Zero had been wandering around for the last couple of days in the marshes.... lost.
He had been seeking for guidiance for his way out. These marshes gave him goosebumps from the creepy sight of the haunted marshes. Hopefully he would find a person that knows his/her way out and knew these marshes well enough.
Zero kept alert, then he saw the shadow of an object from the misty, foggy marshes, as he approached this figure he called out "Hey anyone there." Hoping the object approaching would reply. All he ever wanted was an answer, his way out.

*Training in the marshes, Kore had been trudging through the immense swamplands for several days now. Halfway through he lost his way, but figured he'd fight until he found a way out.

Morning had broke, but it always seemed like midday due to the fog that covered everything. Trudging back into the swamp water, he swatted in front of him, shooing away the mosquitoes. He waded around looking for something edible. After half an hour of searching, he saw an image shrouded by shadows. Holding his hand out, fire formed and shaped itself into a ball. He pulled his hand back only slightly and pumped it foreward, sending the fireball screaming towards the shrouded figure. The fire cut through the fog, slowly revealing his target. Only seconds before it connected, he realized the figure was human. He held his hand out and regained control of the fireball. He strained a little at controlling it, the fireball hanging in the air inches from the person's face.

Walking towards the person, he winked his eye, snuffing out the fire.* Hey kid, what are you doing here? This area isn't the safest of places to be.

A woman watched this from far off, she wore a black dress that fell on the mirky ground under her, her skin was black and her hair was even darker. Her eyes were dark black green watching everymove of this two men. After one of them said something she walked over to them.

"Hello, why are you two out here? You know there are suppose to be black dragons looming and lurking in these swamps," she said in a soft voice, "I know the way out maybe, because I accidentlly walked in here and was taken away by a dragon, I just bearly got away with my life." she lifted her arm that had a giant claw mark on it. On her back had the same claw marks.

Zero had quickly answered the mans question,"U-um Im lost and it seems though as if I have been walking around in circles in this place will you help me find a way out ?" he asked this man, not knowing if the man would decide to try and kill Zero. He kept his distance and was alert before he would lay a finger on him, Zero wasnt sure about the man killing him, though he did look evil. He tried to keep this thought out of his mind and talked to him with no fear.

Just as seconds past a woman had confronted them both and they were being questioned and warned that there were dragons looming about. Zero was shocked of the claw markings they had saw from this woman."Are you trying to scare us away by telling us that there are dragons here, deadly ones." He questioned her as he let go of his fears. There was nothing really to be afraid of, about this place, it was just a creepy one.

*Noticing the boy's face as he neared him, he held his hand over his mouth* Oh I'm sorry Zero, I didn't know it was you. It's me Kore, and no, I have no clue how to get out of here, although if we work together, there is probably a chance that we will eventually stumble upon a way out. I also apologize again for casting that spell at you.

* He offered his hand in greeting, but pulled it back when he saw the dark skinned woman approach them. He turned to her direction and quirked an eyebrow.* Black Dragons, you say? That sounds like fun actually. Never really faced one, but I'd love to see how I would fare against one, especially now that I've been training heavily.*Looking at the marks the dragon left on her, his face looked apologetic* I'm sorry you had to experience that, but if you want, we can find it and teach it a "lesson"

Zero looked closley at the man, ........ It had been Kore, "Wow. Kore I didnt know it was you also, and as for the spell, its ok, you were just being alert for any dangers thats all, right?" he replied to Kore. "Yeah we should find a way out, but this place is to dark and foggy, oh well I think positive thoughts not negative, well I hear there is a city near by called the city of Balefire and I hear its an evil creatures home."


Zero had wanted to stay away from this city of Balefire who knows what evil was lurking around in that darkened city. What Zero had heard was that there was going to be a Guild there to burn the place.

Munwithurix looked from Kore to Zero, "If you wish to find and fight this dragon I can show you the way," she shifted her look deep into the swamp, "The dragon lives there, I will lead you to it, but if you, sir," she nodded towards Zero, "would like to leave the swamp, go that way then turn west and walk for a about a day. it should lead you to the land outside the swamp." she pointed north then west. But in truth that way led to somewhere else.

Munwithurix looked down at her arm that had the gash on it, it was bleeding somewhat but she ignored it for now. The smell of the swamp was strong in this form but she was use to it.

Zero looked at Kore, then decided to stay with them just so he would be safe. He didnt want to wander off and then somthing terrible would happen to him. He was going to seek this dragon along with Kore. "No thanks, Ill stick with you guys."
Zero replied back to the lady.

A dragon hunt you say? I have heard their meat is more tender than a young lamb and its scales close to as impregnable as mythril. Killing a dragon was not neccessarily on my "things to do" list, but I think this will give me a chance to push myself to the limit, and then continue to push myself to hieghts of power I never achieved. Zero, m'lady, I will be more than happy to work with the both of you to purge this land of this black dragon.* He smirked and closed his fist in a cheer and held it up.*

Zero then thought hard about what Kore had said. Maybe Zero could get some good training also, he would like to face this dragon the lady spoke of. Still thinking in his mind, he had already made a decision to go out for the hunt. Though Zero wasnt sure about this woman, she seemed a little suspicious. Zero would have to keep alert and keep a good eye on her. Zero did not trust anything around him except for Kore. The enviroment seemed really uncomfortable for Zero. "I would also help out on this dragon hunt. And like Kore said, I think it would help me out alot as well also. My skills would improve alot more. Well Im ready when the both of you are." He said eagerly but was serious about it.

He would stick with Kore at all times and not get to close to the lady as she seemed a little spooky to Zero. He couldnt stand walking in these parts of the marshes, in fact he didnt like a thing about the marshes.
