Title: Classes from a Celestial
Description: open to all that want to be teached
Kuya - November 19, 2004 12:00 AM (GMT)
Kuya smelled the air as he entered the quarters. It was a familiar smell to him since he had been here a long time ago once before. He had been out training in th wilderness, and now it was time to come back. He carried his usual sack of equiptment with him, he was wearing his celestial chain guard and mythril chain, so that any eager students would notice it. Not alot know how Kuya fights, because few have seen him in combat before. This was certainly a new experience for him teaching students to fight.
(OOC: Short and sweet post, didn't want anyone to be downhearted and walk away, cuz if I make a long post no one will bother to read it and post  )
Jasmine of Laurudy - November 19, 2004 12:38 AM (GMT)
Jasmine walked toward Kuya with a smile on her face. She came to him and hugged him with a kiss on his cheek. "Hello Kuya." She said brightly. "Teaching today are you? Mind if I join your class today?" She stood with her hands folded at the small of her back, staring at Kuya.
Zero - November 19, 2004 02:35 AM (GMT)
As Zero was walking up towards Kuya to join class, he overheard Jasmine ask Kuya if he would teach today, and that she would join his class.
Zero was hoping he'd teach.
Zero went to confront Kuya and aked, "Are you teaching today, well if you are,can you teach me more about my celestial/prestige class?"
Zero looked at Jasmine and smiled at her.
Zero was hoping to be taught more about his celestial/prestige, he rested his arm by placing his hand on the back of his head.
He waited for a reply.
Kuya - November 19, 2004 10:36 AM (GMT)
Kuya blushed slightly at Jasmine kissing him and returned the hug. "Of course, I promised you." Kuya said smiling. Then another came up. Another Infused.
"I did not think, there were any Infused out there, who wanted to further their bonds with a celestial. But I guess I was wrong. To answer your question, I must know what kind of celestil you have infused yourself with...wait mine is telling me something." Kuya said. he was talking about his Celestial Spirit Judgement.
He said clearly to anyone around: I sense an Avoral...though he is infused with someone. Could there finally be an Infused that wants to learn?
"Yes, I could not believe it myself. Well thank you fo answering my question Judgement." Kuya said chuckling. "Judgement will teach you about your class young one." and Judgement and Kuya seperated into two forms as they learned how too. Judgement towerd high above all of them, but shrunk his size to seven foot. Now the training was ready, Kuya was facing Jasmine and Judgement the young lad.
Jasmine of Laurudy - November 19, 2004 03:08 PM (GMT)
"So tell me Kuya, what do I need to know first? Is there some kind of rule that I must know? Must I hold my katana a special way?" She looked down to the ground as if concentrating and then looked up to Kuya and asked,"Do you think I am going to need an armor? Should I get one?" Jasmine stopped and blushed. She had been asking to many questions and not letting the instructor teach. She looked at Kuya and blushed.
Jahesd - November 19, 2004 03:18 PM (GMT)
Jahesd walked out onto the training fields and was watching the people getting ready to start class. He saw two angels and Jasmine standing a distance away. Jahesd speeded up his walking and turned it into a jog. He got to the rest of the students and came up to the Angel. "Hello there. I am sorry if I am late. My name is Jahesd and I wish to better my fighting skills. I may need to start with the very basics as you can see, I am mainly a magic man." He turned to Jasmine and smiled. "Why hello Jasmine. I see you are going to train in arms also. Well do not forget our magic lesson we have together. We should tomorrow at the Acadamy of Magic." Jahesd walked over to the wall and set his things down against it. He called at Kuya, "Just let me know what I need to do."
Kuya - November 19, 2004 08:51 PM (GMT)
Kuya smiled. He had never had this many students before, usually it was just one. "Okay, may I ask your name ancient one?" he said to the newcomer. "Well Jasmine, the katana is a weapon of grace and accuracy, a deadly combonation, but it takes many patient months of practice. You must learn how the katana moves, and how best to attack. Major body movement is also required in the use of a katana. Now when both of you are finished introducing yourselves and have drawn your weapons, we may start our little melee fight." Kuya said smiling taking, a simple oak pole from the ground, it was about a foor or two taller than he was.
Zero - November 19, 2004 10:31 PM (GMT)
"So Judgement what do I need to learn first?, I am aware i cannot fly yet dont have wings yet untill I andvance my bonded celestial, I am eager to learn from you." said Zero.
Zero had lots to learn from this angel and knew he had to pay close attention.
He needed to learn how to use his powers against evil and one by the name of
"Zorgn."
He pulled out his Holy sword from his sheath and asked,"Will I be needing this as we begin training?"
"Oh and by the way i dont know if I had already told you this, but my name is Zero." Zero said to the angel.
"Well Im ready to begin." (with eagerness)
Jarreth - November 19, 2004 11:27 PM (GMT)
"I must say I am impressed by the size of this class," came a voice off in the distance, originating from the closest bench to the entryway. "I have not seen with so many interested students since I arrived earlier this month. Though, it is just my luck that I chose the one occupied ring this morning." The man smiled out at the group, primarily toward Kuya, from a weathered face. His hair had some semblance of being worked on with his palms; a shiny helmet sat in the crook of his left arm to explain the awkward appearance. Steel platemail glinted in the rising sun and its inherent clanking rattled across the arena while he took a few last steps to a spot on the bench. A louder clash of metal against metal against rock was heard as he sat to watch. Slightly uncomfortable, his right arm shifted behind his back to disattach the medium shield that had begun to push inward across the back of his neck thanks to the inflexible seat. The well-forged and well-kept shield was placed on the ground infront of Jarreth, resting on the packed dirt floor and against his knees.
Having settled for the moment, he looked back at the class and called to the particularly shiny man, Kuya, "I am interested to see how a class is carried in this academy. If I become a bothersome onlooker I will be happy to leave and train elsewhere, but for now I would like to compare the teachings of these students with the lessons taught to my own students."
Kuya - November 19, 2004 11:29 PM (GMT)
"Sheath your sword and close your eyes young one and you real training will begin." Judgement asked, and as they did so, Judgement trasported them to desolate place, Shavarath. "This is Shavarath, the battlegrounds against celestials and demons, here I will reincarnate a small battle between avorals and enrinyes demons, though we are just watching the battle, you must pay attention to this little peace of history. Are you ready?" judgement said hollowly as the atmosphere was in that dimension.
Zero - November 20, 2004 12:06 AM (GMT)
"Ready!" Zero replied, as the demension of the atmosphere had changed.
Zero went dizzy and dizzier as the atmoshperes changed, once the battles took place he gained control of himself.
Zero watched eagerly as the battles of the enrinyes demons and the avorals take action.
Zero concentrated hard on one of the avorals wich he tought was really great!
Zero watched and watched untill the time came to go back to the other side of the demension.
Kuya - November 20, 2004 12:28 AM (GMT)
As the battle raged, Judgement was giving Zero mouthfuls of information. "Avoral, a strong winged celestial, eagle and or hawk like. Has very keen eyes, and strong body. Position in battle: makes up the body of air borne front. Are you getting all this, knowing the strengths and weaknesses of your celestial are very important." Judgement said shifting eyes from the battle to Zero.
"After this is over, Kuya and I will continue your lessons at the training yard. Do not ask where to find it, for your celestial will guide you there." Judgement stated and changed dimensions.
Zero - November 20, 2004 02:07 AM (GMT)
As the celestial guided Zero towards the training yards to meet up with Kuya and Jundgement,
Zero was amazed at what he had seen, that had just gotten him pumped and ready to actually fight the evil demon "Zorgn" and slay him. But though he still knew he had lots more to learn from Kuya and Judgement, he kept his mind on the certain training that needed to be done.
"Well I liked the amazing fight from those demons and the avorals, I actually enjoyed watching. Im ready for my next lesson." Zero replied calmly but yet excitedly.
Jahesd - November 20, 2004 03:05 AM (GMT)
Jahesd shooked Kuya's hand smiled. "My name is Jahesd. If I slow down your class in any way, and you do not approve of me, then please dismiss me. I do not want to be a nuisance. On the other hand, I would like to better my fighting skills. I want to learn how to fight better with my staff here." Jahesd pointed at the tall staff leaning against the wall. He looked at Kuya, waiting for a reply.
Jasmine of Laurudy - November 20, 2004 04:04 AM (GMT)
Jasmine smiled at Kuya and blew a kiss at him. She then took her blade and started to lightly swing it around. She was moving it elegantly through the air, making the katana look like it was dancing. She loved her family katana. It was very light and crafted with care and quality. It was flexible but nearly unbreakable. Her father used to tell her that it would sometimes chip diamond.
Jasmine looked for Kuya and saw that he was busy. She looked for Judgement and saw that he was also occupied. Her katana made wizzing noises through the air as she was still swinging it, making shure no one came close for her to slice. She waited for Kuya to finish with the student he was working with then she called for him to come over.
Kuya - November 20, 2004 10:58 AM (GMT)
(OOC: Guild is open if Zero and Jahesd want to join  )
"No no, that is fine. I will not be dismissing any students just because they are a nuisance and eager to learn. That is when true learning begins." Kuya said smiling and walked in between Jasmine and Jahesd. He had his new found white-oak pole in his hand. He got in a fighting position and said to them; "Let us see how far each of you has gotten with your weapons." Kuya said winking at jasmine. "Begin when ever you two feel like it."
"No, your lesson is done here, merely an introduction of information to the main training event. You are dismissed here unless you want to begin sparring with Kuya, I am sure no introductions between you two are needed, just jump in there and start to fight. We will see you at the training grounds." Judgement said, and nodded his head towards his student.
(OOC: make a topic in the celestial training yard Zero, and you can spar with me if you want so we can have 2 roleplays going :D )
Jahesd - November 21, 2004 09:26 PM (GMT)
Jahesd smiled at Jasmine and readied his staff. "I hope you are ready Jasmine. I will not hurt you." Jahesd closed his eyes and said a prayer of the Ancients. He stepped forward with his eyes closed and swiftly swung his staff at Jasmine. The staff was now spinning in his hands and he was swinging it everywhere. He opened his eyes and jabbed the tip of the staff toward her feet, trying to trip her. Jahesd had to fight in a small number of battles before with only his staff. He knew how to use it, he just wanted to master the use of his staff.
Kuya - November 21, 2004 09:59 PM (GMT)
"Remember, I am your opponent as well!" Kuya stated, and took his own staff and blocked Jahesd's blow to Jasmine's feet. He looked back at Jasmine, to make sure she would not pull of any quick moves while his attention was on Jahesd. He charged with his staff spinning it around like Jahesd, but not with his hand, but using his whole body as a way to cloud his opponent's guess of where he was going to hit next. He unloaded a few quick but light blows at Jahesd.
Jahesd - November 21, 2004 11:46 PM (GMT)
Jahesd heard Kuya and threw two light blows to his torso. He mimicked Kuya in spinning the staff and swung it around his nearly losing control of it. The staff almost hit Kuya in the head and Jahesd lost his grip on it and it flew away from him. He fell to his back started to spin. He tapped Kuya's leg with his bare foot and nearly kicked Jasmine in her gut. He jumped back up and looked at Kuya and Jasmine. "I am going to have to leave the rest to you two love birds," he said panting and gasping for air. "Now I must go fetch my staff." He laughed and started searching for his trusted staff.
Kuya - November 21, 2004 11:56 PM (GMT)
Kuya chuckled. "Hold on, I'll go fetch it. It was my fault for showing off." Kuya said and revealed his, great white angel wings and flew off, in the direction of the staff. He looked around for it. It stood in the middle of a river, buried deep. But if he didn't get it soon, it start to flow downriver. He dove down for it, just before it broke loose, and got carried off by the waves. He flew back and landed expertly. "Here you are my friend." Kuya said handing the staff to Jahesd.
(OOC: Hope that is okay with you, where is your sister at btw? lol  )
Jahesd - November 22, 2004 12:06 AM (GMT)
Jahesd smiled to see his staff again. He threww it in the air and made it spin to get the water off. He looked at Kuya and thanked him. "You are kind. I thank you. I apologize if I hurt any of you. I feel that I am alreaady bettering my skill with this old stick." His grip on the staff was firm and he was looking at it. He and his staff had been through alot. He may have seemed a bit wierd when he was talking to his staff. Jahesd looked at the other two and blushed. "Please forgive my being strange. As you can see, I have obviously grown attached to this staff." He looked at it once and kissed the jewel that rested on top.
((OOC: LOL. Jasmine seems to take a liking in you. You know I am her big brother and if you miss treat her, you will have to pay consequences. lol. Code of Big Brothers. I will let her on now.))
Kuya - November 22, 2004 12:51 AM (GMT)
(OOC: *Hides* lol  I was just thinking that she should reply to this topic, and our topic in the Ruins of an Ancient City :( )
Kuya smiled and chuckled again. "No, no thats alright, being attached to something. I think if you can be attached to a human being then you can be attached to an item." Kuya said giving Jasmine a wink. He held all of his belongings dear to him, especially his animal companions, they were his only family. Can you imagine wondering a world without anyone you can come to, to comfort you when you need it the most? It's the worse feeling in the world knowing that. "Thank you, telling me you have already improved means alot. The only way to get better at something is to keep doing it, I say." Kuya said.
Jarreth - November 22, 2004 10:19 PM (GMT)
Jarreth was more than confused as he watched the progress of the training excercise. It seemed unorganized and disproportionate to different students. He assumed it worked well enough or no one would bother to show up, but it was such a foreign training style that he did not think he could ever duplicate it during his own teachings. The Legion of the White Souls held rigid, formal training sessions in which all students were taught a specific weapon. After years of work, soldiers would be versed in most melee and ranged forms of weaponry, and only after their acceptance into the Legion's armed forces were they granted the option of specializing. Jarreth, himself, was forced into the cavalry without option due to his prowess, and was forced to master most weapons rather than one. The trainer appeared to know what he was doing, but he cringed at the thought of what would happen should the students begin to spar immediately. Even at a distance it could be seen that everyone involved was sure of themself to some extent, but none respected the abilities of those around them. Having seen no movement to use training weapons, Jarreth now knew the purpose of the particularly large medical stall. Scars were a good way to train wrong behavior, but Jarreth preferred all battle marks to come from enemies.
Having seen enough, he nodded firmly while standing and reattaching his shield to his back. The clanking sound of footsteps could be heard on the packed dirt once more as he began to return to the entrance hall. He raised his hand in acknowledgement to anyone who cared to bid him farewell while he called over his shoulder. "Take care my friends, and I wish you all luck in your endeavors. Should any of you remain after this lesson, I will most likely be willing to spar in the circle on the first left."
And so the armored man left to discover where else the path of life would lead him.
Jasmine of Laurudy - November 25, 2004 02:53 AM (GMT)
Jasmine looked at Kuya and winked. She was going to swing at him but then decided not to when she thought it was pointless. She wanted to learn to her fullest ability how to master the use of a katana. She did not just want to swing at her opponent not knowing what she was doing. Jasmine lowered her sword and bowed down to Kuya. That was the sign used in Laurudy to indicate that the match was over, or some one has given up. She walked over to him and stood next to him, looking, watching the other students train. Staring out into the open, not looking at Kuya, she said," I want to master my knowledge and use of this weapon Kuya. I do not want to fight without strategy or swift movement of the blade. I would look like a fool. Please, teach me now. Show me what techniques I must use." Jasmine stepped back and waited for Kuya to teach her what to do. She smiled and was pleased that he was the instructor.
Kuya - November 25, 2004 02:58 AM (GMT)
Kuya waved to Jarreth far away, and turned his attention to Jasmine. He held the hand that Jasmine was using to hold her katana and joined both her hands while he held her hands, so that both her hands were on the katana, and he started moving it like a ninja would, then he moved her along, like they were dancing. The pace got slowly quicker, then got more advanced with spinning the katana in her hand, then the blocking technique with one hand on one side of the blade to finish the sequence. "So how do you think of that?" Kuya said softly since their faces were already really close to each others.
Jasmine of Laurudy - November 25, 2004 03:08 AM (GMT)
Jasmine could not help but laugh. A great smile came upon her face and she rubbed her cheek against Kuya's. She looked into his eyes and wanted to kiss him. " Kuya, aren't you supposed to be teaching me and not being a tease? Are you teaching me, or are you flirting with me?" her smile grew even bigger. She turned around and faced him. She put both of her hands on his chest and looked into his eyes. She put her lips to his ear, letting him feel her warm breath and lips. She whispered," Not here. It would be a distraction to the other students. And oh yeah, I can be a tease also." She said that slightly kissing his ear and then backing up. She smiled and giggled a little bit. "Now let us practice these moves."
Zero - November 25, 2004 04:53 AM (GMT)
Zero had went back to Kuya's triaining grounds for more training with his sword. Zero had sat down on the ground with his legs crissed-crossed and looked at the students train hard, as he looked at Kuya, he was teaching Jasmine to use her katana, Zero laughed just watching them flirt and training at the same time. Zero picked up a rock and was playing with it, tossing it around and then threw it back on the ground (i got bored so i played wtih a rock). He waited patiently as they were training. He had a question for Kuya, but he could wait, it wasnt a very importatnt question. Zero watched the class train, it made him want to train too. So he drew out his sword and was swinging it around, training himself, he felt he was getting more experience with his sword.
He sat back on the floor and lied down to look up at the clouds and started day dreaming.
Kuya - November 25, 2004 03:52 PM (GMT)
Kuya felt insulted. "Okay, I just did teach you some moves!" Kuya said trying as hard as he could not to laugh. "I was teaching you how to swing and hold your katana. Now since you thing I am playing around, I will teach Zero." Kuya said jokingly, turning his attention to Zero. "Sorry for the weight, are you ready for some basics? Well let's get down to it. With the broadsword, downward slashes will be what you must concentrate on. Swings to the side have little control because of the way the broadsword is made." Kuya said shooting a quick, playful look at Jasmine but went back to business.
Jahesd - November 25, 2004 05:13 PM (GMT)
Jahed watched the students train in the art of arms. He was beginning to think that this was just not his thing. He was already starting to miss using his magic. He extended his hand and made blue waves of energy dance in his palm. He looked at them and then looked around to see if anyone was looking or not. He did not know if any of these people would take offense to a magic user. He stopped and then walked back over to Kuya and Jasmine. He went to Jasmine and watched her practce her moves on her katana. He stood back a little and grabbed his own weapon. He started to swing it around, practicing his moves with the large staff.
Zero - November 27, 2004 09:03 AM (GMT)
Zero overheard his name being said by Kuya and looked at him. He thought he was serious and if he did come up to Zero to teach him instead of Jasmine, Zero would have told Kuya to go back and finish his training with Jasmine. It would have been very unfair for him to do that. Though he found that he was joking, Zero waited patiently for his turn. As he waited he looked at everyones style and the way they moved with their own weapons. To him it was more of style than anything else, it was more of: "how you move your body" that helped you in combat.
