubles away.
She stayed there a while, just letting the water run over her before swimming a few feet from it and taking the water from her eyes. Something felt wrong. She felt she was being watched. That something or someone was near. Her heart raced as her blue grey eyes wandered, spine tingling as she prepared for anything that may come. Something seemed to be off. She started swimming towards the place that she had left her cloak and sandals, getting out of the water. She looked around but she couldn't find either of them. She sighed, realizing she had forgotten where she had put them. She started to circle the lake quietly, realizing she had also left her sword with the rest of her belongings, including her horse.
Astalder - January 17, 2005 01:47 AM (GMT)
Astalder was sleeping high, high above the crystal colored lake. A light breeze picked up that blew his hair in its direction. The wan light of the white moon made it shine as it rippled through the air. Astalder went to turn over on his side, but the branch wasn't that thick and he began to fall.
Right when Astalder felt his stomach drop because of the fall, he woke up. He was passing everybranch on his way down. He never touched one, which was very odd. He landed on the soft grass with a quite thump. His landing was so silently, some one standing next to him wouldn't be able to hear him over the buzzing of the crickets and other insects.
Astalder felt a disturbance in the lake next him as he saw soft ripples hit the bank of the lake. He looked over the lake to see the figure of a woman in the waters. But just as quickly as the woman had gotten in she was out.
"Excuse me, miss. Are you ok? Do you need help with something?" Astalder said, walking over to the woman, but instantly turned around and covered his eyes, as he noticed what she was wearing. White wasn't the wisest thing to wear for a woman while swimming. He figured she thought she was alone, though. Before turning around, Astalder had noticed a familiar mane.
"Is that you, Kli?" He asked, eyes still covered.

(Okay...)
Kli walked along the shore quietly before being startled by a familiar voice. Her blue grey eyes darted around to soon land on Astalder. He asked a question, but before she could answer he turned away. She laughed slightly at this. "I'm fine.. I was just looking for a few things I have seemed to have misplaced.. Sir.." She said, going along as if she didn't know who he was. She watched him quietly, trying not to laugh. "It's not as if I am n-" She looked at herself, realizing that she was wearing white that was soaked. "Oh.. Well, no wonder.." She laughed, rolling her eyes at her stupiditty. "My cloak would've been handy right now if it wasn't lost.." She listened to his question. "Yes, it's me Kli.. Hello again Astalder.." She said. "You seem to always find me in akward times.." She joked. "If you feel uncomfortable I'll just get back into the water again.." She said with a shrug. She waded into the water deep enough to cover everything but above her shoulders. "So.. What are you doing here?" She asked, starting to wade along the shore as she continued her search for her things. She used a ribbon to tie back her hair from her pale face as she searched the distant shore ahead of her.
She couldn't help remembering about the vision she had of Astalder and Lilith. She smiled quietly to herself. She didn't quite know if it was the past or the future, or if it would actually happen, but she felt happy to think of her two friends in happyness. Her mind wandered back to wondering where her stuff went. Someone could have stolen her things. They weren't exactly things that she could just loose so easily, she could've sworn they were where she thought they were, but now her mind wondered if she was really loosing it. "Sorry.. I am curious when it comes to other peoples lives.. Especially when they are my friends.." She laughed slightly. Her mind wandered to the past, to all the times that her curiousity had absorbed her every thought. "I know that some business is not my own, but sometimes I can't help it.. How have you been? What have you been up to?" She said, also trying to keep the conversation as far from her as possible.
Astalder - January 17, 2005 03:56 AM (GMT)
Astalder laughed as Kli joked.
"Indeed, I can't seem to actually meet you in a tavern, or possibly just skipping stones on a pond. I wonder what our next encounter will be like," he said with a small chuckle. "And it isn't quite that I feel uncomfortable, it's just I feel guilty seeing you like... well that. But if you're fine with it, you can come out, and we could look for your belongings together."
Astalder answered her question. "Well, I was sleeping up on top of that tree, on the tree waaay up their. And I suppose I must have rolled off the branch and I just fell Down. Oddly enough I hadn't hit any branches on the way down. I landed softly on the ground, and well here I am." He said with a smile and he looked into a bush.
Astalder's ears tingled as he picked up the whispering of a gruff man.
"Yeah, she's a beauty isn't she Tom? It's a bloody shame we couldn't catch 'er naked. I s'pose this'll do though." Astalder's gaze hardened as he walked over to a the tree that the man was leaning against. He stood behind it and wrapped his arm around where he thought the man's neck would be. He was rewarded with a choked gargling sound.
"You know, it really isn't nice to be a peeping-tom," Astalder said with a harsh voice.
"Hey! Wot the hell is goin' on 'ere?!" said a man, who Astalder figured was 'Tom'. Astalder heard the unsheathing of a long dagger and acted quickly. He jumped around the trunk of the tree and kicked the man Tom in the face with both of his feet, his arm still wrapped around the first man's neck. He could hear the tearing of flesh as the man's neck scraped against the bark of the tree. He let out an aguished yell and Astalder let go of him. He unsheathed his sword and dug the pointed part on the handle, into the man's temple.
The man let out a silent gasp and instantly died. He walked over to Tom, who was groaning and rubbing the side of his face. He smacked the man in the side of his face with the flat of his blade.
"Aren't you the lucky one, to be spared so mercifully," he scowled at the unconscience man and grabbed both men by the neck. He stuffed the dead man into a bush and took the other to a rose bush. He stuffed him in their. When he woke up, he wouldn't leave without at least one rose stem stuck in his throat.
Not far in the distance, he saw a cloak hanging on a branch, sandals on top of the branch, the Blade of Lorian, and other miscellanious items. He gathered them up, cursing at the perverts that had so rudely stolen Kli's items for their fantasies, and walked back to where she swam.
"I'm very sorry this happened to you Kli. I hope you will excuse my violent behavior..." his voice was no longer calm and freindly, but harsh and annoyed. He was completely disgusted. How could people be so ignorant?... He thought to himself.
Kli_Of_Lorian - January 29, 2005 02:04 AM (GMT)
She smiled, listening to her friend. "The only reason I seemed comfortable is because I've had worse things happen. I've done so many embarrasing things, and been in so many situations, that it doesn't bother me so much anymore." She said with a slight laugh. "But I don't want to make you feel guilty for something so silly, so I think it won't be too hard to walk through the water as I look for my things. I really shouldn't have left them stay out without supervision. I mean, who wouldn't want to steal the sword?" She said jokingly. "I've done that before.. Unfortunately, a wanderer was walking right under when I fell, and I wasn't floating down either.." She laughed, remembering lost times. She then saw what happened and looked to the sky momentarily as if searching for answers. She didn't know exactly know how to react, but she stayed calm as her big blue grey eyes looked to Astaldar and her things. "Thank you, but violence is not the answer to everything." She said. "Too many have died because of me.." She got out of the water, taking her cloak and wrapping it around her soaked body.
"Humans only do these things because they either hate their life, or it makes them feel better if other people hurt. Death won't teach them a lesson. They have no real reason to live, so killing them is just what they want. If you wish to make them learn their lesson, you should really find other ways other than torture. You're better than that, you know (or will know) in time what I speak of." She quietly looked at the death that seemed to loom about her, and pain kept swelling from within her. As she slipped on her sandals and started to put everything back on, flash-backs reminded her of all the death that seemed to follow everywhere she went. She was tierd of death, even though it couldn't be avoided. She strapped the sword on to her waist.
"I am sorry for throwing this on you.. I am sure that you were only trying to protect my well being, but things that are new to me seem to be constantly in my mind with no end. Don't apologize for who you are, who you've always been. Everyone who has enough willpower to live has that fight left in them. It is a habit to show off the fight that's in you, but eventually break it I'm sure." She smiled slightly. "You have potential, but don't throw it away by trying to bring down every person who has done wrong. We are all sinners, but our sin will be the thing that punishes us. Only when you truly need to, should you fight, but you also must make your own decision on when that time is.."
Astalder - January 30, 2005 10:09 PM (GMT)
Astalder sat down and pulled his legs close to his chest and wrapped his arms around them. A light breeze made is hair flow in a silky shine in the wind's direction. His wings seemed to twinkle of the moonlight as they gradiented to it's light blue color. The only thing that seemed wrong was his eyes. His greyish blue eyes were dull and did not sparkle like they normally did. He sat their in deep thought as he listened to Kli's words of wisedom. He rethought what he had just done, almost in shock to see in his head that he had actually done something like that. Astalder was a risky kind of guy, very adventurous and daring. But for such event he wounded think of ever killing some one. Astalder's lower back tingled. As a result he went too look up at the full moon. It was clear to him now and Astalder stood up, lightning quick, and grasped Kli by both shoulders and spoke in a stern voice.
"Kli, you must leave immediatly from this place. IT is no longer safe for you to stay in my presence. I need you to call your horse or one of your animal companions and ride far, far away from me." Astalder said looking a bit worried.
He rubbed his temples, thinking. He had never got proper healing after his last patrol in Taras. It was possible that he could immediatly turn into a Lycan at any given moment. Their was one of three hazards that this disease was capable up. Kli wasn't safe here, Astalder wasn't safe if he tried to kill Kli, or they were both in greave danger.

Kli_Of_Lorian - February 12, 2005 10:16 PM (GMT)
Kli watched him quietly as he sat down, but then stood up only to sternly tell her to leave. She looked at his curiously. Her nature could not be altered, no matter how many changes she has made in her lifetime. She wanted to know what was happening, making her mind wonder for a long while before saying anything. "But.. Why-" She cut herself off as she looked at the moon quietly, realizing that was the thing he looked at before he got up. She was quiet for a moment before looking at him once again. She figured it was useless to try and get him to tell her why. It was something that didn't seem very good for him, but she couldn't go against a friends wishes. "If that is what you feel is best.." She said quietly before hugging the cloak close to her and starting to walk off. Her horse started after her and she hopped on. "Goodbye.. I pray you will eventually tell me why, but I know I can not ask now.." She said quietly before she lightly kicked the horse and it galloped off.
Astalder - February 14, 2005 11:09 PM (GMT)
Before Kli walked off to her horse, Astalder gave her a tight hug, his wings flying upwards to the sky.
"Their is a chance I may not see you again this time... I could easily be killed soon... If I don't return or ever see you again, please tell Lilith that I am sorry," Astalder gave one last nod and watched as Kli galloped off into the moonlit horizon.
Feeling sudden pulses of pain course through his body, Astalder fell to his knees and clutched his skull tightly. In a last effort to stop the madness Astalder let out a howl into the night air. Yes a howl, not a cry. It was too late now. He could feel hair on his body thicken rapidly. His teeth became long white fangs and his ears pointed upwards. His hands became claw like with long tails to add to the touch. His wings suddenly disappeared into his back and it was hard for him to stand of his hind legs for a long period of time. He was a werewolf now, and he would turn back until the morning.
Astalder ran off into the thick of the woods. Blood would be shed that night, whether it be his blood or the blood of others, that was a mystery even to himself...
