Title: A nervous new apprentice

Reyima - January 16, 2005 09:16 PM (GMT)
Reyima looked around him as he walked through the hallways, he often saw mages, young freshmen and magisters alike, studying, teaching, or practicing... He was nervous, since he is completely new to the school he was signed up for, and being from the countryside of foreign lands didn't do him well either, everytime he tried to address a student or teacher who was passing by, they seemed busy, so he sought on, hoping to find the library, or the dormitories, so he could get started on, what for him, is a slightly strange and exiting adventure here on this school.

Master Ace - January 17, 2005 02:18 AM (GMT)
(You, apparently haven't looked around the academy topics too much. the place is desolate, but no biggy.) Master ace walked through the hallways of the academy. Ace did not know where all of the students came form, but it was more likely that they would be a curse rather than a blessing. Ocassionally a group a of student would come out and treat the academy like a fad, but within a weak the fad would have faded and the mytic charm would be gone. To see so many stundets so quickly he was sure this must definately be a fad of some sort. Ace saw a student who seemed to be trying to get help but constantly got ignored. Ace hastened to the kid annoyed with the insensiblity of some people. "Do you need some help?" Ace asked Reyima as he put his hand on the boy's shoulder.

Reyima - January 17, 2005 10:37 AM (GMT)
(Ooc: I think students would walk through the halls between classes, rather than just dissappear, no? Either way, sometimes students indeed wander the halls as a fad >.> Even in real life..)

Reyima, slightly startled, replies slowly "Um.. yes please, i'm looking for the library and the dormatories... i'm sort of new here, and kind of eager to get started, sir." He looked at the figure, who obviously looks like an authority, probably one of the magisters, either way, he was happy someone wanted to help.

Master Ace - January 18, 2005 03:24 AM (GMT)
(Good point. I was just trying to think of some snesible reason to contridict the acedemies history of no stundents)

Master ace smiled. It was good to see one who seemed to have an intrest in staying at the academy. "It seems as though you could use a tour. I can grant that for you if that is your wish. Perhaps we can even get you learning in a class today if time permits," Ace smiled to the elf. He nolonger found it unusual to look and be younger than not only alll of the magisters, but nearly all the students.

Reyima - January 18, 2005 09:50 AM (GMT)
Reyima smiles and nods politely. "I'd like that, it's good to know your way around here." He then remembers something;"We haven't been properly introduced yet, my name is Reyima, Reyima Shizuiraku." He bows a bit, in a formal manner which is a custom to where he grew up.

(Ooc: Look at the timeframe of most RP's, they're almost all between classes when there's few students in the hallways)

Master Ace - January 18, 2005 12:26 PM (GMT)
(That or during class with no students.)

Master Ace bowed in similar fashion to Reyima. He did not wish to seem rude before the future student. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Reyima Shizuiraku. I am Master Ace, the best magister this academy has to offer," Ace replied. "We shall go to the library first if you have no prefrence as to where the tour starts. As we go do you mind telling what brought your intrest to the academy," Ace said as he turned to guide Reyima through the hallways.

Reyima - January 18, 2005 03:58 PM (GMT)
Reyima nods and smiles a bit, following Master Ace. "It's been a dream, you could say.. I was always curious, and Magic is such a wondrous force, i guess i felt like studying and practicioning it.. It has such amazing, and sometimes terrifying possibilities. I knew that i'd have to study alot, so i came here."

Master Ace - January 18, 2005 09:43 PM (GMT)
"That's good. I came to the academy to improve my own ablities. I knew well of magic. I didn't say a student for long, but in a way I am still a student. Work hard and perhaps one day you shall be teaching magic," Ace smiled as he lead Reyima through the halls. Ace stoped when they had left the main academy building and were standing by the Academy Library. "This is the Library, you can several interesting volume to study here," Ace said as he gestured to the Library.

Reyima - January 19, 2005 09:23 AM (GMT)
Reyima looked inside the Library, and smiled a bit. "Me a teacher.... strangely, it doesn't sound that bad, but for now, i'll just learn." He looked at all the books, and already saw himself sit here for hours, trying to read them all. "You can learn all about magic, and still not be a master.. That's defenitely a given."

Master Ace - January 20, 2005 06:14 PM (GMT)
Ace luaghed. "Yes that is definately a given, now let us continue," Ace smiled. Ace knew nearly everything about magic, but was still very far from being a master in his own eyes, but already there in the eyes of some. Ace led Reyima through more of the academy halls. "You seem pretty young for an elf. Do you still have a family and a place in the world you call home?" Ace asked.

Reyima - January 20, 2005 07:48 PM (GMT)
Although Reyima doesn't mind the question, he minds the awnser, since he doesn't know much about his family, besides some... unpleasant facts. He chooses not to reveal those facts. Reyima frowned a little, and gave it a bit of thought, then said:"Well, a home... no, as for family.. i don't really know, since i grew up with foster family." Though none of it was lied, reyima knows people are wishing to know about his family as much as he does, and they aren't as friendly as him... But, for now, he focuses on this, his studying.

Master Ace - January 20, 2005 11:39 PM (GMT)
Ace thought of saying something about his own self, but decided against. For several years he did not know where his mother or father was, but he had in time managed to find and save his mother. He had clues of his father, but they were not enough to find him or reaveal the secrets around him. "Aw... Well did you like the foster family?... Nevermind you don't have to answer that. If you liked them you would likely have a place to call home," Ace said before stoping near the academy dorms. "For now this place can be your home. Feel free to choose a room and bring in any belongings you may have."

Reyima - January 21, 2005 06:07 PM (GMT)
Reyima nods and looks around a bit. "I'll go get my belongings, i had them shipped here rather than taking the risk of looking like a robber's target." He was fond of what little belongings he had, thus rather than keeping them with him, he shipped them which seemed relatively safer. "I think i will be able to find the rest of the facilities, thank you for the tour, and the good company, i appreciate it."
He knew that his stay at the acadmy was going to be a fruitful one, and hopefully, a pleasant one too.

Master Ace - January 21, 2005 09:21 PM (GMT)
"Smart Lad. It was indeed a pleasure meeting you. I should hope to be seeing you in one of my classes after you sort out your belongings. I do indeed hope that the academy becomes a place that you can rightly call home," Ace smiled as he turned to leave. It was about time for him to start getting ready for his class. He was planning another feild trip and maybe this one might actually get a start off of the ground.

Reyima - January 22, 2005 08:22 PM (GMT)
Reyima smiled, as he watched the Magister leave, he knew he wouldn't be in too much trouble here, after all, they had never searched him in a public spot, and he felt comfortable here, it'd make a great place to stay and learn, maybe find awnsers to some questions of his... either way he had to pick up his few possessions, then get settled at the dormitories.
