Olath stood quietly in the middle of the Cathedral, once again leaning on his staff. He had no real limp. It was just a guise to trhow his enemies off. But as the day grew older, he began leaning on the staff to rest his legs. Olath came to this ancient place to meet someone he hadn't seen in over a century. This person was malicious in behavior, and his appearence would most-likely scare small children. But so fat, Olath had seen no sign of him. As the sun finally fell into the horizon, Olath grew impatient of waiting.
"Death is usually not one to be late..." He stated to himself, looking around for the shadowy figure. Olath started walking around in circles, gazing at the ruins that surrounded him. His curiosity of how this place met its end always plagued him, and that he wished that it was he who destroyed it, but sadly, this was not true.
Olath had not realized it, but day had turned to night while he had been thinking about the city, and the stars filled the sky. "Anytime now..." Olath mumbled to himself.

Death walked unseen through the shadows, his foul mood seeming to drive off anything that might have been in the area. His scythe had been destroyed, and he had fled the region. All because of one group of mages, he had been forced out of the realm he had stayed at for so long. The cowards, they wouldn't have dared to face him one on one, they had attacked him all at once. Still, it had taken everything they had merely to break his scythe, but that was all he had. He couldn't stay, the mages would regain their strength, and then come after him again. At it would take to long to reforge his scythe. Barging up to the cathedral, he thrust the doors back, making one fall off of it's hinges. He was greated by the sight of Olath standing in the middle of the room. Death walked up to him, trying to hold his anger back so that he didn't strike at one of his old aquaintences. He waited for Olath to speak, wondering why he had summoned Death to this realm.

Olath's gaze was immediatley turned to the doorway in which he had used to get into this place. His eyes were fixed on Death, who seemed to be angered. Olath didn't want to fight him, so he'd get right to the point of calling for Death. "I wish to start up the Alliance again." Olath stated, in a deep raspy voice. As he waited for a response, and looked at Death, to see if anything bout him had changed, but the only considerable change was that his scythe was missing. Olath could assume it had part of what Death was angered about, so he decided to not talk on that subject.

Death's anger was temporarily forgotten when Olath spoke, intrigued with the idea of bringing back the alliance. They would need to bring the other riders to this realm, but that was a minor detail. One that could easily be remedied by a spell or two. "So that was why you called me here. I am impressed. I had thought the guild dispersed, it seems you are more stubborn than I thought." Death looked around, paying attention to his surroundings for the first time. It would be worth the trouble it brought to bring back the alliance. Even if it would cost a fortune to rebuild all the guildhalls that they had. Still, the cost wasn't important, and could be fixed easily. "How do you plan on starting this operation?"
Famine - December 24, 2004 07:13 AM (GMT)
"I have not yet fixed out all the details, but here is how I'd assume it would work. First we either find the other two riders, then find some strong warriors and mages dedicated to taht cause, after that we rebuild the halls." Olath stated. He had just now thought of what he'd do. Olath hadn't had much time to really plan anything out, but if things were to work out, thats how it would happen. "We might want to find some strong warriors first though. If some were to discover our plans, the might try to impose on our plans. If we had warriors, we would be able to ward off any attack. We may be strong, but we are only two in number." Olath stated.

Death thought about what Olath had said, so far, it seemed like a good plan. When Olath mentioned on ly the two of them, his thoughts returned to his scythe. "Yes, we are only two beings, and me with half my strength gone. All because of those stupid cowardly mages. To afraid to fight me one on one. They somehow managed to bring together enough force to destroy my scythe!" Death stalked back and forth in front of Olath, his bad mood returning now that his mind was back on his scythe. "Itis a fine plan, but I will not be able to help much right now, I need a new weapon, and lack the funds required to rebuild my guild." Death's mood continued to plummet, now that he thought about all that would be needed for Olath's plan to work.
Famine - December 24, 2004 07:30 AM (GMT)
"True, it may take a while to gather the resources for the plan to work, but are we not arleady dead? We have an entire afterlife to make this happen. And by the time we are finished with this place, we will have left our mark." Olath said. He watched as Death paced back and forth. It was true, Death wouldn't be able to do much without his scythe. The harvester without his tool. Now that Olath thought about it, he had no real weapon either. But over his journey here, he had acuired a small amount of gold. Nearly enough to buy what he needed. "All I ask of you is patience. The Alliance will return soon enough..." Olath said to Death.

"Yes you are right, but we should do it quickly, before the gods can take notice." Death stood still, thinking about the possibilities if the alliance was back. They could destroy the other guilds, and take over the land. Although he was unsure how the gods and goddesses would act. How much would they take before striking back. "We must be careful though, the dieties on this realm might not give us enough leeway to implement our plan." Death continued thinking about how they could do what they had planned. It was indeed a predicament, but one that was easily worth solving if it meant the return of the Horsemen. "Ok, we will need two things. Gold, and followers to help rebuild our guilds."
Famine - December 24, 2004 05:04 PM (GMT)
Olath had forgotten about the gods and goddesses. But by the time the guild was rebuilt, it should be too late. "Alright, I suppose it would be best we split up, and either look for the other two, or find warriors and mages that can help us." He said to Death. "Alright, then. If everything is settled, I shall take my leave, and get to the task at hand." Olath added, turning. He started walking away, out of the Cathedral.
