Description: Seele only

Kore Takamura - November 26, 2004 05:06 PM (GMT)
*Kore sat in the waiting room, only minutes away from going into his first team match. Looking over at Seele, he smirked and held his hand up, his fingers extended.* Five rounds, thats all we have to win to take 1st place today. After that, we'll go to the bar, drinks on the one who gets the least amount of defeats.

*He stood up straight, pressing his armor, then tapping his hand on his sword. His eyes flared with power as he awaited the doors to open.* They have no clue what they did when they grouped us together. Are you ready, Seele?

ooc:: I'm thinking about trying to make this an actual tournament like the one I fought in...

Seele - November 27, 2004 02:39 AM (GMT)
((Heh... I just saw this. Next time please PM me... I never would of noticed this topic normally...)

Seele nodded. "They obviously thought that we were both weak, due to our lack of activity here. I myself have never fought here..." The tall elf grinned. He did not look like a warrior; there was no trace of armor, only a black cloak that his his featured from the neck down. A black hat shaded his face, light blue hair framing pale skin and gold eyes. However, there was a silent danger in the ease that he hald the scythe at his side, the blue-silver metal gleaming oddly in the light.

Seele stepped next to Kore and spun the scythe easily in one hand. "I am ready as well Kore. And I hope you're prepared to buy the drinks..." the doors in front of them slowly creaked open, revealing the packed dirt arena, the tall, thick walls that surrounded it, the rows and rows of people cheering for the blood sport that would happen shortly.

Kore Takamura - November 29, 2004 07:13 AM (GMT)
*He held his hand by his samurai blade, gripping the hilt and drawing the blade quickly. He slashed the air a few times before resting the blade on his shoulder. He smirked and kicked the opening doors, the side he kicked swinging wide open.* I think it is you who should prepare, for if you can't reach them first, you won't get the defeat.

*He laughed loudly as he charged into the arena, his laugh then turning into a battlecry as he charged towards the two they had to face. They both looked like rookies that left the academy before their training was done. He looked back at Seele who he was sure followed him shortly after and clenched his teeth, signing him for a pincer type formation.

He tossed his samurai blade over his two shuffling opponents and cocked his hand back. Dark magic formed in his hand as he came nearer and nearer to his opponents. As he drew only a few feet away from them, he launched the dark magic towards them. It shaped itself into large ball and landed before the two men's feet, darkness encompassing their entire bodies.

With their vision impaired, Kore charged through the globe to reach the other side. Before he shoved his way past the two, his blade feel hilt facing upward into the soft ground. Upon making his way out of the globe and on the other side, he only hoped Seele picked up on his idea and was carrying out the tactic Kore planned. He turned around before his blade and smiled menacingly as he snapped his fingers. As he snapped them, the globe disappeared, leaving the two inside them disorientated and unaware of what happened.* Lets get this over with, shall we? *He yelled at Seele. Not caring if Seele acknowledged it or not, he yanked his blade out of the ground and went on an all out offensive towards the taller of the two men.*

Seele - December 1, 2004 12:40 AM (GMT)
Seele was at the opening gate one second, right by the two the next. The shorter of the two looked at him with wide eyes and proved his unexperience in battle by charging the elf. Seele sighed and hopped back, the man's sword not coming close in any of the wild, unaimed swings. He didn't even have to raise the sword in order to block the weapon, simply using his superior speed to dodge. Suddenly his opponent grinned nad extended a hand towards Seele, the fingers pointing at the elf. He clenched his fist, and a raging ball of fire shot towards Seele. A magic user! Seele fell back and crossed his arms in front of hsi face. An explosion resulted, covering the area where the elf had stood in dust. The man grinned and turned back towards Kore.

"A piece of advice." The dust cleared. Pure black chains writhed around Seele in constant motion. A net of chains stood in front of him and had blocked the fireball. All of the chains spiraled outward from Seele, surrounding him in a whirlwind of black metal and slashing shards that were fused to the long chains. Golden eyes watched the man emotionlessly. "Do not assume someone to be dead until you know for sure." Chains sped towards the smaller man, wrapping him tightly. They lifted him off the ground, the sword dropping out of his hand to the dirt. The chains brought the man to Seele so they were eye-to-eye. "A shame you will not be alive to follow my words of wisdom..." The man's eyes grew wide. Sweat rolled down hiss forehead. He began to speak words of magic, but Seele hit his face hard. His head snapped back, lip and nose bleeding. Seele ignored his pain and turned towards Kore, watching him fight. "Done yet, friend Kore? They seem to have more skill than it first seemed..." A single chain with a wicked, hooked piece of metal at the end ran down the captive's face, leaving a thin angry red line. "I am undecided whether to kill mine or throw him to the crowd."

Kore Takamura - December 2, 2004 03:29 PM (GMT)
*As Kore advanced to the taller man, he noticed Seele having only suprise trouble with the other. His blade ready to strike, he swung at the side of the silent giant. Without even flinching, the man deflected Kore's strike with his fist, sending vibrations through his hands, forcing him to drop his sword.

Shaking his hands he looked at the man and realized that it wasn't a man, but a golem of sorts made of steel. It seemed to be created by this mage or just something the arena made for such measly competitors. Snarling, Kore figured he'd take care of him later.

He backed up and looked towards his partner who seemed to be manhandling the mage.* This damned thing is a steel golem, we'll have to work together on that one. As for the mage. *He held his hand towards him, everthing closed except for his thumb and index finger which were outstretched in a right angle. He smirked as fire began to build up in his finger. Licking his lips, he fired the fireball. It was small enough not to hurt Seele but travel right into the mage's ear and burn him from the inside.

Soon after the body went limp, Kore blew on his index finger and grinned* Bang...now lets get the behemoth.

Seele - December 3, 2004 09:31 PM (GMT)
Seele let the chains drop the man and shook his head. "I suppose that puts you ahead of me on the tally, eh?" He looked towards the steel golem and threw a hand out. Chains whirled, wicked pieces of metal screaming through the air. However, the shadow metal clanged off of the golem's shiny body, doing no lasting damage. Seele snarled and crouched, more chains appearing from under his cloak. Some wwrapped around the golem, and others stabbed deep into the ground, keeping Seele in place. He pulled at the golem with all of his might. The metal figure did not even move. Instead, it grabbed a handful of chain and used them to throw Seele to the ground. The elf stood up slowly. The golem charged him with amazing speed, the large metal fist up. He slammed it down, smashing a crater in the ground where Seele had been. The elf, who had jumped straight up, landed on the metal monster's back and propeled himself to stand next to Kore. He stretched, slightly sore from the golem's throw. "I think a combination spell would be good enough..." Dark energy crackles around Seele's hand as the golem straightened and turned towards them, starting back towards them slowly. "I'll use Enervation... what about you?" the gold eyes gleamed with knowlege, looking over the golem for the weakest spot to hit with the magical bolt.

Kore Takamura - December 4, 2004 09:58 PM (GMT)
*Kore watched as Seele attempted to feel the steel golem and cringed when it went awry. Indeed he believed those vicious chains would have done something to harm it, but as he continued to get manhandled, he began preparing a spell he would hope work.

His eyes flashed white, then an obscure gray while a slight rumbling was felt under them as Kore closed his hand. Looking at Seele, he nodded as a combo spell was suggested* You're right, a combo spell would weaken it enough to do more than moderate damage to it. I'll cast Earthquake to unearth the ground from under it, then you blast it with enervation. Now stand back or you might get hit from the debris. *Kore held his fist to his chest, pounding it in rythym. The floor began shaking violently, then kore leaped in the air and sent his fist into the ground as he landed.

The earth cracked and travelled to the golem. It exploded beneath the golem, toppling it on its back.* Now Seele. If you had a chance this would be it!

Seele - December 7, 2004 02:56 AM (GMT)
Seele nodded and jumped overhead, then threw his hand down so it pointed straight at the golem. MAXIMUM ENERVATION! The crackling bolt of negative energy struck the golem in the center of it's chest. The clothes immediately caught on fire, alight with black flames. The metal skin started to melt as the golem struggled to get up from beneath the waves of dark energy. Seele suddenly stopped, the metal glowing red. "Hm. Now you're weaker."

The black chains shot into the melted area of the golem, ripping outward. It shrieked an unearthly moan as the metal body was ripped apart. The chains glowed with dark energy and sank into each piece, making sure no residue power would let it come back together. Then Seele let the chains throw the hunks of steel into the crowd. "Hm. You're more powerful than the last time I saw you Kore." The golden eyes glinted with a light akin to humor. "Maybe it is a good thing we are paired together.

Kore Takamura - December 21, 2004 11:34 PM (GMT)
*Watching his plan unfold into brilliance, he couldn't help but yell and cheer in victory as the golem was devastated by Seele's chains. Walking to where the golem and the destroyed earth lay, he grabbed a scrap piece of metal that remained and put two more notches into Kilgorin. He cheered and sheathed his sword, walking back to Seele.* I could also say the same of you Seele. If only we were this fortunate at Norwood, eh? Anyways, I think it was a mistake on the match moderator- We leave the opposition in a pile of burnt bodies and rubble. Unluckily for our challengers, we cannot be disbanded until the tournament is over. Besides, next tournament that comes around, we'll just do the same thing. Now, are you ready for our new challengers, they should be here in about fifteen minutes. After the third wave of people/golems/etc. is dispatched of, the day of fighting is done and we can go relax in a nice warm bath with scotch paid with your gold.* He laughed loudly and gave him a friendly slap on the back.*

Seele - December 22, 2004 12:18 AM (GMT)
Seele grinned. "A good thing, as my gold probably came out of your pocket to begin with." A single golden coin appeared between the elf's knuckles, and with amazing dexterity he made it dance between his fingers before disappearing again. The elf stretched clamly, watching the cheering crowd. There were severl fights over the pieces of the golem's body. But his attention snapped back to the tournament as the challenger's door once again began to grate open. "Hm. Some more pigs for the slaughter, eh Kore?" Seele leaned on the shaft of his scythe, letting the blade sink into the ground. His stance was relaxed, but seemed ready to spring aside in an instant.
