Tock - December 21, 2004 05:24 PM (GMT)
With a loud snap a small white-furred moogle appeared upon a small branch of one of Gloomwood's tree's. Unable to keep balance or make use of his wings in time, Tock plumeted to the ground. tock was totally unaware of ware he was, but sure that it was not a good sign that his landing was soft and fuzzy. Tock had landed on the back of an umbra. The large umbra immediately shot out from under him, leaving Tock to fall the rest of the way to the ground. Tock quickly stood up and backed away from where he thought the creature had ran off to. Tock soon found his back against a tree. his heart pounded as he thouht of something to do. This surely must be a nightmare, though he had never had a dream so real as this. Tock whispered the words to a spell and a dim light ushered forth from his hand. It was not birght enough to peircs through the thick darkness about him. He took no comfort in the fact that the creature which he had just disturbed was growling outside of the light and easily out of veiw. Tock thought of calling for help, but was sure that none would come and the beast before him would get only more agitated.

Fayt - December 26, 2004 05:52 AM (GMT)
Fayt was just entering the city, after along trip from Taras city. Fayt looked around and could not tell were he was because it all looked the same to him, he was in a hurry to get out of here the only reason he stoped in this town was to get a night of sleep but he could not seem to find his way around. Fayt just started wondering the forst hoping to find a way out, unfourtunenitly he just found himself more lost. After about an hour of wondering Fayt saw an umbra so he stood silently hoping it would not see him, but somthing had poped out of nowere and landed on the umbra.

It backed himself into a tree and the umbra was growling at it visiousley, Fayt sheathed his sword knowing the creature needed help or else it would have already done somthing to protect it's self. " Hey stupid umbra, over here." Fayt had said to the umbra throwing a rock at it. " Do you need any help?" Fayt asked the creature that was being attacked by the umbra. Fayt held his sword to his left side to were the sharp end was facing down towards the ground, he started running at the umbra yelling " Die you stupid animal." Fayt had sliced his sword up to the right hoping to kill the animal by hitting it in the face.

(OOC: Tock you are controling th umbra so it's up to you when it comes to what it's going to do.)

Rich had been lurking in the forest for no apparent reason and had been walking around for a while, as he walked, branches that came out far from a tree seemed to be blocking the way to some voices of help. Rich had sheathed out his Masters blade and cut through as the jagged edges of the blade cut through the into the thick branches nice and rough. When the path opened he would then continue on towards his destination.

He began to rush himself to the scene of these voices of help and then he heard another voice, almost quite familiar but it didnt seem so. As he began to head there in a sprint, thick leaves seemed to stand in the way, he then slowered his pace and was almost now walking. As he was now inches from the leaves the voices grew louder and he knew that he had reached his destination. He removed the thick leaves from out of his site. There he saw an umbra offended by somthing but Rich couldnt see quite well in such an awful darkness. It must have been awfully small for the umbra to get so mad at. He saw another man aproach, he began to speak to the umbra in some way, but was awkward to Rich to hear somone speak to such an animal in that way.

He saw the man sheath his sword out and had his sword ready for an attack on the umbra. Rich had to stop the man from doing so. He quickly rushed out from where he stood and yelled in such a high pitched voice "NO STOP YOUR ATTACK!!" Rich then got closer and closer to the man as he rushed rapidly toward him. He would have to tackle him down as his sword already inches away from the umbra. Rich then made a quick dive as a last resort. His body now flying towards the man as Rich's body seemed to descend lower, hopfully he would have saved an animal and the victims life.

(Sure I'll control him. A Sheath is what you put your sword in. Sheathing your sword is putting your sword in the sheath. Unsheathing is the opposite. Also unless you can see in the dark you can't see the umbra, Fayt )

Tock closed his eyes hoping that maybe the creature would go away or he would learn that this was all just a dream. He opened them when He heard an unfamiliar voice. "Yeah, help would be nice," Tock replied to the the man. He hoped that the man's last remark was to the creature hidden in the darkness and not himself. It would have been ill if Tock had angered some one's familiar. It would be very odd, but Tock could see a possibility that the man’s words could be conveying that message.

The umbra jetted out in to the darkness, though it had no real intention of leaving. Umbras liked to attack from the back were their prey would be defenseless. The Umbra circled around the trio assessing if the two men would make them selves an easier target than the small moogle.

Tock was even more confused by the words of another man. He apparently was not pleased with the other man’s actions. Perhaps the Umbra belonged to him. Perhaps he thought that the man was attempting to attack both tock and the umbra.

Tock stood up straight and gripped his small blade. “Can either of you tell me where in the world I am?” Tock asked curiously. Unsure of whether the threat of the Umbra was past.
