Title: Hunting a bandit!

Mowen - January 3, 2005 08:41 PM (GMT)
Oh how he hated those treks through the seemingly endless caverns, and corridors, and tunnels, and caved that led to the different areas of the underdark cities. He just came to the tunnels to hunt a bandit that was escaping from the loud, sometimes the smelly of the deep cavern just sick him, and this bandit was bothersome people that tended to reside inside the gates of the cities.

Today was one of the days that such an occasion was in order. The bandit was a thief wretch of a human, lacking in muscle, or any weight for that matter, and covered in clothes that had not seen clean water in years. That stench still stuck with him. As did the simplicity that was how he dispatched of the bandit but when he was always killing him se escaped going to these dark tunnels. Mowen finally find him... it was scared but I had to do that or he would kill more ppl in the underdark... Mowen approach him and broke his neck. "The gods forgive you all your bad actions!" He was already returning and walking on his way when the man knees hit the ground, and the last noise to ever escape his lips rang in the other inhabitants ears.

Now that he was free of the city he felt better, felt more relaxed, and took this rare time to sit down and close his eyes.

He was not a mindless killer, quite the opposite, his mind was in the good side but sometimes the good ones have to kill some to avoid more blood. He just enjoyed the simpler things in life, the basics of living as it were, life, and death. Life as in his life, and death, as in the pass to other life.

He let time pass on, and let his eyelids close as those thoughts streamed through his head. Hours must have passed before his eyes even felt the need to open again, but he kept them closed, wanting to savour this quiet time.

Tock - January 5, 2005 12:04 AM (GMT)
Tock was not at all pleased when he woke up. Darkness surrounded him. It was too dark to merely be a moonless cloudy night. There were no stars to light the area. To make matters worse He seemed to be carried on some strange creatures shoulder. The rythmic walking of the creature, was what had awoken tock in the first place, if not the creature's stench. Tock was afraid. He couldn't see, he didn't have the slightest clue where he was, and it seemed as though he was abducted by some creature which had a foul reek. The last he remembered was that making his way out of Gloomwood, as he had recently learned the name to be, and had set up camp in a tree. How he got from a tree to a strange man's shoulder was beyond him.

Tock's mind raced. He didn't know the creature's intentions and he had a bad feeling that he did not want to find out at all.Tock was not held at all. He was merely laying belly first on the man's shoulder. Perhaps the creature meant take him as a pet rather than a prisoner, which meant little difference to Tock. Tock could tell the creature was muscular by what he could feel of the creatures shoulder. If Tock had known a bit more of the creature he would know the foul beast to be a troll.

Tock gathered his courage. There were only two things he could do, attempt to escape or allow the creature to carry him about. tock had no intention of doing the later. Tock darted off the troll's arm as quickly as his small red wings could carry him. Light immediately ushered forth from his pom-pom and revealed that he he was trapped underground. tcok was unsure of how far down underground he was, but he knew there was little hope he would make it back to the surface on his own. Tock's captor seemed to take his escape well for a few moments, but after two or three seconds the troll realized that the lightweight had left his shoulder, he chased after Tock yelling at him in a langue unknown to Tock. Tock's spirited flight seemed match by the Troll's speed, but the troll was gainng on tock. "Help!" Tock cried out as he approached the elf still unseen in the darkness.

Mowen - January 5, 2005 03:11 AM (GMT)
Mowen was not looking for beauty or the fabled treasure that was told to lay at the end of one of the many tunnels as he made him way rather confidentially through the Intertwining Tunnels. Sighing heavily bored with the tunnels already after only a few moments of walking. Mowen begin to hear something... was some huge humanoid walking, his step was heard by the echo. He examined the long dark tunnel upon his right and continued down the long dark tunnel.

Now Mowen saw a strange creature flying in his directions crying and calling for help and behind the little creature he saw the troll... “May the wind born in this darkness place and the mist be borne like a god!” Mowen whispered and suddenly an obscurity mist appeared in the tunnel, Mowen had created a great cloud of mist obscuring the vision of the creatures in the tunnel! Mowen jumped over the strange creature and attacked the troll with his Elvish Saber wounding the right leg of the troll... than he run holding the hand of the strange creature. They run for 30 minutes...

“Ok he will not catch us anymore we are far from there....” Mowen looks to the strange creature “I think we are lost! Are you ok?” Mowen waited for his answer.

Tock - January 6, 2005 05:38 PM (GMT)
Tock stared in wonder when he heard the incatation and saw the elven figure appear in the distance. Perhaps miracles did happen. This certainly was as much proof as he needed to think so. The mist came as a great surpise, he didn’t expect such a spell to be cast, though he had heard the incantation. Perhaps he thought that the creature that chase Tock relied on it’s sense of sight most unlike most creatures of darkness.

As the mist spread, Tock’s vision once again failed him. He could not see where he was going. He would soon run into a wall of the tnnel if he kept going and if if slowed down or landed there was a chance the Troll could still get him and that was not a risk he was willing to take. Before he could think much on his options he heard a lound cry from the troll and was seconds later plucked from the air. Tock did not find it difficult flying to keep up with the elf who gripped his hand. He would have flown faster without him.

The elf seemed to have ran forever. Tocks wings were sore for flying so fast for so long. Tock was greatful when they stopped, but his hopes once again dropped when Mowen reminded of the fact that he was indeed lost, again. It was disheartening to hear that this man was in the same boat as himself. Perhaps the man was not here voluntarily either. Tock took a few moments to regain his breath. “I’m okay,” Tock said breathing heavily.

Mowen - January 7, 2005 10:22 AM (GMT)
Mowen after running through tunnels at great speed it was good to know that the little creature was ok! "I am happy to hear that." Mowen look to the tunnels that they may choose to continue walking!
Mowen sit down for a while and asked, "What type of creature are you? You seem to be a rare race!" Mowen was curious to know the name of that race that he saved. Mowen looks to his eyes and present himself to the creature doing a gesture of courtesy with his right hand "I am Mowen an High-Elf! I would like to know your name too! If you don’t mind of course." And Mowen does a smile...
"I am here looking for a bandit that i already found and killed, i am a bounty hunter. But plz don't be afraid i am a good person i just have to gain gold with my skills and talents that this life give it to me." Mowen looks to the creature once again with a curious eyes "And you, what were you doing here in the hand of a big and stinky troll?" Mowen waited impatient his answers!

Tock - January 7, 2005 04:23 PM (GMT)
Tock was amazed that the man had caught his breath so quickly. Perhaps it was not as much work on him as it was for poor Tock. Afterall stretching out a a long legged seemed easier than beating small wings raidly. Mowen sat down and was basicallly at eye-level with Tock. Whatever his motive was, Tock was grateful. It was annoying to crane his neck up to look at the tall people of this world. Tock's hands rested upon his knees as he regained his breath. His breath was still heavy, but steadily growing softer. Tock listened to the man's words The man seemed slighty impateint. Tock noticed that the High elf had extended his hand and was waiting for Tock to shake it. Tock straightened himself and extended his small right hand to meet Moowen's. "I am Tock. I don't mind your asking. I am a Moogle," Tock replied as he tried to shake the man's large hand.

Tock did not like the sound of Mowen's job. He said he was a good man who merely wish to get gold for his skills. Tock didn't like the idea himself. What if the man with the bounty on his head was innocent? To kill him him without knowing the truth just didn't seem right, but Tock kept such thoughts to himself. The man had afterall saved him, though there was still the possiblity that he had set this all up in the first place.

Tock was rather annoyed with Mowen's question, but he tried to show it neither on his face or in his voice. "I don't know. I just woke up and found I was on his shoulder rather than where I had slept," tock answered truthfully.

Mowen - January 9, 2005 12:16 AM (GMT)
Mowen stayed calm, his heart was beating normally now! Hearing that things were good, that the small creature was nice. "Now that we know our names do you know what to do? Any suggestions Tock?" Mowen waited for his answer he seemed to be an intelligent Moogle.

After sitting down and had the conversation with Tock he had a bad feeling a strange wind cross the tunnels... "The wins are with bad porpoise... something will happen!" Mowen whispered!
Mowen gets up quickly because he begin to hear steps... "I am hearing steps! *Ssshh*" Mowen closed his eyes to concentrate "It's not for that ugly Troll, you can relax." And Mowen do a smile "But it seems to be more than one person... it seems to be a large group!" Mowen looks to Tock and said "We may hide and prepare ourselves for anything that can appear!" Mowen waited for Tock's answer

Tock - January 10, 2005 05:47 PM (GMT)
How could he expect one who was dragged underground unconscious to know what to do? By the sound of things it seemed as though Mowen should know a way out. Sure they ahd just run a good ways away from where he was but there was a chance they could find their way back safely. It seemed strange that a bounty hunter would so go into an unfamiliar area to do his buissness without familurizing himself with the area enough to find an exit.

Tock was truely not happy to feel the strange winds. Unless they were very near the surface they shouldn't be feeling winds at all. Listened to the footsteps after Mowen spoke of them. It was indeed a group or perhaps a fool creature with multiple legs. What ever it was it didn't sound to inviting. Reluctantly Tock dissmessed his spell and the light of his pom-pom faded to nothingness. Once again he was swallowed by the darkness. "Where can we hide in this tunnel?" Tock whispered.

Mowen - January 10, 2005 09:19 PM (GMT)
Oh how he hated those treks through the seemingly endless caverns, and corridors, and tunnels, and caved that led to the different areas of the underdark cities. And now he is lost *crap i should had a map of this tunnels...* Mowen thought... He knows that this wind it's not from the outside but some energy that makes the movement of the air or creation of the air!
"Let's see we don't have much time to hide in here, or we run or wait for our destiny! What you choose Tock?" Mowen was ready to fight or to flee he give the decision to his small companion in those tunnels... "We don't have much time just hurry up Tock!" Mowen insisted. They may have a quick answer ot them destiny will bring the unknown creatures that was walking in them direction... A light was appearing from the tunnel from the steps noises was coming "Well i am happy to know that it's not some monster... i think! A giant spider wouldn't have light i hope!" Mowen whispered.

Tock - January 11, 2005 12:19 AM (GMT)
Why was this person asking him for advice? Mowen's guess was as good as any and sure as good if not better than Tock's. The could run, but that would truly do them no good. Tock could not fly again at a fast rate. He would need to rest his wings more after a flight like the one he had only minutes ago. He could not run to well with his short legs and doubted Mowen would be one to like the idea of carrying him. Even if the did get away it would do them little good. They would still be lost, without food and without water. There was a light visible now. Who ever was com ing this way was likely their best and only way out. After taking a deep breath he recast his spell. His pom-pom once again began to usher forth light as he stared to walk towards the other light. He hoped he was not was again making the wrong descion. "Let's find out if they know a way out," Tock suggested.

Mowen - January 12, 2005 09:26 PM (GMT)
Mowen waited for his answer... and when watch Tock walking with his shiny pom pom suggestion to us ask the unknown creatures walking in them direction the way out! Well Mowen respected his decision and walked side a side with Tock "I hope not to find more trouble friend" And he does a small smile to Tock "Well prepare your self for everything that can happen to us! They can be just a simple good persons or assassins or some sort of monsters!" Mowen put his left hand opened concentrating some focus to do some spell if necessary and with the right hand he approached it to his sword. They were just ready to see the unknown creatures just face to face, "Here we go!" Mowen whispered they cross the final step and there they was... the light had joined just to a simple aura. Mowen looked to them and saw tree ugly orcs and one human with a black cape behind him, *he must be a necromancer* Mowen thought. Mowen looks to the necromancer and said “We are not looking for battle! You are just so surprised like us!”

Tock - January 15, 2005 02:00 AM (GMT)
He said he hoped not to find more trouble, but that was of course something garanteed if they fled. There was at least hope here that troubles could be aleiviated. A momster was unlikly to be found with a light though Tock didn't exactly know what to expect from this dismal place. Assassins would likely not be a problem as Tock was not known welll enough here to be on any hitlist. Tock was surpised when his eyes prceived three large orcs and a human. The human seemed undoubtedly the leader of the group. Tock did his best to suppress his fear, but he could not help but tremble slightly before the dark looking party before him. Tock mustered his courage and brought words to his mouth. " We mean no harm sirs. We are merely lost. Do you by chance know of a way to the surface?" Tock said hoping that these creatures were more peaceful than they seemed.
