Title: Awaiting A Stranger
Shynthriir - November 20, 2004 09:16 PM (GMT)
Shynthriir had gotten word that someone wanted to meet him, though he couldn't quite remember the name of this person; or was he even told? All he remembered is that he was expected in this Cathedral before it got dark. It was nearing dark and he had been here for a few minutes already. The man he was supposed to meet, if it was a man that is, had not yet come. Maybe it's a hoax he things to himself, but then decided that the other man just ran into a bit of trouble.
What mad Shynthriir uneasy was the tone of the man's voice who told him abaout this meeting. Shynthriir didn't know what it was about or if it was only a meeting. Perhaps it was a death trap. All he could do is wait and find out; and keep his wits about him if trouble came along.

"Well, I thought you'd be late.." A voice echoed through the place. A pounding of feet slowly became louder. There stood in the shadows a young man. Or, was it a man? "It's funny.. You came right on time... Much too early for something like this..." He pondered on this for a few moments before walking a few steps towards him. "What's your name?" He demanded. He loved to play with people's minds. He didn't say much either. His name was Ghan Hails. Most often confused with a vapiric demon, he is really half vampire half demon. Half of the emotions humans and other creatures had were unknown to him. He was a part of death and darkness. His black cloak covered most of his clothing and features except for his boots. He took out a bottle and took a sip. Poison. "Would you like some? I bet you wouldn't but.." He shrugged. "No harm in asking.." He said with a menacing smile. Ghan liked to play with peoples minds. He would invite someone to a creepy place just to ask them a ton of useless questions.
Why did he do it? It was a game. A sneaky game. By the end of it he could figure out just who exactly a person really was. It was like torturing without using anything but words. 'Humans don't deserve to live.. None of these creatures do.. They are horrible little creatures of greed.. They should all die in this miserable world..' He always thought. He stashed the poison away and watched Shynthriir.

Shynthriir watched as the horrid looking creature entered the room. My name shall be known to me and me alone. If called me here, then you should know my name already I shoudl think. Shynthriir moved to the other side of the room, not because he was scared or even intimidated by the being who called himself Ghan, but because he smelled so aweful.
I am not thisty, he said. It was a lie, a convising one at that for he had gotten so used to lying that he almost believed himself. It was partially true either way though, he was not thirsty for anything this beast had to offer.
Why did you call me here? he questioned while turning to once again face the beast. It was a good things he did keep his wits about him, for surely he would go and kill this unknown beast the moment he lay his eyes on it if he did. As much as he wanted to kill it, he knew that there was some purpose that it had to call him here and he needed to know what that purpose was.

Ghan smirked, walking to the door where the pale moonlight could see his similar pale features. He took off his hood, showing his human like features. He had dark black hair and calm blue eyes. "You don't like the looks of me do you?" He said. "Of course not, why would you? You are a strong one for your species.. Just like the rest running from me.. It's actually very ammusing to me.." He said, pondering what he had already learned about this man. "And, actually, I do not know your name... A total random selection if you understand.." He leant back on the wall of the cathedral, blue eyes watching the pitch black nothingness of the place. "You're not thirsty are you? I'm guessing it was a lie.. Never take drinks from strangers.. Too dangerous.." He said with a menacing laugh. 'Poor pathetic souls keep holding on to life and never letting go even though death is going to come anyway.. These creatures are beneath me.. Why not just kill them? Why not let them rest in peace? I could be king and they could be at peace.. We'd all be happy..' He thought to himself. 'But, they'll never understand... They are such fools. Kill them all and the foolishness will cease..'
He looked to Shynthriir again. "Is there supposed to be a major reason for me asking you here?" He asked, contradicting his first question. "Cause, I haven't thought of an answer to that.. You'll know soon enough.." He said. "What is your name? You're not going to tell me are you? Maybe I should just call you a name.. Yes, make up one.. How about fluffy.. A nice name it is.." He said, smirking. He watched his guests face. He observed him quietly, messing with a large collar that was wrung around his crane like neck. He simply made the collar tighter.

You aren't the most appealing of creatures, you shoud know that already. If you don't know that then surely you are dumber than what you put on to be. I never did run away, just escape your smell. If I ad to continue to small it, you would surely not be living anymore. Shynthriir said that with the utmost confidence, he didn't doubt that he could take the life of this beast in seconds if he wanted to, or at least tried to; he already wanted to.
Call me by what you wish, after all, what is in a name? Nothing, once you think about it; nothing good at least. It will only hint at stories you may or may not have heard about me, or maybe stories that don't even exsist. A name, if anything, if a weakness, is it not?
