((Apparently so, when there's a bleeding blizzard. Zin really needs to think about getting a job that doesn't require freezing her butt off...))
(Blizzard, Quiet Crowds)
Zin slipped on a patch of ice on the planking of the docks, hitting the ground with a clatter and a muffled yell. Her cloak was wrapped 'round her lower face, and the upper half of her body. She shivered, standing with a clank of armor.
She rubbed her arms, looking around in annoyance, wondering if the rumors she'd heard of smugglers using the docks were true. "...They'd have to be stupid, come out in this cold..."
Vernon didn't like wandering about in the cold, let alone a blizzard, but he knew that the pay would be good enough for the job. Vernon walked carelessly towards the docks with a stolen coat covering his furry body. He should have stolen a better coat. Mitz and Ritz slumbered peacefully in the pockets of the backpack on Vernon's back. The bag of rotten foods also contained a few items that were not exactly supposed to be in Taras or their target destination for that matter. The bag had a stench alsmost as bad as Vernon's. Vernon had not expected to see anyone at the docks. If she had not of fell she he would not have noticed her at all. When he heard her fall he quickly jumped behind a crate. He try to peep around the crate and veiw her, but the blizzard's winds denied him sight of her.
Zin grimaced, feeling her nose start to go numb, and shivered. She looked around in annoyance, absolutely livid about being sent into the cold like this, especially when there were others that had much better clothing for a blizzard.
She cursed under her breath, then looked around again, scowling.
Well if he couldn't see her, then he propably couldn't be seen. Vernon quickly scamper across the docks. His target vessel was none other than the Golden Saint, an ironic name for it's uses. Vernon could not wait till he got inside. He would be free of these nasty winds in the fairly large ship. He could propably even take a nice nap after he was done. Maybe after the nap was over the winds would have died down.
