Title: One on One[p]
Description: For Master Ace

Eden - January 12, 2005 02:34 AM (GMT)
Eden had been looking for the Acadamy of Magic for several hours. He was so new to this area and he has not yet quite grasped where everything is in his mind. Eden he looked in the most unusual places and was unlucky in finding anything everytime. It was until he asked a vilager as to where he could find the acadamy of magic. The old man pointed out the direction of where Eden was to go and what the place would look like. Now he had an idea of what he was looking for. He was to head in this direction and look for a magnifiscent building that seems to be birth magic it self. He traveled for a few days and finally came to the land where the school would be. It turned out that he was some where near the province of Cascadia. His journey was not that long and easier than Eden thought it would turn out.

Eden came to a meadow of green grass and saw a building off into the distance. He smiled and some how knew that it was the Acadamy of Magic. Eden paused for a moment and took in a deep breath. He looked at his surroundings and a smile grew on his face. He set off to the School of Magic.

Eden enetered the school and walked intot the courtyard. It was very large and he saw that there was a surprisingly few people around for such a big area. He wondered why there would not be so many students standing in the courtyard practicing their magic. He looked around to see empty benches and lawns of grass that awaited for students to sit on, reading and studying magic. Has magic grown out of style? Eden thought to him self. He looked to the edifice of the main building and made his way to it and entered.

Master Ace - January 13, 2005 03:35 AM (GMT)
Master Ace was inside of the tower of Arcana. Several books lay open upon one table and another was filled with his alchemical equipment. He was testing out a few recipies and he found within the library of the academy. Though he prefered magic, he found alchemy to be a very interesting study. Not far away his mother, Reis sat by the window. Easel and paint were before her but not blocking her veiw of the window. She was making a painting of the veiw. Being on the third floor, she could see well more than the academy buildings surrounding the tower of Arcana. She see the mountains in the distance mountains in the distance. She aslo could get a good veiw to the path to the academy. Reis' eyes widened with intrest as she saw someone walking down the path. She could tell that he was angel by his wings, but if she were up closer she could identify him as an angel even if his wings were made invisible. Reis was sure she had not seen any angel's walking out to the academy and she knew that it was certainly a rare event when a new face could be seen at the academy. "Ace, There is a man walking towards the academy. Perhaps he has been given poor instructions to the academy of arms," Reis chuckled softly as she continued with her painting.

Ace looked up from his work at her words and quickly put up his dangerous equipment and corked the few vials he had open. "Thanks for the heads up, mom," Ace smiled before decending down the stairs.

It was not long before Ace was in the Academy's main building. Before Ace could get within 10 feet of the doors Eden came through." Welcome to the Academy of magic. What can I do for you?" Ace smiled.

Eden - January 16, 2005 02:46 AM (GMT)
Eden opened the doors of the Magic Acadamy and was awed. The building and design of the place was magnifiscent. He looked up at the ceiling and liked the paintings that seemed to be ancient. Eden looked and he saw a man standing in front of him. Eden smiled and said,

"Hello there. My name is Eden Botteusai. I am here to learn every kind of magic there is. I am looking for what the villagers called a magister. I assume that this would be a teahcer of magic. If you would not mind, I would like to be given a tour of this place and learn about what magic is as well."

Eden extended his hand to greet him self and shake the stranger's hand. His smile was warm and welcoming. He again looked up to the ceiling and was once again in awe of the architexture and art. He thought he would like very much to stay here for a while. Eden wanted to know about magic. He was curious and wanted to learn every kind of magic there would be. He would not practice dark magic but would learn and study about it. Eden wanted to know why he should practice magic and why he should not. He wanted to know the pros and cons of the use and knowledg of magic.

Master Ace - January 18, 2005 04:04 AM (GMT)
Eden seemed to take a paticular liking to the architecture of the academy for his gaze continued to turn up to them in admiration. "Welcome Eden. It appears that your time is good. Before you not only stands a magister but the best and most expereinced magister this academy has to offer. I am Master Ace. I shall assit you as best I can in helping you learn of every type of magic. As for the tour, I don't mind giving you one at all." Master Ace smiled before turning his eyes upwards to veiw what Eden was looking at. There were beautiful paintings, but Ace knew them to be painted by no mortal hand at all. Paintbrushes animated to move on their own decorated the ceiling. The end result was of course better than te mage had invisioned. Reis made wonderful paintings, better than many that were in the Academy, but Reis had no paintings to be openly veiwed in the academy. Mainly because she was to modest to have her work shown off like that. Ace occassionally put up a painting or two in his own classroom. The majority of her paintings were in her own room and in the Tower of Arcana.

Ace brought his eyes back down to look at Eden. "Magic is essentially manipulating the energy around you. It is easier to speciallize in one or a few types of magic. The ablity to maniplate multiple energy types often comes with consequences to the mage, though they differ depending upon who the mage casts magic."

Eden - January 19, 2005 08:11 PM (GMT)
Eden brought his gaze back down to the magister before him. He had no idea that he himself was the best and most experienced magister the acadamy had to offer. Eden was very lucky to encounter this one man than any other simple teacher of magic. Eden envisioned of learning very much from this man. His name was Master Ace and it was Eden's honor to meet such a person as he. Eden walked up to Master Ace and extended his hand to greet himself.

"I must say teacher, it is an honor to meet you. I look foward to learnind magic from you. I want to specialize in a small number of magics, but I would very much like to learn about them all. I wish to gain knowledge of the effects magic has on its caster, why I should and why I should not use magic and the history of it. I am very curious to the nature of magic. I will buy whatever texts you require me to have and I will do all of my homework. I do hope that we learn a lot together."

Eden had a smile on his face that he could not wipe off. He was excited and anxioous to learn. Magic put a curiosity on his shoulders that he would to find a cure for by learning about the mysterious force. Eden wanted to master some types of magic but he wanted to know everything about everything there is to know about magic.

Master Ace - January 28, 2005 02:13 AM (GMT)
Master Ace had seen few who seemed as eager as Eden. It was also not often that angels were were so fond of learing about magic and such. Ace could see a good bit of potential in Eden. He would likely make for a good student. "You shall be provided with any texts you need for your classes. Speaking of Texts we shall make our first stop the liabrary. This way, please," Ace smiled as he turned around. He slowly walked down the hall and began to navigate through the academy towards the Liabray. His pace was one that would be easy to follow and Ace had no doubts that Eden was following with eager eyes and eager ears. "It is good that you want to specialize in a small quantity of magic. It easier to learn and use magic that way. It is also good to start small even when your ultimate goal is very large," Master ace said before stopping in front of the Academy library. "This is the academy library, full of many useful books, though Taras' library has more books and the Tower of Arcana has better books. I suppose you would like to see the dorms next?" Ace smiled. Ace found that the Taras library was often unreliable when it came to many of the things Ace searched for. The tower of Arcana almost always had something related to what Ace searched for though it usually took him a while to search the pelethora of tomes.

Eden - February 1, 2005 01:49 AM (GMT)
Eden followed behind Master Ace. He looked around as he did but his kept special attention to Ace. Eden found him self to be very interested in the working of the building. The paintings and sculptures especially captured Eden’s interest. He looked at them and played a history in his mind that may have possibly inspired the creation of these beautiful works of art. Eden looked to the back of Master Aces head as he said that it was good to start little with magic. Eden nodded his head in agreement and smiled. Eden had a huge plan for magic and a huge goal.

“I do have a large goal to achieve. It may take a life time but I will accomplish my goal and dreams. I only want to master in a few fields of magic but I would like to know about all of the fields. Even the ones that border on magic, like herbalism and such. I wish to know my enemy and know what to do to counter the manipulated energy.”

They came across the library and stood there. Eden was amazed at the number of books that were held in the library. He wanted to read all of them, as he loved to read so. Eden walked into the grand room and turned around to face Master Ace. A smile was upon his face and he looked back to the books and shelves of books. The shelves were tall and magnificent. Books seemed to be virtually everywhere and unable to be counted. Eden turned his head and spoke to Master Ace with a smile.

“Suppose I will not be needing a book? I think I will have all of the information I will need to find in this room. I am in awe. I do not believe my eyes. I have been to the Taras library but in so many ways, this one seems to be a lot better.”

Master Ace - March 8, 2005 05:52 PM (GMT)
From the occasional glances back at Eden, Ace took notice that Eden seemed to be taking intrest in the artwork and design of the academy. Perhaps he was an artist himself or perhaps just an avid lover of the arts. Either way Ace supposed Eden would likely get along well with Reis pretty well.

"To know about all magics is not too difficult goal, but then again one can never know everything. General knowlege is easy to gain, but to know about all magic entirely is something that few can lay claim to," Ace replied before following Eden into the liabrary. Ace watched as Eden wanderer into the main room of the library. Ace was bewildered by Eden's words. The Taras Library if anything, would be the one to seem better in so many ways. The Taras Library was larger and as were it's shelves. The shelves of both libraries were packed with books. The biggest difference besides size was content of books and that could not be told at first glance.

"Well I guess this would be one of the academies best features and often the reason why people not even slightly intrested in classes find their way here. In any case if we are going to continue with the tour our next stop will be the the academy dorms," Ace smiled as he moved to the door curious if Eden would rather stay in the library longer rather than be rushed on Ace's attempt at a tour.
