Title: A new class
Description: Mebbe?
Zero - January 4, 2005 08:17 PM (GMT)
Zero had woken up early in the morning before the sun came up. He got dressed up ready for a class to begin. As soon as he was finished changing clothes, he got his things from his bed and got ready to head out to the Outdoor Arena.
Zero walked out of his room in the dormitories and began to walk outside.
The hallways were empty, dark, and quiet. Some of the students could be heard snoring while others seemed to be annoyed from being woken up from the snores.
Zero chuckled a little and walked quietly out to the arena.
Zero pushed the doors open, and could feel the nice chilled breeze that was blowing. His hair waved a little and went to take a seat on the grass fixing his things. He was also making arrangements for his class, as it would begin in a few hours or so. He was checking out his blades first, to see if they werent dull yet.
Not a single blade in his possession had been dull. Less work for Zero.
The sun seemed to rise already as the hours went by so quickly.
Now all Zero had to do was wait for his students to arrive and begin the session.
Famine - January 5, 2005 07:38 AM (GMT)
Olath had waited the night on the outdoor training arena. He had wanted to avoid confrontation with as little people as he could. Demons were not usually welcomed in most places, even with his hood one, people would have noticed him. And in an arena, one would expect a demon to get too violent, but Olath liked to think that he was different then rest of his kind. Even though his temper was short, he killed not for pleasure. The demon had placed himself on one of the many benches, with his sword, lying on the bench next to him, sheathed. His gaze shifted from one place to the next, observing his surroundings. His crimson eyes caught a glimpse of what he assumed to be the weapon master. Automatically noticing the wings, Olath could not help but think about what had led him here in the first place. An angel... He thought to himself. The demon found it ironic for an angel to be the teacher of a demon. Olath stood, grabbing the sword, and fastening it around his waist. Once finished he walked over to the angel, to find out if he was the teacher for this class. "Hello there... Might you be the Weapon Master?" Olath asked, attempting to be polite, but the tone felt awkward to him, as he was usually either yelling insults at someone, or speaking in a malicious tone.
Zero - January 6, 2005 01:48 AM (GMT)
Zero's attention was now caught by someone unfamiliar. He looked up to see who it was and noticed to see a demon. The demon was no threat to him just yet. Just as long as he didnt try to pull anything cheap on him, no; but he did wonder one thing only. Why would an evil aligned being want to even learn to train. Usually they handle things on thier own. Thats weird. He kept this thought to himself and then he really wondered if he was going to try and strike. Zero kept it freindly with him for now, and answered his question. Yes I am. Have you come to learn? Your my first student as of today. Zero remained seated and then lifted his hand up for a hand-shake.
Mowen - January 6, 2005 07:40 AM (GMT)
The scenario had grown complicated, the threads of reason falling into intricate, tangled knots. His plans, as ever, were convoluted, sketched on the air itself, written in the subtle language of moonbeams and starlight, the silver glow him only stylus on the velvet canvas. As a result he was both neutral and sedated, his nature calm and composed, his grey eyes marking the rage searing through the landscape, ears noting the fall of sentence at the last. It had taken much to move the placid man to action, but he did not regret it, his gaze following the deadly arc of the blade, a weapon swung in reckless abandon, the force and brutality behind it meant to inflict rapid succession of life. Another might have been grateful for that mercy, but he did not intend to be slaughtered in such a heedless fashion, his dignity and arrogance demanding drama, the exquisite torment of an extended passing.
Mowen was allways looking for this place and finally he find it!
Mowen look to all things that was inside and now he was in the outdoor arena and saw one angel and other strange person! Mown aproache them and stayed quite!
Famine - January 7, 2005 02:41 AM (GMT)
Olath smiled, bearing his blood stained fangs. "Yes, I have come to learn. I am always in need of improvement." The demon said to the angel. Olath held out his, literally bony hand, and shook the angels hand. Despite his lack of muscles, he was quite strong. The demon let go of the angels hand, and looked around. "Do you know how many other students there will be? I am quite ready to learn." He stated, attempting to have a polite tone, once again, but made it end up sounding like he was annoyed. But Olath had all the time in the world.
Eden - January 7, 2005 04:41 AM (GMT)
Eden slept in the morning after he got to the Acadamy of Arms dormitory. He lay there on the bed and did not move util the bright sun land on his face from the open window. He looked outside and saw birds flying about, singing their morning songs. Eden turned his head toward the fencing arena. He did not care much that he was late. He did not even have to go to this class today.
Eden turned around and made way to his sheathed long sword leaning against the wall. He grabbed and walked out of his room. His foot steps could be heard along the stone halls as he made his way to the lesson on arms. He walked outside with a smile on his face. He looked up into the sky and said a quick prayer before he bagan his way to to class.
Eden walked onto the grass field and stopped to get a look at who was there already. Quite a mixture of people. He wondered what would come of this. Eden walked out into the grass and unsheathed his long sword. He looked at the person he assumed to be the weapons master and smiled. His friend, Jasmine, had told him much about this man. He was an angel also. Eden quickened his pace to him and he saw a future of either great friendship with that stranger or a very bitter relationship. It all depended on how the next few classes would go along.
Mowen - January 7, 2005 06:54 AM (GMT)
Mowen for a while waiting for more happening he saw another man entering there! So Mowen decide to do the same, he walked in them direction and said "Good Day to all, friends!" *Bows*
Mowen looks to the Angel and said "I am here to learn to! I am Mowen ready to begin the class if you give me permission to do it" Mowen waited for his answer.
Zero - January 7, 2005 12:55 PM (GMT)
Zero looked at the demon and answered his question but then he saw 2 more people approach where the two remained. Umm.... yes there is two people headed this way. We will begin once everyone is ready. Zero smiled at him and sat there knowing that this might have been a huge class if the number of students increased at random. He sat there waiting on the rest to arrive.
Zero then looked at the other man that had came and he also answered his question as well. But then Zero noticed that the other person had came to him at such a fast pace. He must've been very eager then. He then looked back to Mowen to answer him. A good day to you too Mowen. And yes you have permission to be here and learn. Zero smile remained on his face, he was surprised to see this many come already. The other student had now came along and Zero had to greet him. Hello there, are you here to learn too. You can join if you'd like. Zero then turned his attention to all of the three students that had arrived. My name is Zero for those of you who dont know and Im very glad to see you all here. I am assuming that everyone wants to learn how to improve the use of weapons, am I correct?
Zero then waited on his class and decided that three might just be it for today. He then waited patiently on anyone else to ask any questions, if they had any. Zero had no problem if more students showed up, he would be glad to teach as much as he can. But for now he waited on his students for any questions, comments and such.
Mowen - January 7, 2005 01:23 PM (GMT)
Mowen was glad to be accepted! "Yes i am here to train my skills using the sword!" Mowen watch the others students and finally he noticed that the strange person was a daemon! Mowen stayed a little aware with afraid that he do an evil act!
Mowen was really excited with this new class he never had did something like that with an unknown person so it's a new thing that he will do. Mowen waited for orders of the Zero the Angel!
Famine - January 7, 2005 08:56 PM (GMT)
Olath looked at the other two, his face bearing the eternal ominous grin on his vissage. The bood-stained teeth were always shown. A most gruesome death it would be to die by his fangs, is what he assumed. But today, he had his hood on so he would not be as obvious. Though, if someone were to look at him closely, they'd see the spines petruding from his back, and know he was a demon of some sort. "I do hope we are training with live blades. It would be a shame, if we were to use those weak, wooden toys that the Academy has..." He stated, taking a few steps toward the elve, who Olath could tell, knew that he was a demon, and was not to fond of that.
Eden - January 8, 2005 01:11 AM (GMT)
Eden reached to where he wanted to be. He took his sword and readied it. He was now ready for the class to begin. He set his blade on the ground and looked at it. It looked as though if it were brand new. The blade was sharp and uncut. The hilt of the sword was a normal silver, like the basic sword would be. The sword in whole was shiny and ones reflection could be seen in it.
Eden sat down and looked around at the people who were already there. He studied the Weapons Master and wondered if the class was going to be worth being here or not. He wondered what experiences the master had and what enabled him to be called a weapons master. Eden was thinking how many wars and battles one could fight in order to obtain the status of Weapons Master. Eden then looked at the demon and eyed it. He did not like demons and wished that they go back to the fiery abyss. That is where they belonged. Eden thought if he should be here or not.
Zero - January 8, 2005 02:48 AM (GMT)
Zero looked at Olath and and he had answered his question before anyone else.
No, were going to use the weapons we wield. But if anyone here is to act in an innappropriate manner, I will be handing out the wooden swords. Is that understood. I dont want to see anyone get hurt, so rule number one: no horseplay. Thats the only rule I have, so dont abuse it and lose your privlages.Zero looked at every single one of them in the eye. He felt that this class he could trust and keep it safe. Though he did want to learn everyones names before they began. He wanted to know what experience they have had so far with their weapons before he began class. He would bring out an introduction for the class first. Ok, before we begin, I want you to tell me about yourself. I want your name and how much experience you have with your weapons. That way I will no what level to teach at. I will start with an order first. You! whats your name. Zero looked at Olath expecting an answer and some info from him first. He then asked, Mowen, then Eden. Zero sat there waiting for answers, hopfully everyone would cooperate.
Famine - January 8, 2005 03:15 AM (GMT)
Olath looked at Zero when he spoke, almost dissappointed. Olath wanted enjoyed horseplay, to anger his enemies, and make them reckless. That was how Olath did things. "My name is Olath, and of course you all already know that I am a demon." He stated simply. "I have not had this blade for long, but I do enjoy it more than the weapon I had before this, which was a Morningstar." Olath added, staring back at the elf. "Your turn, long ears." He said to the elf, hoping to insult him in some way. Olath saw the way he looked at him, and was not pleased with the elf's behavior. The demon didn't honestly like anyone here. Two angels and an elf. Most of which were sworn enemies of demons. Olath unsheathed his Heavy Blade. The silver edge gleamed in the sun, as he removed it from its leather scabbard. "And I do wish to know you name too, Weapon Master." Olath said, turning his head to the angel.
Eden - January 8, 2005 04:15 AM (GMT)
Eden listened carefully as to who this demon was. His name is Olath. What an interesting name. It seemed to be a name of ancient heritage. Eden studied his sworn enemy. He looked him up and down trying to see what he would hide. He examined him and wondered if he would be a challenge in battle or not. Eden looked into the demon's eyes when he glanced back over at him. They were small orbs of red that looked as though they floated with in the sockets of whatever Olath had remaining under the hood of his cloak.
The weapons master asked for Olath's name and got a response, which was surprising since most demons would be non-cooperative. Eden looked back and forth at the two. He thought to him self if Olath would cause any trouble at all during the day. Eden thought what trouble he has already caused while he has been here. He saw Olath look over at him and he glared back. Eden kept an eye on the demonic one and jumped up when he saw that he unsheathed his sword and demanded to know the name of the weapons master. Eden could not tell if this was a hostile behavior or just a menacing one. Eden had his hand wrapped tightly around the handle of his mace, ready to take action. He looked back and forth from the demon and the weapons master.
Zero - January 8, 2005 06:02 AM (GMT)
(((OOC:Hello ppl this is a class not a staring contest. sheesh!)))
Zero looked at Olath, he heard his question as well, it was odd though. Zero would have to repeat his name once again. Like I said earlier, my name is Zero. However you have unacceptable behavior, I suggest you change your attitude Olath. We will learn to cooperate. No cruel comments to anyone. I mean it. Zero noticed that Olath seemed to have problems with class-mates. Zero noticed Olath giving dirty looks to a student and the student did the same. This would have to stop. Zero would not put up with any of this nonsense. He finally shouted out, not in a loud tone but not too softly either. Stop it! Both of you. I have noticed you giving each other dirty looks since your arrivals. I will not teach a class under these circumstances. So I highly suggest you get your acts together.p Zero demanded. He gave out stern looks to the both. No one seemed to pay any attention to Mowen what so ever.
Zero would have someone leave if this didnt work out. And Zero already had someone in mind. He waited for Eden to answer him. But it seemed that Eden was silent the whole time. He waited for Mowen to answer him back as well.

Famine - January 8, 2005 07:26 AM (GMT)
((Woops... Oh well...))
Olath looked at the angel. "I cannot help the look on my face, for I have no flesh on it. And I made no rude comments, I just did not know the elf's name, so I merely called him 'long ears' because he is the only one of us here with long ears." He said, pulling of his hood. It revealed the skull which had an everlasting grin. His fangs were as sharp as the tip of his sword, and the red floating orbs, seemed to dim, to adjust to the light. "You see... And I made no rude comments, I just did not know the elf's name, so I merely called him 'long ears' because he is the only one of us here with long ears." Olath said. He then put his hood back on, and his eyes brightened under the shade of it. "Its the elf who isn't acting his age... After all, I am a demon. He's probably well over three hundred years old. At minimum." Olath spat. He stuck the blade of his sword in the ground next to him. Carrying it around, would only waste his energy. "And I was about to learn the elf's name, until you interrupted." Olath said to the angel, making it sound as friendly as possible. He did not want to be kicked out of this class, and would have to watch his mouth carefully.
Zero - January 9, 2005 09:05 PM (GMT)
Zero knew that he had wasted so much time in trying to get to know them. He really didnt care anymore in who they were or anything. He needed to keep himself on track. Zero quickly listened to Olath and when he finished speaking, Zero just nodded his head. OK enough of the time has been wasted. Lets just begin training. I will cooperate with you first Olath. Zero then readied himself and sheathed his Angelic sword out. He swung his sword lightly at a slow pace toward Olath and trying to make contact with his blade. Zero took it easy for now. He would train Olath for a few minutes and then move on to doing the same to the others that waited.
Eden - January 9, 2005 10:10 PM (GMT)
Eden looked at the demon and then gazed to the open air. He just shrugged his shoulders and decided not to let it get to him. Olath was rude, even he did not try to be. It was just the way he must have been. Eden sat back down and said nothing. He did not look at the weapons master or at the other student there. He had his sword sheathed and took out his wooden sword. He held it in his hands, rubbing it up and down, making sure that there were no parts on it to give him splinters. When Eden looked back up to the weapons master, he saw that he was slowly striking the demon. Eden was shocked and surprised. He did not expect them to actually use reall weapons. They would be so prone to the danger of death. He stood up immediately and interrupted, despite how rude it was. These were the first words that he spoke.
"Surely you are not going to use real blades in training? I did not expect that this would happen. Does this Acadamy not supply wooden weapons? Are you only going to train with one of us at a time?"
Eden stood there and hoped that he spoken some sense into the weapons master's head. He must have been joking when he was about to train in combat with his own sharp edged sword.
Famine - January 9, 2005 11:46 PM (GMT)
Olath was almost suprised that the angel drew his sword so quickly. For a second, the demon thought that his words had angered the angel to a point where he wanted to kill Olath. But when he realized the speed that the blade was coming at him, Olath quickly removed his heavy sword from where he had stabbed it into the ground, and held it in front of him, blocking the Angelic Sword with ease. "I know we are just training, but its almost insulting to me, to go about things, at this pace." Olath said, taking a few steps back, readying himself for the next attack. The demon then looked at the other angel present at the class. "This Academy does supply weakling weapons, but if you don't train with real blades, you won't last in real combat more than a few seconds." The demon stated, returning his attention to the Weapon Master.
Eden - January 10, 2005 01:26 AM (GMT)
Eden shook his head in disapointment at how little the poor demon knew of combatant training. He just stared at the both of them carrying on with the one on one training. He walked off intot the distance where there was a barrel of wooden weapons. He grabbed the large barrel and carried it back to where the class was. He set it on the ground and looked at every one else. He had a look of disapointment on his face. He grabbed one and extended his arm to hand to the elf whose name he had not yet learned. Eden did not want any one getting hurt and he thought that this class should be run the propper way.
