Title: Wake up.
Description: Where the hell am I?

McKenzie - January 10, 2005 04:37 AM (GMT)
Run as much as you want, child, it doesn't matter. For no matter where you run, I'm always there. Haunting you in your sleep; destroying anyone who dares get close to a scarred little girl like you. What? You say you just want to die? No .. I won't let that happen. You're pain amuses me all too much.

Zeria was running, running as fast as she could force herself to go. It wasn't long before loss of blood and overexhaustion had her collapsing at the feet of the man who was doing this to her. Zeria didn't murmer a plea; didn't beg for mercy, she just stared at those hateful eyes with her own silver ones. The man brought his sword down upon Zeria, and that's when she awoke.

Blood, sweat; sand. It stuck to her face; her clothing, and Zeria found she couldn't do anything to rid herself of any of it. Zeria shuddered once; tried to stand. But she fell, and her world went dark. By the time she'd awoken again, Zeria was here. On an empty beach, the sunlight quickly fading as lets day pass to night. She stood, slowly to her feet; she shook all over. But it wasn't from cold or from the fear that whoever had tortured her and left her here to die ... or worse, it was because she couldn't remember anything. Only pain, and the numbing feeling that her past was somehow swiped clear from her mind. It was a disturbing feeling, and Zeria was at unease.

Hey. What's wrong Zeria? You look confused. Should I come back and ... help you?

Zeria shuddered at the voice.

"This wasn't supposed to happen. Something went wrong ..."

Zin - January 10, 2005 05:34 AM (GMT)
Zin walked slowly across the sand, her feet sinking into the sand as she moved, getting grains stuck between her toes, eyes half-shut and a scowl flickering across her features. She managed to keep from walking into the water, despite having her eyes shut and her face tilted slightly towards the sky. She stopped in midstep, the thin, wiry antennae that topped her head twitching, almost like they were contemplating something.

Violet eyes opened as the figure on the sand spoke, and The half-elf stepped towards the girl, cutting tohe distance to about a foot in seconds. "...Hello?" She sunk down to one knee, carefully tapping the other on the shoulder. "Hello? You need some help, or should I just leave you alone?"

Startled, Zeria jumped backwards; promptly tripping in the sand and landing on her back. She sat up; silver eyes carefully studying, an elf with ... antennae? Zeria didn't know if that was normal in whatever place this was, or not, but it was certainly something she couldn't recall ever seeing. After catching her breath, she shook her head, and wiped the sand from her face with a tattered shirtsleeve.

"Where ... am I?"

Zin - January 15, 2005 10:28 AM (GMT)
Zin raised an eyebrow, her antennae twitching back, then grabbed a scrap of cloth from one pocket-the remnants of a shirt that had been torn apart by a shapeshift spell that went wrong. She paused, and then water appeared in her cupped hand, soaking the rag.

"You're on the West Shores, it's not that far from Norwood Forest...You want some help with getting that blood off your face?" She held out the rag, ignoring the rather startled reaction of the other girl to her presence, and smiled.

West shores, Norwood forest? Zeria didn't know any of these places. With a nod, she slowly stood. She hesitated an instant, then accepted the wet cloth offered to her. With a wince, she wiped the blood from her face, favoring the scar upon it. When finished, she looked down at the sands.

"T-thanks."
