Title: [p]Finding the cure
Description: Erasmo

Meera walked through the dense marsh. Looking all around her. She was on guard for she had heard many bad stories about this place. People told her that this place was haunted and that anyone who went in, never came out. Of couse she didn't believe those stories, but that didn't explain the eerie feeling that overcame her when she stepped over the threshold. She stepped slowly, and carefully, not wanting to step on the plant that she had tried so long and hard to search for. The cure that may just heal her poor fox.

Akira had swallowed a bug and was deathly ill. Meera went to a healer to see if they possibly knew the cure. The only answer she got was a sympathetic head shake and a "The cure is almost impossible to find." Desperate Meera would do anything for her constant fox companion so she asked the healer where to find it. Reluctantly, the healer told her, but not without a warning. This plant was so rare that it was rumored that there were only four total left. Meera had faith in herself as she thought -I will do anything for Akira. Even if there was one left, I will find this plant-

((Sorry it took me a while to reply, I got called away to make dinner))

Dim sunlight filtered down from the trees above, it's rays getting lost within the sea of mist which seemed to life bwtween then dense marsh. Rotting tress, bendt over in shape dipped the thips of their brances into the soggy mud, looking much like an old man, reaching down to pick a coin fromt he mud. The only difference seemed to be the smell. The smell of the marsh stunk to high hevan, it's rotting compusre mixing with the unsurfaced dead bodies it housed. A worn path was trampled through the thick swamp, but only a fool would be daring enough to cross it alone.

Erasmo stood staring out into the thick mass of green, tinted here an dthere with specks of gray sorrow. His brow wrinkled up in fustration as he prodded the side of a tree with his fingernail, watching as the barn beneath it lost its hold and fell off. Disgusting. He muttered, running a claw back though his ebony hair. Licking his lips throughtfully the man shifted his weight to his left leg, and leaned over a bit trying to see down the road a little further. It was useless. Sighing iritbly, he looked down to his stomach as it let ot a low rumble. Cursing, he bit down on his lip, hoping the constant hunger pains would die away.. and yet, even the sweet taste of his own blood didnt help. Gazing back to the forest he relised he was going to have to go in there if he was to settle his hunger pains at all. Taking a deep breath he set of finto the deadly marsh.

Erasmo's feet tredded lightly on the worn path, his footsteps unaudible to the passerby. Smiling to himself as he walked on, he studied his surroundings, watching as the water pit lined the sides of the trail. Now thats somthing you wouldnt want to slip into.. Grinning a little, and licked his fangs, the picture of a person falling in and dieing a drug to his mood. Thinking on it a bit more as to divert his attenion from his stomach, he thought it would be sweeter, and much more enjoyable if the victium first was mutitlated. Maybe the fingers pulled off one by one. and then the toes, followed by a chewing to the bone at everyjoint.. and jsut when they think there dead.. you let them bathe in that awful swamp. Laughing lightly, he grinned fully, his fangs like razors in the thick fog. Yes, that would indeed be enertainment for his soul.

Stopping suddenly, he closed his eyes, his physic senses probbing the surrounding area, his heart giving off a wild thump as he felt someone, or somthing, lurking nearby. With another prob, he sensed it had some other small creatuer.. Ahh maybe it's a mother and child.. it's always fun to watch teh moher's screaming pleas as you rip her child apart in front of her, and devouer their limbs..A shiver of excitment ran down his bones, and he slipped farther into the shadows on the trees, streching out his wings. Black masses lifted from his back and he glided up into the low set trees, landing a ways off, closer to where he had felt them. Peering down through the fog, he spotted his traget. A young woman stood below, a fox perched in her hands, obviously wounded in some way. Not excatly what I thought.. but still, it is food all the same. He grinned at the woman.. woman flesh was always some of the best. It had a smooth gentle feel, unlike the rough, grainy man meat. Shrugging, he focused his sight upon the woman, scanning her slowly with his blood red eyes. Licking his black lips, he aimed himself right infront of the woman, his body tense and ready for food..

Diving down he landed infrotn of her. and towerd over her smaller frame, his eyes wide and crazyed, showing only one thought over and over. Food It played again and again in his red orbs, as though it were a record, stuck on the same part. Licking his lips again, he reached out to grab the woman, hoping she was afarid.. the fear always did somthing to spice up the meal. Smilign creuly, his hand latching into his arm, he said only one word.

Hello..

((Only 750, sorry!))

Meera was just glancing around her when she heard the soft thump of boots hitting the ground in front of her. Her spine tingled as she looked around to see the site that awaited her eyes. Even as she knew that it wouldn't be good, the shock was so initially hard that she had to take a step back. Even though she had never met someone that looked quite like this man, she knew that she wouldn't be safe for long." She quickly dropped Akira on the ground next to her and reached for her bow and arrows upon her back and unsheathed them. Her heart thumped so loudly and strongly that it rocked her body. Or maybe that was shivvering out of fear. Meera could not tell. She nocked the arrow upon her bow and her eyes grew grim but wary as she faced the creature.

She held up the bow, trying very hard to steady her hands as not to mess up her aim. She took another step backwards, halfway in between deciding to run for it, fight, or call for Enzo. Her heart told her to fight, Her fear told her to run, but her sense told her to call for Enzo. But it was then that she saw the wings sitting upon the thing's back. Her common escape route may not work for this one instance. Her mind raced but she knew that she would have no other options. She just had to hope and pray that whatever the thing was would get dicouraged and/or not fight as hard as she imagined. Then her common sense spoke up again and she knew that the chances were good that none of those options would happen and Meera would end up fighting for her life.

Normally, she would size up the competitors and find their weaknesses, but she knew that now, it was a fight of speed and quick thinking. She would just have to work that out by fighting him herself and waiting to see what affected him best. She knew that her range of weapons was wide, but there was always the possibility of him not having any visible weaknesses from the aray of weopons that she had on hand. Her usual first instinct was the bow because of it's long range shot, but she knew that some creatures could dodge the arrows and then the bow wouldn't help. She also had the sword, her special water sword but she hadn't really worked with that much and did not know too many skills that could come in handy during close combat.

Another possibility could be spells. She didn't use spells much but she knew that it was a good last resort because mostly, it affected animals greatly. She didn't consider this man an animal, but you could never tell with people these days. They created almost invible masks to sheild their true intentions from competitiors. For all she knew, this could be one of those kinds of men. Most of her spells were water spells but she knew that only some of them would help her. Some where regular spells not meant to do any type of fighting. They were just for personal use. After a great deal of thought, she stuck with the bow and realized that if this were to be the end of her after all, then she had better make the best of it. She would put up a good fight and know in her heart that she had tried her best. Though she would always remember how she had failed to help her forevor friend Akira, and she would possibly die because of Meera's inability to defend her from the unknown and cruel world.

((don't worry, I'll try to make my posts long like my advanced rp posts. You should try out to be an advanced rp'er))

((Ahh I dont want to fight because I'll know you win.. My guy is to weak cause Im new >.<.))

A light wind teased Erasmo's bangs, parting them to relveal one of his eyes. changing from white, to bring out the red which lay dormant in it. His body was pounding as he watched her every move, delibetly watxhing as she seemed unsure about how to deal with him. A smile coaxed his lips as he thought of what she would look like as a mangled pulp, lying in the middle of the swamp. No.. first, I will not attack her.. she will be expecting that. No i will stike her presious little compainion. Without turning his gaze, he flicked a eye at the fox, marking it's place in his head, thoughts weaving in and out on how he would accomplish this. If I take hostage her animal.. she will not hurt me. For all the damge she does to me.. i will do a ten fold to her little whelp. Smiling like the madman he was, Erasmo slowly picked out the right moment to launch his attack.

Under his breath, so she couldnt hear, he began to count to ten, getting ready ever so slightly to strike when his tounge formed the word ten. 5.. Erasmo crouched down a bit, but only a enough so it wouldnt be ovious. 8.. The grin widened on his lips as she watched as the woman finally decided on the bow. an easy wepon to doge Milady. He chuckled to himself. 10.. With that Erasmo shot from the ground. his arms scouping up the frightened young pup, and moving back against a tree, his eyes narrows, and his wings drawn for a quick flight

In his arms, the fox whimpered frantically, looking over to the woman for help. Erasmo cursed, wanting nothing more than to just break it's neck and eat it now. But he needed a decent meal, and such little meat would not full fill his gnawing hungar. Glancing back to the woman, he met her gaze, his own orbs like stone. Cold, hard, and unfeeling. Slowly, he let a long nailed hand stroke the pups back, sending a series of chills down it's spine. Frightening it more than ever, but stunning it enough so it stopped it's rancid howling. resting the claw on it's neck, he rubbed it's jugular vein, looking up to the woman slowly, his words filtering out to her.

Milady.. I do not wish to hurt you, no that is one of my last resorts.. Lieing, he smiled still, turning his gaze back to the pup, still speaking. But this pup here.. ah, such a tasty appatizer yes? Mmm.. You see miss, the damge you try to inflict on me, will be given to your pup a ten fold.. His eyes blazed a burning red now, and he laughed somewhat insanely. I'm sure, this little fellow would not last much mroe than a broken nail now would he? grinning wider still, he stared at her, wanting her. Needing her pain to full fill the hunger he felt.. The longing in his blood to kill.

((this is not a real reply because I would just like to tell you that you're doing a tad bit of powerplaying. The fox is my companion and you're not supposed to be rping another person's character or companion. I'm not saying this to be mean, but I just don't want you to get a warning for it if you didn't know. If you would please edit your post so it doesn't powerplay, then I'll gladly edit this post and continue rping with you. No hard feelings right?))
