Title: Running Free

Finduilas - December 10, 2004 12:41 AM (GMT)
In the form of a snow white wolf with bright green eyes, Finduilas ran freely through the crisp winter night. The stars above glowed liked watching eyes from the blank blanket of the heavens as the yellow moon showered its light upon her lone form.

Howling into the night with glee the wolf, sang to the night calling friends to join her in song. She was the happiest she had been in a very long time. The night was young and she wished to share the feeling of utter happiness with another. Who though she did not know.

Continuing to sing her song of joys to the heavens above, the lone wolf ran through the brittle brown grass of the Debon Plains now and then snapping at the heals of a young cow or sheep who had gotten lost.

Nightgazer - December 10, 2004 12:52 AM (GMT)
Meera stood peacefully in the cold winter's snow. Her breath puffed out in gray steam as she breathed softly just fully embracing the emptieness of the snow-covered plains on this clear winter's night. Her spirits were lifted high as she listened to the melodious tune of a lone wolf howling its song into the sky. She had always found it very enjoyable to listen to things as peaceful as that.

Her flushed cheeks betrayed to her how cold it really was. She didn't really feel that cold for her clothes had kept her nice and warm. It was both that and the fact that Enzo, her fire steed, stood right beside her, sharing his warm flames with Meera's small stature. All of her animal companions stood beside her as well, equally entranced by the intensity of the night and the winter. She could feel two small bodies moving up and down as Salmo and Venorik slept peacefully in her pocket.

Then she turned her head and saw Akira sleeping atop of Enzo and Marqee watching her with sharp eyes while resting in a nearby tree. After watching Marqee for a minute, she caught a glimpse of a pure white wolf loping over the snow. She didn't know for sure but she could infer that this was the wolf that had let out the beautiful howl and entranced Meera into the beauty of the winter night's sky.

Astalder - December 10, 2004 01:09 AM (GMT)
Astalder walked along the path of the Debon plains, the fear of gryphons attacking, absent his mind. He breathed out watching his warm breath like a disappearing fog. Astalder then heard rapid footstepd behind him. So rapid they couldn't be anykind of human, obviously a four-legged animal. It was a beautiful whitewolf. She howled loudly that seeme like a song. Astalder smiled wanting to join in the merriment. He watched as the wolf playfully knashed her teeth at some nearby domesticants. Astalder ran after the wolf, then easily matched her pace. He felt the wind against his face. His long hair flowed behind him and shined under the yellow light of the moon. He looked down at the wolf and noticed that she had bright green eyes. He smiled down at her and cut the cold air in half with their speed.

EDIT: Woops, sorry. Just ignore my post ^_^

Finduilas - December 10, 2004 01:23 AM (GMT)
Not carring about the elf who ran beside her, Finduilas kept running until she had no choice but to slow down. Coming to a hault with her tounge handing from her jaws she looked up at the elf for the first time.

She grinned at him in her wolfish way and sat down still breathing heavily but now also thumping her tail upon the snow covered ground. Soon breathing normally again she moved back towards the wolf and gnelty licked his hand. Even though she was in her werewolf form Finduilas still could not help but think this elf to be very handsome indeed.

Jumping away from him bounding through the snow once again now in a playfull come and get me manner, Finduilas picked up the scent of several other animals and even that of a human/elf. Looking around for the source of the scent she saw the others and let out a call to them in her happy voice.

OOC: Lets all rp together

Astalder - December 10, 2004 01:53 AM (GMT)
As soon as the wolf slowed down he did to. Once they halted he sat down looking into the green eyes of the white wolf. The cold snow cooled his warm body from his exilerating run. He laughed as the wolf licked his hand and scratched the back of the wolf's neck. Astalder looked around at the scenery, taking all of it in. He spotted a pack of animals. Amognst those animals was a great fire steed and a energetic little squirell. Astalder knew it could only be one person, Meera. He smiled at her and waved his arm, gesturing her to join him.

"Hello Meera! Good to see you again!" Astalder's attention turned back to the now pack of wolves. He sensed no anger and smiled at them all. "If only you guys could talk, then it would be a real party." Astalder laughed at his own little joke.

Nightgazer - December 13, 2004 08:44 PM (GMT)
Meera's head flew around, slapping her long hair against her red cheeks. She saw Astaldar and the wolf and smiled immedietly. Her heart thumped escatically, this night couldn't get any better. She saw Astaldar motioning for her to join him and she agreed to follow. But before she left, she carefully took Venorik out and placed him on top of Enzo. Then did the same with Salmo. They made no sign that they had felt the move and continued sleeping.

Meera walked over to Astaldar with her hands in her pocket smiling greatly. She said softly, "long time no see huh?" and laughed, for it had not in fact been a long time since she had seen him. She said contemplatively "that wolf doesn't look normal.... I wonder...." but didn't voice her full opinion for she now heard the wolf's call and saw her happy smile. She couldn't resist. Like a happy child again, Meera smiled gleefully and pulled Astaldar's hand as she ran towards the wolf happily.

Astalder - December 14, 2004 12:31 AM (GMT)
Astalder laughed as he was pulled along buy Meera. He ran at a normal human pace and responded:

"Indeed, I believe it was ages before we'd met." Astalder joked. "It's good to see again freind!" Astalder then felt a warm feeling against his leg. He slowed to a stop then looked down. His sheathe was glowing white. He half unsheathed his sword, then completely took it out. His Elven Saber was now consumed in a white glow with small bolts of lightning shooting off it. His blade had also changed. Now the blade was in the shape of a large lightning bolt, and the hilt was carved with lightning bolts around it.

"Interesting," said Astalder looking at the gleaming blade. He sheathed it once more and ran on with Meera to the wolves.

Nightgazer - December 19, 2004 08:01 PM (GMT)
Meera stopped for a second, watching as Astaldar looked at his sword. She said "wow, that's peculiar. Do you know how it did that. It's really cool. I'd like a sword like that" and she followed it with her eyes as Astaldar re-sheathed it on his leg. As she started running again, she said "Very peaceful out here isn't it." and she looked up at the pale glowing moon. She stopped and watched the stars as they twinkled. As she breathed out, her breath came out as a smooth gray mist. She then voiced to Astaldar "The night has always mystified me." then pointed her hand towards a particullarly bright circle of five stars. She said "My parents always said that was my constellation."

She smiled at the bright memory and looked back level at Astaldar. She didn't really expect an answer but one would be nice. She loved people who would build off her speech. It was no fun just talking to herself. Meera was a highly sociable person and it couldn't be considered socializing if she was the only one striving for a true conversation. She tended to get frustrated if she had been alone for too long. No one wanted to see cheerful Meera frustrated. But she usually never had that problem.
