A few nights ago Zero had told Anya to meet up with him at Cascadia, Though he wasnt sure if she would show as he waited anxiously and time seemed to pass by quick in his mind. He waited and waited anxiously for her at the waterfall, but still, she didnt show. Zero began to worry that she wouldnt show and he was about to leave. Thoughts ran through his head, Maybe she got kidnapped, what if she didnt care anymore, No, dont think like that, very bad,....thoughts. Zero didnt want to think negative and decided to leave. He took a few steps away from where he stood already leaving, untill he heard a familiar voice shout......

Anya was flying fast towards the waterfall, she had forgotten about this meeting, she saw Zero walking away and shouted down to him turning her head and not looking where she was going. ZERO WAIT, I- She meant to say more then that but was cut off when she ran into the water fall. When she hit the pool of water beneath it she struggled her way to the surface, and ran up to him. I'm sorry I'm late, its just that...well, I sort of...umm...forgot this morning...I rushed here as fast as I could, I'm sorry to keep you waiting. She hugged him as she appologized.

Zero turned to look that it was Anya who had been rushing towards him, he saw her hit the waterfall and Zero sprinted in a fast pace and as she came through he saw her running towards him. Zero hugged her as well as they ran towards each other. Anya then explained the situation, Hey, its ok. Im not mad or anything. Though I did get bored and I was heading off to take a rest somewhere. Anyway, ....how are you doing? Zero was really eager to see her again and held her even longer.
Hey are you ok? Did you hurt yourself when you hit the fall?

Anya smiled she was happy that he wasn't mad and she shook her head. No, just a scratch or two, nothing to worry about, its just water. She smiled and laughed. The first rule of flying: Always watch where your going, or else you run into things. She laughed as she hugged Zero. I'm fine, how are you? She was still smiling and hugging him.

Zero laughed and giggled a little with her. Yeah, your right, hah! Zero put a smile on his face and then looked through the waterfall, there was a cave of some sort. That would be the spot where he would take Anya later on. Im fine as well, In fact Im really stoked for you coming, and seeing you agian Zero had somthing for her later on, thats where he would be taking Anya as well.

Anya smiled. Thats nice to hear. She nodded and was still smiling she liked spending time with him and she liked knowing that he did as well. She hugged herself in clsoer to him. What do you want to do now? She knew there was another reason that she had been asked to come here, but she didn't know what it was.

He noticed her hugging him deeper into him, this was nice. Zero kept the tought in his mind as it was the only thing that came to him. He was already getting excited and couldnt wait much longer. But he had to be very patient abouth this.
Well, ....you see, I have a little somthing for you. Umm.. later on, and there is this place also. You see the waterfall? You see through the waterfall as you can tell there is a little space there, I wanna go in there with you, I have a gift for you.
Zero then wondered how she would respond to this as well as react.
The water seemed nice and clear, shiny. Today was the day he could share somthing special with her.

Anya's smile brightened, and she leaned up to kiss him on the cheek. You know its not just gifts that make a girl fall for you. She smiled and laid her head on his shoulder and waited patiently for him to speak again.

Zero looked at her with both his eyebrows up and his lips spread apart from each other. Yeah, of course Zero knew this, but this was somthing special. He then got the feeling that......well...he couldnt quite put in his brain, it was complicated yes, but some how found a way around this. Ummm...... Zero then looked down to the pocket he had her gift in. Yeah, I know but...... Zero had been almost speechless. .... This is-well I guess you have no idea what I have then huh? He put a smile on his face and tried to hard to not let it fade from his face. His green eyes then looked straight into hers. In a while they would be going to his destination.

Anya laughed a little. Your right I don't have a clue, I'm not a mind reader and I can't see through things. She looked into his eyes and placed a hand on his cheek, and spoke softly. But I'm sure that whatever it is I'll love it. She was still smiling.

Great, Zero loved great. He then felt her hand on his cheek, nice! Hey thanks, Im sure you'll like as well, hah hah! Zero laughed somewhat to what she said earlier. That she wasnt a mind reader, that one caught Zero into a little laughter. Zero was almost quite ready, but still needed a little more time, maybe 'till the sun sets. Yes, that was a great time, 'till the sunsets. He would then start a conversation with her after he gave her the gift he had in his pocket. Hey the sun is about to set, do you wanna go inside that waterfall? I thought that maybe sunset would be a good time.
Zero then waited for an answer.

Anya was still smiling and she nodded to him, she wnted to know what it was. Sounds good to me. She turned to the waterfall, btu then turned back around to grab Zero's hand to walk with him.

Zero was unaware that she had pulled his hand with force, Zero then was dragged towards her WHOA! Hey whats the rush Anya. Zero then laughed a little and headed to the spot he wanted to take her. But it seemed as if she was taking him instead. Once they got there Zero sat down with her against the wall. Well, heh heh... are you ready? Zero then reached into his pocket, and then stopped to see the look on Anya's face. Zero then smiled and tilted his head slanted downwards, and had his finger pointed at Anya, Hah hah heh heh....... You thought I was actually going to give it to you just right now huh? Just hold on ok. Zero then took his hand out of his pocket but didnt have the gift in his hand as he left it in the pocket.
He then waited to see how she would react to this.

Anya shook her head. That was a good one... She laughed and sighed. Whatever he was playing at she would wait patiently for whatever he had planed.

Zero then put his arm around the back of her neck and left the rest of his arm hanging from Anya's shoulder. Ok, look. Zero then put his hand in his pocket and grabbed the special gift, he then pulled out his hand and there he had on his palm a golden lovers ring. Here it is. Zero then grabbed her hand and slipped the ring on her ring finger. The ring was nice and golden and had a little diamond in the center of it. Zero's smile then extended even more and his heart pounding, racing through every second of this moment. He would wait to see Anya's expression on her face and how she responded to this. I hope you like it Anya

Anya's jaw dropped and she tired to talk but couldn't find any words to say. She wrapped her arms around Zero, and found her voice. Its...its beautiful. She hugged herself deep into him.

He felt Anya hugging him tightly and with more affection than before. Zero hugged her back and that he was really glad that she liked it. Though he did find her speechless, somewhat. Hey Im really glad you like it. I had been planning this day since the last time we were together. Zero was really happy and that he felt good about Anya liking his gift to her. Thats all that was on his mind was him and her together. The sun seemed to fade away from where they were at and night came by. The waterfall was still there making this a beautiful scene.

Anya smiled and wrapped her arms around Zero, the smile faded as she felt a few little bumps, maybe scars. She hugged him tighter, What happened to give those to you... She thought to herself as she burried her head into his shoulder.

Zero then wondered if she felt the scars popping out of him. He didnt want her to really find out what happened to him in his childhood, but he felt safe to say that he could talk to her about this. Hey uhhh....Anya, I was curious, how was your childhood life like with Layila in you? He was curious but then wanted to start a conversation that lead to their pasts with her, she was the right person to talk to about this.

Anya thought for a moment. Well it wasn't very pleasant...She killed our mother, and the village at age 5, she then went on to completly destroy about 20 other villages, she burned most of them, and gutted the people of the villages. She's been burning things down, not just villages, she's burned down, forests, and fields... She even sparked a war in one land... So basically she killed every one and everything in her path... The smile that had been on her face faded and fell into a frown. I didn't really realize it, but I've watched so much death, and destruction, and blood fall from the innocent, it makes me sick to say that I'm related to Layila... She hugged him tighter, but slowly pulled herself out of his arms. And you, what was your past like? She was a little curious about this, and she felt that it was only fair that he tell her.

Zero wanted exactly to share this conversation with her and that she was the right person.He would gladly tell her about his past. Well....... ummm.... your really the first person I feel comfortable talking about this conflict I had with my parents. Well the thing is that all I can remember from childhood was that my father used to punish me very badly and I cant really remember what wrong doings I did. I always thought that he was jelous of me and my mother. But he would always grab me by the hair and take me to my room and toss me on the floor roughly, it was bad and painfull. He ha-........ Zero then stood silent for a while and looked straight into Anya's eyes. Maybe she wanted to hear more about this. Then somthing came to Zero, he began to feel very awkward, though he didnt want to tell her because he didnt want to ruin his date with her. He had this deep feeling inside him that he wasnt going to make it. Though he could go on a little more, he hid this feeling from Anya and waited till she spoke back to Zero. Hopefully she wanted to hear the rest of his past.

Anya's eyes were soft and attentive, sensitive to his words. I never knew my father, he ran away from our village...but I suppose, that maybe he had a reason, parhaps he would have treated us differant...I'm sorry to hear that you had such a tough time, what hapened? After this she waited to hear the rest of his story, and maybe share more about her own life.

As Zero stopped his conversation with no explanation to it, he heard Anya speak and let her talk, he listened and waited patiently for his turn. He replied back saying, "Well I hated my father, I hated him so much I wished that he would have died by either me or my mother. Its hard to explain how he was he was just bad tempered and always in bad moods every single day. I hated it, my mother hated it." Zero then looked at her and held her wanting her more closer.

Now as for Zero's mother he could care less. His mother never paid attention cause, well, Zero never really knew why she never even bothered to pay any attention to him. He never got to find out much about his heritage and what his race was, except the only thing about his race, he knew he was human. But there was somthing else as well, somthing he didnt know about. Eventually he would find out more as he spoke to Anya.

"And my mom, well I could care less about her, lets just say that. Just like you say your father was never around, well the same went with my mom. She was so irresponsible and not worthy, she never acheived any goals. So my mom... I dont know much about. I really dont know my heritage as well either. And for my race, well of course Im nothing but just a human. I never really got know much about my family and all this other information that is needed to known. I guess the reason why this is, is because I ran away from home on my 15th birthday. Though when I ran home, I found out that my parents worried about me and wished that I had come back, but... those are just rumors you hear, dont really know if they are true or not."

Zero then, as he was seated on the ground hugging Anya, he started to feel even more wierd deep inside though he kept hiding this feeling from Anya still. He then stood silent for a while and waited to see if Anya had anything to say. It was her turn to talk and Zero didnt want to take her time away from her. Zero would then show her the scars on his back and chest after she finished her turn talking, though they were only a few scars on him they were still clearly visible.

Thats horrible... Anya looked to the ground. Not knkowing about your family's past, similar is mine, my mother was talking to me when I was younger about our past, but shortly after she began, Layila killed her... Now she seeks our father, to slaughter him as well, when he is the only link to our past that we have... She stood and sighed, she then smiled. But its ok, because what's in the past is done and gone, and we can't change it! And I'm going to kill Layila befor she has a chance to kill our father! She seemed bright and chipper but she was hiding an inner lying of regret and sadness, something felt uneasy in the cave and she knew that it might be Zero.

Are you feeling alright? She took a few steps towards him and kneeled beside him. She waited for his answer.

Zero heard her side of the past as well. It was bad, awful. Anya couldnt just let Layila get away with so much that she has done already. And Anya had been right all the way. The past is the past and start worrying more about the future. He then began to feel a little shaky, he tried to stop but it kept constanly going, it wasnt noticable just yet anyways. "Hey your right. The past is gone and done. I think we need to worry about what comes for us in the future, dont you think. I mean, hah. Your not just going to stand there and watch Layila destroy more and kill others. We better make sure that your father stays alive then huh?" Though Zero was not the one to trust parents with all the hell he had gone through with his parents.

He then noticed to see that Anya came to his side and kneeled. Zero wondered if she knew how he was feeling in the inside. He didnt want her to get angry at him for not saying anything. He decided to say that he was fine for now. "Yeah, Im ok. Why do you ask that?" He felt a little bad for lying to her, and didnt want to lie to her again because every time he did, he felt worse by every passing second. Though Zero tried to hard to hide his feelings right now, he began to feel even more shaky. Drops of sweat dropped straight down from his forehead. Zero then wiped the sweat off with his hand. It felt as if he began to have a fever, a fever that soon might get a little rapid.

"Hey Anya I want to show you somthing. Its something that only you might have seen, but I am aware others have not seen these scars on me." Zero then slipped off his shirt over his head. The scars were clearly visible. He had around four of them on his chest and three on his back. " What you are seeing is the scars from childhood. I have around three on my back. The scars werent big at all, they were just visible and mainly anyone could notice it. He then turned around to show her the scars on his back. He wasnt quite sure how she would react to this. She was basically the only person he could share such things with. "I thought I'd show you, because to tell you the truth, your the only person I feel really comfortable with, letting you see these things."

Zero felt like going to the waterfall that they remained behind to cool himself off as the sweat came once more and the fever seemed to get a little mild for him. "Hey Anya Im going over to the waterfall to cool myself off." He then stood up and headed to the water to cool down. When he had gotten there, it felt nice and cold. He had been shaky but part of it was because the water had been a little chilly.
It had already been time for him to go back as he had already been soaked. He would then dry himself throughly with his cloak. He started from his drenched hair and dried all the way down. When he was now completely dry, he sat next to Anya feeling a little better now. Though he did decide to let her know the truth, "Look Anya, Im very sorry for not telling you, but I have not been feeling good. Im sorry, I have been feeling shaky. I have got this feeling that somthing might happen to me. When I tell you to stand back, please do so. Im sorry."
He had apologized to her and hoped that she was not angry with him.
He then waited to see if she had anything to say or do to him. Still not feeling allright.

Anya placed a hand on his cheek, and sighed. You never noticed anything strange about your mother, or even your father? She had a good idea of what might be happening, but couldn't be sure. Her eyes were soft and sympathetic, if she was right about what was happening then she knew how he felt. She kissed his cheek, and ran her fingures through his hair, Don't worry you'll be alright. She was sincer and her voice was almost as soft as her eyes.

Zero felt her fingers run through his hair.Her fingers seemed to be cold as they ran through his hair but it was just him, as his forehead was really warm from a fever that would take place. He would answer her question but it wouldnt be quite clear because Zero wasnt really around that much to notice anything strange about his parents. It was really wierd for him though, he was always mistreated and mislead to dangerous things. His eyes were now almost closed and could feel some water still there, dropping down his cheeks. Though it wasnt sweat because that had gone away a little. His hair had been almost dried but still a little wet. His eyes then opened to see Anya straight in hers.

"I was never around too long for me to know much about my parents. They werent really the kind that was always there for me when I needed them. And when I asked for help, I would get nothing but fabricated lies. And as for the strangeness....all I can say is that the only thing strange about them was that they didnt provide care, nor love for me. They could care less about me and what ever could happen. It was like I was on my own, I dont see how I managed to survive like this."

Zero felt like she knew somthing. Somthing that he didnt. Was it somthing about him that he himself didnt know about, and that he needed to know. He would remain silent about this untill she would have mentioned somthing. She then told him that he would be alright. But what did this mean for Zero? He didnt have time to ask as his back now began to ache and put him in a pain that he had never before witnessed. He then thanked her before he let out a yelp of pain that came from his back. It was as if somthing wanted to come out but Zero wouldnt let it. "AAHHH! OWW! HELP!" Zero then breathing very hard trying to shake this off but the pain wouldnt go. He then got to his knees and then fell forward letting his body collapse on the ground wiith his face hitting the hard ground. Tears then began to come from the edge of his eyes letting them drip to the ground.

He then waited now for Anya to help him out. He was unaware what to do now in these situations. He never felt so much pain before as his back continuously ached. He remained on the ground untill Anya was do somthing.

Anya was sad that she was right. She fell down to her knees and saw what was coming out of his back. Zero clam down, don't sturrgle, and relax. She wrapped an arm over his shoulders keeping him to the ground so he wouldn't thrash around and hurt himself.

He then felt Anya hold him down and then Zero wondered, why would she do such a thing. She seemed like she knew what had happened to him. But Zero kept trying to let himself loose from Anya's grasp. He tried to fight both the pain and trying to let himself loose. But all else failed and Zero could do nothing but let himself go through this. His back began to rip and blood seemed to spread through out his back. Zero was in alot of pain and then said to Anya with tears coming out his eyes. "Anya what are you doing, please let me go! AHHH! HO HOUUWW!" The pain was still there and then Zero felt somthing come out his back somthing soft that tickled his back a little. But he could still feel the blood dripping.

Zero didnt know how to handle this much pain, but he was at least glad to know that Anya was with him all the way through the process. He didnt relize it but white feathery wings came out his back. Though they were bloody and then dripped on his back. Hopfully Anya would release him, so that he would know what came out of his back. He reached to his back and felt that the skin ripped his back even more as somthing came out even more. He laid there with cold tears coming out his eyes, this was very painful and when he brung his hand back he noticed that his hand was covered in blood.

Then what had come out of his back, it seemed as if they were body parts that he would be able to control. He brought what came out his back towards the front of him to notice that white feathered wings came forth. Zero was shocked at what shocked at what he had seen. He had no idea that he was part of an angel race. He was no somwhat like Anya. The blood still there Zero didnt know what to do but to tell Anya, "Anya whats happened to me? why do I now have wings? Please tell me." His tears began to dry up on his face, felt that Anya was going to release him. He then waited for anything she had to say.

ANya released Zero and sighed. Well you see, half angels well we aren't born with our wings, its seen as a punisment for sins crated by the angel race. So when the wings are matured, this can take weeks after birth, or years, depending on the person, they sprout out of their back. She looked at the ground as she put a hand on his cheek and wipped away his tears. I know what your feeling, I went through this when I was six...Its not fun when your younger and you have absolutly no one around...To leave to go and play in the forest and go through this, and come back with wings, and pain that no one else there could understand, to be scared and have no one to help you. To have no one understand. She sighed as she waited for his reply to this.

Still in pain he tried very hard to shake this off. He sat up but couldnt quite get the position as he was still very weak from what had happened to him. It was very surprising to see what had happened to him, very unexpected and unbelievable. Zero had no idea that he was part angel and part human. Strange really, Anya seemed to know the whole time and didnt say a word to Zero. He wasnt sure which one of his parents were angel and which one was human, both were careless about their son. Zero struggled getting up, though he had been to weak to do so.

Zero had asked her what had happened to him and why he had these wings now attached to him. Zero didnt mind being an angel though, its just the fact that he went through so much pain and still was. He decided to remain on the ground and to answer back her explanation to this. "6? You went through this when you were 6? Well your very lucky because at least you went through this with some one. Layila. And me, I had to go through this by myself at such an age. Im very late arent I." Still in pain he tried not to complain much because at least he got something good in life finally but he had to go through pain for this.

Zero would then eventually have to get up and wash out the blood off his wings or else the blood would dry and stick there. He tried to pull himself up and did so by grabbing his sheath and drew his angelic sword out, he then stabbed it into the ground and forced his body up. He got up but almost fell back down, he caught his balance though and then began to walk over to the waterfall, limping just a little.
He then turned his head to Anya, "Anya, Im going back to the water and wash my self off. Just to let you know. Im not really feeling any good, Im going to rest when I finish." Zero then headed toward the waterfall walking with a slight limp.

ANya helped him stand. I had no one to help me, not even Layila was there, she came and took over after that, but only a few days... She looked sympathetic as she helped him walk towards the water. One more thing you should know, some times the wings can be temperary, or perminant. You could have them for years and then loose them for a little while, and grow them back perminant. She then thought of her own wings, she felt a little conciencous(sp?) about them, she could make them fall off, and then regrow them without a second thought or pain. This made her wonder, but she kept her thoughts to herself.

She forced a smile on her face, and shook her head. No, your not late, there is no such thing as late when it comes to this sort of thing. It all depends on the person, and the way they grow, and how close they are to their kin. There was one more reason, but my mother died befor she could tell it to me. The smile faded but she tried to stay cheerful by his side.

You aren't going near water without me, your weakened, and if you fall whos to say you could get back up? She worried about him now, all this blood and pain, and a sence of not knowing, and unsureness, she felt bad for him.

How would you like it if I tought you how to fly when you feel better? She knew how it felt to have some thing new that you didn't really know how to use, it had taken her a couple of years to get used to her own wings, but now she could fly almost flawlessly. She saw the water in the small pool as they aproched, she ripped off one of her sleeves and wet it. This might sting... She gentilly touched the wet cloth to his back at the base of his newly grown wings, knowing that it would sting, but it was only a little pain, almost nothing compared to growing the wings. She sighed as she did this, and remembered her own mothers gentil touch when she had help Anya. She began to hum a soft tune, a happy little tune, though it was a little slow.

Zero would eventually feel sore the next day as he thought while he heard Anya at the same time. He listened to her every words she said about his wings becoming permanent or not. Zero would hope to have his wngs permanant, he didnt want them to last a while and then grow them back painfully. "Hey you must know alot huh? Did you learn this yourself?" Zero felt that she knew alot about this and kept listening untill she got to the part of her mother dying, thats when Zero noticed her smile fade from her face. If there was anything he could do now, he would have done it, but he coulnt since his little incedent with his wings growing out his back.

Zero then felt that Anya did feel uncomfortable and very worried about him going to the waterfall by himself. He then stopped for a moment to listen what she had to say. "Look, Anya, If you feel very uncomfortable with me going to the waterfall by myself then, I wouldnt mind if you'd come, though I do appreciate it if you did come with me to help me out." Zero did get the thought that he wouldnt manage that long in the water by himself. He would love it if Anya joined him.

But then as they approached, he noticed that they werent going into the water. He learned that they would stay near it. He then noitcied Anya rip off her sleeve, she began to wet it and massage his back as she cleaned the blood off his back. It stung Zero and made sounds of pain to let her know that it had stung. Though Anya wouldnt stop because he needed to be cleaned off. She began to hum this tune, it was a little slow but then it reminded him of somthing. Though he wasnt quite sure what it had been, must've been somthing a while back.

And as for Anya's question, he would like to learn from her only, how to fly. But first he would need a major rest before any of this happens. "Yes Anya, I would like it if you showed me to fly, only you. I feel comfortable being with you from here on out I still need to get used to my wings first." He was still in pain and the sleeve that Anya massaging his back with had stung alot more. As if all he went through that day was pain, and then if felt to him what Anya said was right. "punisment for sins crated by the angel race" Thats all that seemed to be running through his head, but why him. Why Anya, as well.

"Umm....will you be here when Im resting. Be here to watch over me. Nurture me back to health." He wanted Anya's word that she wouldn't leave and that she would stay there with him the whole time he laid there resting. He kept speaking to her wondering if she cared for anything he said to her. He never knew to expect anything like this today, at least not the part where he grew some pair of wings.
All he ever wanted was to give her a ring and spend time with her.

Anya was even more gentle then before as she heard his sounds of pain. The hum was one that her own mother hummed to Anya when her wings grew in, Anya always loved the sound of the song, it was melincholy, but also had a strand of happiness running through it.

Anya stopped the hum as she rinsed out the sleeve, and watched the blood stain the water's clearity. She listened to him talk to her. I know how it feels, to have something completly new there. You don't think that I could fly as soon as mine grew in, do you? She laughed a little as she moved quicker to clean the blood off of the white feathers. No, no, I've run into trees, and fallen out of the sky, forgotten to flap, now that one's embarassing... The glow returned as she smiled, and rinsed out the ripped sleeve, she laid it on a rock to dry.

I'm suprised that you even have to ask if I will watch over you while you rest, you should know the ansewer is yes. She made him lay down, and rubbed his back around the base of his wings. In the same tune of the hum she sang to him.

"Things as soft as a cool summer breeze
Strength enough to rise off your knees

Life returns and death will receed
Darkness fades and light will feed

Growing living as joy has returned
To life to you my joy has returned"

She hummed after this forgetting some of the words near the end. She hopped that he liked the song, it was something that her mother sang to her as a luliby and she wanted others to know its tune, its soft and joyous, melincholy tune.

Zero was pleased to hear that she would take care of him while he rested. And yes he did know that the answer from her would be an automatic "yes". He just wanted to hear it from her. Just to make him feel a little more comfortable with her. Zero tried to keep a smile on his face but he really couldnt, as the the wounds stung his back from the water that was rinsed upon his back. Though the sounds of pain went away from him as he got used to how it felt. His back and his wings begin to feel numb as it went by slowly. Nothing could be felt now.

He then listened to her and her little incedints that came to her as she said that she had some trouble flying. Zero would have to get used to his wings really good if he didnt want any of this to happen to him some time in the future. "So I guess your gonna have to teach me alot then huh! Im going to have to pay more attention to you then. Oh and just to say my back is feeling numb so I cant feel anything anymore, so I guess thats a good thing."

He then could feel just a little bit from her massaging on his back. He was glad that he had Anya to care for him and nurture him back to health. He then heard Anya hum a luluby and she then got to the point where she sang for him. This was nice for Zero to hear and that always felt really comfortable with her.
"Thats nice to hear your voice, I really like your hum and your luluby." He made good comments to her all the way. He deeply appreciated Anya for doing this. Anya was really the only person he cared about all the time and he has not felt this way ever.

While Anya sang her luluby to him he began to feel sleepy as the tune caught him.
He began to lean towards her and closed his eyes slowly and said "Anya Im going to rest now." he began to fall fast asleep. When he would awake he would then feel sore on his back and didnt want that feeling.

ANya closed her eyes half way at Zero as he leaned on her, she then leaned back onto the walls of the cave. She let him sleep, though she felt a little sleepy aswell, she closed her eyes, and didn't mean to but fell asleep too. Her happy memories flashed by in a dream, learning to fly, going to the woods when she was younger, getting her wings though it was painful, she was happy that she got them. She then opened her eyes, and yawned a little, but trying not to move so as not to disturb Zero.

My wings... The thought that she couldn't shake, had come back now. ...they may only be temperary, if I can let them fall and disappear and grow back when it suits me, then whos to say they aren't? However if they are perminant then why can I do this?...Mother would know... She looked down at Zero and shook off the thought finially and closed her eyes again to sleep.

She woke again this time outside the waterfall was dark with night, a sense of fear over whelmed her. What if they are only temerary? Will I have to go through that pain again? Will I still be used to having wings? What will happen... What had happened to Zero got her thinking about her own wings, that she had never given a second thought to before. She tried to shake the feeling of worry but she couldn't and fell back into a light sleep.

As Zero fell to sleep fast, he noticed that her perfect luluby had faded and he knew that she had fallen asleep as he felt her move into him. Zero had dreams that night, dreams of his parents, how they mistreated him and mislead him to dangerous things. Fabricated lies, he was told nearly all his life. Then in his dream his parents were up in front of his face yelling at him as the spit came out of their mouths and landed on his face. He then got this horrible vision that his mother had a samauri sword and cut through him, this is when he woke up and popped up with his eyes wide open. He tried not to disturb Anya as he saw her right next to him. He would then fall back to sleep and let this go through as the pain on his back was still there, it was reall sore.

Not knowing that Anya kept waking up several times, Zero got up a little earlier than her as the sun had not come up yet but was about to. Though he remained his position where he slept at as he couldnt move at all. He would attempt this once more and hope to get it right this time. He finally got up to his knee's and then forced his whole body up as he stood on both feet. He began to strectch and wouldnt dare to move his wings just yet. This would have put him in so much pain. He walked over to the waterfall and yawned as he would begin his day in a good mood. He could hear the birds fly and skwuak at each other in the mornings breeze.

When he finished strecthing and looking at the time of day as he glanced towards the sky, he began to walk back to Anya where she remained. Zero had taken a seat next to her and wondered when she would wake up and thought what she had going on in her head now. He knew she wouldnt wake before the sun hit the earth and gave out light. He patiently waited on her and this time he didnt grow bored.

Anya sat up and let her worries and thoughts fade away like her drowziness, she yawned and stretched letting her wings flex themselves as she sat forward. Rubbing her eyes she greeted Zero. Good morning, how are you feeling? She put a hand on his forhead to check to see if he still had a fever it had gone down drastically. She smiled, and shurgged off her worries with one thought. No matter what I know I'm not alone any more, and I never will be again, I don't care what happens. She smiled even brighter with this thought to comfort her. She looked to his back to see the condition of his wings.

Zero noticed her wake up from her sleep, Zero put a smile on his face and said, "Good morning Anya, did you sleep well?" He waited for her answer and then saw Anya's hand reach up and land on his head. She had been checking his fever and she put a smile on her face to see that he was fine. "Im feeling great, but the wings are sore and so is my back. How are you?" Zero went up to her a little closer to give her a hug as a thanks for taking care of him while he slept. "Hey thanks, I appreciate what you did. Your the greatest person in my life right now." Zero's smile seemed to extend a little longer and his eyes were looking straight into hers. He then rested his head on her shoulder while he remained hugging her.

"My wings are doing ok for now. But later on if its ok with you, though I dont know if it would be healthy to do so, but can I be able to move my wings around as I try to shake off this pain, or should I just wait patiently for them to fully recover.?" He questioned her and waited for an answer.

Anya smiled, hoping that Zero wouldn't see through it or hear the flaseness in her voice. I slpet quite well. She continued to plaster a smile on her face as he hugged her,Parhaps my worry is ill placed... She thought to herself letting her mind wander on that subject for a little while.

She looked over to the rock that had her torn sleeve on it, she sighed and tore of the other one, at least they looked the same now. I would wait until the pain goes away, because if you move them, and put stress on them while they hurt you could damage them. She didn't want Zero to have wings that he couldn't use, that would just be unethical. Though bending them a little might be good. She hadn't given much thought to this, and she did want Zero to learn to fly quickly, but she didn't want him to hurt himself. She hugged him back as he lay his head on her shoulder, and she thought about everything that was happening in her life, and all the things that happened, and all that might happen. This got her mind trailing the thought of her own wings that she was afraid wouldn't grow back so painlessly next time. What would happen then? Would I really need to go through this pain a second time? Would it be more painful then the first?...I hope not... She dismissed these particular thoughts, but knew that they would come back to her, she put another smile on her face as she sat there hugging Zero.
