Don't be roughthousing now, you hear? Shynthriir shouted at the group of young little kids that he taught twice a week at the acadamy. They always tired him out a lot, why wouldn't a group of hyped up little kids do such a thing to a person. They always seemed inpreessed with his fighting, though they were also impressed by a lizard, so it didn't mean much, it was only the pay that kept him going to teach the little ones, he only wished one of the other teachers at the acadamy had taken the offer. He was walking back to the main campus when he heard someone calling him name.

Matari landed behind Shynthriir, grinning from ear to ear. "How are your students doing today?" His wings folded to his back, and his grin widened. "You really messed up...actually teaching them!"

His red eyes glittered. "Why not just send them out to the arena to train? It's much simpler. Besides," His eyes flickered over the students. "If you bet on the strongest, you can get some easy cash..."

Or, Shynthriir started to saw, a gleam in his eye, Become the strongest and the money will come to you. It was an old saying among the drow, one that even he, one that resented his race, could appriciate for it was as true as the sky is blue.

"Hm...I suppose that works too, though...I see no reason to fight someone unless they're in a postion that you know you can win in, or have a good chance of winning in." Matari shrugged, his feathered wings stretching flapping slightly as he did so.

Shynthriir always seemed to have something to reply with in conversations such as this one, though he thought it quite silly to continue on with it. Anyway, what have you been doing all day here at the acadamy? Then, almost as an after thought, he added, Oh, and my name's Shynthriir in case you don't know already. I am relatively knew here and I don't know all the other instructors, might you tell me yours?
