Title: New Teacher
Description: open to all

Jahesd - November 16, 2004 11:35 PM (GMT)
Jahesd walked into the cold class room and looked at the desks. They were empty right now. He laid his things on his deck and walked over to the open window. He poked his head out and looked at all the students of magic walking about the courtyard. "Come on my students, let's begin," he wispered to himself. He went back to his desk and sat down in his chair. I hope the students behave he thought to himself. He wondered what topic he would discuss with his class today.

Master Ace - November 17, 2004 02:00 AM (GMT)
Master Ace walk through the warm, but empty courtyard. Ace's emerald wing's were folded around his body. The weak breeze had no effect on his long messy green hair. Ace laid a hand upon the door knob and slowly opened the door to the classroom. Ace's grass green eyes immediately turned to Jahesd. "You must be Jahesd. I have seen you around the academy many times but haven't ever had the chance to meet you. I am Master Ace," Ace smiled as he turned to face Jahesd. "What do have planned for today?" Ace asked as he streched out his wings.

Jahesd - November 17, 2004 04:22 AM (GMT)
Jahesd'd eyes lit up with joy. Thoughts raced through his mind and he finaly came to a conlusion of what he would teach. "I would like to teach my students about wonderous creatures and their magical properties. I have been to many different lands and have seen many things. I keep a record of what animals I have come in contact with. I want to cover the lot of them. Unicorns, phoenixes, the dragon and the different races of them, the hippocampus, the gryphon and so much more. Oh how I wish I could have them all as familiars." Jahesd stopped and noticed that he just rambled on. He looked at Master ace and forgot to introduce himself. He extended his hand for ahand shake." My apology. My name is Jahesd."

Zorgn - November 17, 2004 06:54 PM (GMT)
Zorgn flew high above the Academy. He had been away too long he decided, he had missed classed that he should not have missed. He would have to remedy that. As he dived downwards, he hoped that he could still recover what had been lost.

Master Ace - November 17, 2004 07:07 PM (GMT)
"Well. I suppose that is an orginal idea though I did plan on doing such a class myself. My main question is how is he going to teach. I doubt he can get hold of these creatures and I hope doesn't intend on babling like this in class...Did he even listen to what I said?," Master Ace thought to himself. His clawlike hand met Jahesd's hand. "I know your name is Jahesd," Master Ace smiled as he shoook the man's hand. Ace then turned around and walked to a desk in the front. Master Ace was curious when he heard some one open the door. there was currently a nice shortage of students for the academy. Ace hoped today marked the end of that.

Jahesd - November 18, 2004 12:23 AM (GMT)
Jahesd looked at his book of spells. He set it on the table and opened it up. He flipped through the pages and stopped at no specific point. He had decided that he would only teach about mythical creatures for only a bit. He looked at the open book and studied the pages before him. Something had caught his attention and he thought he would discuss it for today. He looked at the door as he heard a noise.

Zorgn - November 18, 2004 01:22 AM (GMT)
"A bit jumpy aren't you?" Zorgn said as he walked in the door. A feeling of evil pervade the room as he steped in. He walked over to a desk and sat down. "I am here to relearn my magical skills, or whatever is going on here. Count me in." His wings folded about the chair as he waited for something.

Jahesd - November 18, 2004 10:37 PM (GMT)
"Jumpy? No. Just curious." Jahesd looked at him and wondered about him. He did not look like the kind of person that would behave his best. But Jahesd shouldn't judge so qiuckly, he has been wrong before. "You have not missed anything yet, just wait for a few more students to arrive and we will begin class. We will have a brief discussion on creatures and thier magical properties and then we will move on to Archane Magic. My favorite subject. I am new at this so please bear with me." Jahesd went behind his desk and sat down in his chair. He looked at Master Ace and asked," So I believe that you have done this before. Please, is anything I should know about the students as a whole or how I should teach?"

Jasmine of Laurudy - November 18, 2004 11:16 PM (GMT)
Jasmine walked through the door way and came to her seat in the middle of the class room. She walked passed everyone not even noticing they may have ben looking at her. "Please forgive me as I am late. I hope I did not miss anything. I will try my best not to let it happen again." She sat down and looked around her, she noticed that there was only a handful of people in the room. She looked to the teacher and asked, "Where is everybody? Am I not late?" She exchanged glances with the other two in the room.

Jahesd - November 19, 2004 03:22 PM (GMT)
Jahesd chuckled under his breath. He looked at Jasmine and smiled. "You are not late young one. We have not even begun the lesson just yet." He looked at the door way and stood to his feet. He did not want to wait any longer. He came around the front of his desk and sat on the edge and folded his arms. "OK students. Let us begin." Jahesd went on a lecture about unicorns and their magical properties.

Master Ace - November 19, 2004 03:46 PM (GMT)
Master Ace was surprised to see Zorgn walk into the room. He had not seen Zorgn in a long time and Zorgn was one to be known to never miss a class. Prehaps he had buissness of his own to attend to. Ace would ask him about it at the end of class. Ace smiled when Jasmine came in. "Why does every one think they are late when they come in?" Ace thought to himself. Ace had missed Jahesd question to him by Jasmine's entrance. She was a new student here. It was always nice to see new students.

Master Ace had to stop Jahesd when he began to speak of unicorns. He knew it was a subject that would not catch Zorgn's attenion at all. "Jahesd, with the risk of losing the attenion of one third of your class I suggest that you try to talk of a more dangerous creature," Ace smiled politely from his seat as he pointed to Zorgn and then put his finger down.

Zorgn - November 19, 2004 06:07 PM (GMT)
Zorgn feigned shock at Ace's words. "Rude and crude, Ace." He leaned back in his desk and said, in a slightly mocking tone, Unicorns and pixies and whatever else he was speaking of is quite interesting enough for me." Yawning, he closed his eyes and attempted to rest for a few seconds before the lecture went on.

Jahesd - November 20, 2004 03:19 AM (GMT)
Jahesd had to laugh. He paused for a moment and looked to Master Ace. "Very well Master Ace," Jahesd said politely," we shall speak of more dangerous creatures." Jahesd walked back and forth a bit, humming an ancient tune under his breath. He stopped in tracks and put a finger up in the air as he came with an idea. "I know. We will speak of the demonic horde. I have run into many different kinds of demons before. They come in many different shapes and forms. True demons are pure evil, wanting nothing but destruction and chaos. I know this from experience. I have had to fight off demons for the life of others and for my very own. They are not an easy battle to win. Their evil passion is their strength. I do not know if any of you have heard of a demon named Botteusai in the land of Imythess, I know Jasmine has heard of him." He looked to Jasmine with a look that calmed her. "Botteusai is one the most powerful demons there are. The Great Evil One let him come unto this world not long ago.... He is a new evil." Jahesd paused a moment, looking to the ground. Memories of the Old Age were starting to flood his mind. He looked at the students again and continued with this history. "I hope you all do not mind me telling you of this demon."

Jasmine of Laurudy - November 20, 2004 03:45 AM (GMT)
Jasmine shifted in her seat. She knew this question was directed toward her. She looked at Instuctor Jahesd, feeling as though Botteusai would jump through the door at any moment now. Everything Jahesd said about Botteusai was true. He really was very powerful and evil. She feared him so. "I don't mind instructor. Go ahead and tell of this Botteusai you speak of. I want to hear more of him. If you know of any weaknesses, then please say so." She leaned forward, now interested and eager to hear of any weaknesses that this demon possessed.

Zorgn - November 20, 2004 05:08 PM (GMT)
No! The demon inside him screamed, Botteusai shall not be killed by her! Elder demons shall not die at her hands! Listen and kill her if Botteusai is put in danger! This was getting to be a bit much for him. Having a demon inside his head and screaming orders was beginning to get to him.

Zorgn struck back at his demon mentor. Shut up in there. Yell any more and I swear I'll get a few priests to go after your hide. Treat me like scum again and you'll be back in that hell hole you call home. The demon shrinked away at the mention of the abyss. Zorgn had been his ticket out, and going back was not an option.

Master Ace - November 20, 2004 11:27 PM (GMT)
"Demons are less of a battle than one might think, I guess at least for myself. Though the victory for myself has always ment certainly loss elsewhere.... Who is the Great Evil One he speaks of. Such a name could be added to thousands, though prehaps not truthfully. More so if this Botteusai even did exist on this plane I am sure that anyone with knowledge of him would likely be attempting to make better use of their time than teaching a few students some simple magic," Master Ace thought to himself.
"We don't mind, but who exactly is "The Great Evil One" that you speak of?" Master Ace asked curiously.

Jahesd - November 21, 2004 09:12 AM (GMT)
Jahesd smiled and looked at Master Ace. "The Great Evil One is an Ancient. He sold his soul for power and might. He was condemned to hell for all of eternity and nothing else. His name is Jahesofmeli. I am named after him, he is my father. He was the leader of the tribe and the most powerful in Wythia. He had gone corrupt after some time and eventually ended up condemning himself. He was very persausive and gained high ranking in hell. He had an army of millions. If you have ever fought in any of the great wars of angels and demons, then you may have seen him standing tall, commanding his army. He found Botteusai amongst the billions of demons down there and gained a liking in him. Botteusai soon became his right hand man and committed the evil deeds he was told to do. My father soon let Botteusai roam free on this planet. He no more destroys cities or large communities if he does not have to. He is searching for a select few."

"Demons use dark magic fused with hatred and anger. Dark magic comes from dark matter. It is simple, no dark matter, no dark magic. Unlike a demon, you do not need to have hatred or anger to use dark magic. The magic would be stronger if you did have those emotions running through you, but they are not necessary. When you use any kind of magic, your soul, you entity, your........ personna if you will is pretty much saying 'Ok let's manipulate this type of matter.' Do you understand what I am saying?" Jahesd looked at the students.

Zorgn - November 21, 2004 07:27 PM (GMT)
This was interestng, but Zorgn had his own ideas on how to use dark magic. For power, no price was too much to pay. He spoke up in a quiet voice that could be heard throughout the room, "Understood. But hatered is still the best fuel for dark magic. I wonder, why have you not mentioned the sacrifices used in the dark quest for power? Are you trying to filter how we see this magic?"

Jasmine of Laurudy - November 22, 2004 12:19 AM (GMT)
Jasmine looked at Zorgn with a confused expresison on her face. "What do you mean Zorgn? A sacrafice to make when using dark magic?" Jasmine looked Jahesd but she asked Zorgn and wanted an answer from him. She kept to glancing at Master Ace. What is he doing here? she thought. He doesnt even need to be here. He obviously knows much about magic. He is another magister, he should go teach a class or something. Jasmine looked at Zorgn and waited for an answer.

Master Ace - November 22, 2004 12:55 AM (GMT)
"Magic is best used no emotional attatchment in regards to casting. Such spells can increase in power but cuase harm to the caster, are likely to backfire or put the caster at the risk of suffering from the spell as well. But more so with the absence of the emotion the spell would be useless. Demons use dark matter as all other beings. There are demons that have broken away from their nature and are pure of heart. Magic both light and dark is open to them and they need no haterd to cast either. As for your father, I should like to learn more of him after class in the magister's lounge if you don't mind," Master Ace replied to Jahesd.

"Of course there are sacrifices when using dark magic. There are even sacrifices when casting holy magic," Ace calmy said in answer to Jasmine's question.

"Zorgn, you pipe down. You know that I for one will make sure that the full spectrum is available to students, and for the love of the gods he has not yet done anything to attempt to filter out your path to darkness," Ace calmly replied to Zorgn.

Aces eyes returned to Jahesd waiting for him to continue.

Zorgn - November 22, 2004 07:23 PM (GMT)
Zorgn looked over at Jasmine, "Sacrifices of the flesh, the soul, and the mind. I've lost a bit of each. They are some effects of using dark magic. The magic extracts it's price if it is used." Zorgn looked at Ace after his little rant, "I know my path. I say he is filtering out the darkness for others. If they cannot stand the truth they should not learn anything about the magic." Zorgn thought for a moment of demonstrating one of the sacrifices, but decided against it. It was a ghastly sight.

Jasmine of Laurudy - November 25, 2004 03:00 AM (GMT)
Jasmine looked at Zorgn and smiled. She looked to Master Ace and then to Instructor Jahesd. She looked back at Zorgn and wondered for a moment. "Why do you not perform a simple black spell for us Zorgn? If it is alright with instructor Jahesd, then I would you to show me what it is that I cannot stand. What is this truth that I cannot stand? I would like to see." She looked at Jahesd with look that asked if it was alright for Zorgn to perform a spell.

Jahesd - November 25, 2004 03:43 AM (GMT)
Jahesd chuckled a bit and recognized the fiestyness in Jasmine's voice. He slightly shook his head and repied to Jasmine," Perhaps you should settle down a bit Jasmine. Zorgn, if you wish, you may show us what black magic results in. I was getting to what sacrafices are made when using black magic." He looked to Zorgn and saw if he would perform his magic or not. Jahesd looked to Master Ace and said," Since I like a variety and different veiws on magic, I would like Master Ace to conclude the lesson after Zorgn makes his magic, that is if he does."

Sophia - November 25, 2004 07:05 AM (GMT)
Taking a small peek from the enterance of the class-room, Sophia was curious, she wanted to know what went on in the class room, and what was being taught, before she walked in and interupted class. She really wanted to learn magic and learn more about battlemages. She couldnt resist, she had to walk in.
Sophia walked in class, and took a seat as if she didnt even walk in, she acted like she had already been in class. She hoped that she wouldnt get into trouble for walking in to class like this.

Jahesd - November 25, 2004 05:18 PM (GMT)
Jahesd watched the girl come into class, trying not to laugh. The lesson was almost over, and she walks in like class has not even started yet. Still trying not to laugh, he shook his head. "You are so late my dear. You have only come in time to see a spell performed and to hear a closing of the lesson from Master Ace." He looked at Master Ace and smiled, trying not to laugh. He turned to Zorgn and waived his hand, waiting to see if Zorgn would perform or not.

Sophia - November 27, 2004 01:14 PM (GMT)

"Im so sorry for being late." Sophia said. She was hoping not to get in trouble as she interupted the closing of the lesson. She raised her hand for a question. And quickly without being called on she said, "Majister can I talk to you at the end of class, I need ask you somthing." Again she hoped that she didnt interupt the lesson. She was just impatient and was eager to learn from the Majister right away.

Zorgn - November 29, 2004 12:59 AM (GMT)
(Damn Thanksgiving. A week off and I can't get on. Sorry for the late reply.)

Zorgn stood up and looked The girl in the eyes. "I need not show you a spell. The aftermath is just fine for this." Zorgn opened the top of his shirt a bit and looked at a spreading black and green rot. He was slowly becoming just as decayed as his wings. "Over time you begin to rot. Body, mind, and soul. No immediate signs are visible, but the more you use the magic, the more of you it rots away."

Zorgn buttoned his shirt back up. He outstreched his rotting wings and shook them. A rain of rotting flesh fell to the floor. "For four hundred years I have labored in the dark arts. See what it can do?"

(I know I am dead in anoher topic. After this topic, I am but a ghost.)

Sophia - November 29, 2004 01:47 AM (GMT)

Sophia was frightened but yet disgusted at what she had seen. The man had just dropped pounds of flesh from his rotted skin. "Eww! Thats nasty, your gross!" Sophia had said digustedly. "Oops, sorry, did I say that out loud?" She qusetioned.
Sophia came in the class to learn, not to put anyone down. "Umm... Majister, can I talk to you after class is finished?" Though class was about to be over and then she could have the time to speak to the Majister.

Master Ace - November 29, 2004 01:55 AM (GMT)
( Vampires are practically dead anyways. Zorgn is such a drama king)
Ace rolled his eyes after Zorgn's words. Ace felt that he shouldn't even bother correcting Zorgn's totaly incorrect statement. If what what zorgn said was true, many necromancers that Ace knew would be dead or undead themselves and a few count ove a dozen centuroies for their age. Ace wondered how much of those four hundred years Zorgn had spent at a vampire. Ace quickly returned his mind to Jahesd. "No, no. I am not here to take the spotlight from another. I may like to make an interjection here and there, but I leave the introduction and conclusion to yourself. I have my own class to tend to in a few hours," Ace replied.

"Wow! The one time someone actually comes in late and I do mean late, they think they are on time," Ace thought to himself as he watched Sophia.
(A ghost? Un-undead, but still undead! The world once again makes no sense)

Sophia - November 29, 2004 02:13 AM (GMT)

(hahah! drama king. thats funny.)

Sophia was bored so she decided to scribble on her paper and draw little childish cartoons of Ace hanging Zorgn by the neck while Ace was laughing evily. But these were childish things to do. She then passed the drawing to Jasmine to show her what she had drawn. Sophia giggled as she handed it to Jasmine.

Zorgn - November 29, 2004 06:38 PM (GMT)
(Laugh all you want. So I like to ham it up a bit. Makes it a bit more interesting, no?)

Zorgn looked over at the newcomer. silently he wondered if he should just kill her for that insult. Why not? I kill everywhere else, but why fight in the one place I have for momentary peace? My one refuge will no longer be open if I break this rule. Zorgn seethed inside and decided to let the girl live.

"May I sit down now? One of your students apparently didn't like my little display, I wish to offend her no more." Zorgn's only reason for wanting to sit down was to escape any further insults from the girl.

(I'm good at that ain't I?)

Slayer - December 1, 2004 03:46 AM (GMT)

The peacefull class were having good times learining about magic, and demonstraiting their abilities. While that was going on, Slayer had walked in very rudley," Where would I be able to find the man that teaches magic, answer me!" He demanded. He couldnt help but take a look at this character Ace. Slayer was starring him down as if he were some worthless child. He made eye contact with him . He waited for an answer. "Oh and Im sorry as I was truly rude as I walked in here, I lose my temperment very quick, your Magister. Please forgive me."

(To Ace:happy?)

Master Ace - December 1, 2004 11:23 PM (GMT)
(Yes are good at making little since Zorgn. The suicide thing was interesting though)
Ace rolled his eyes. He was slightly annoyed hat Zorgn would even pay attention to whatever childish deed Sophia had accomplished, but glad that Zorgn had controled himself as he always did in class. Ace didn't even bother turn his eye to see what it was that Sophia was giggling about. But he could also be inferring to Sophia's thinking out loud which was rude of her no matter which way you looked at it. "You can seat down, Zorgn," Ace replied. Shortly after his reply Slayer burst through the door. Ace quickly shot up to his full height and duplicated Slayer's foul gaze. Ace was about to make a dark reply to mimic the rudess of Slayer's demand, but Slayer apoligized before Ace opened his mouth. "I suppose you can be forgiven. In any case, working on your manners would surely make learning easier. There are many who teach magic, but taking a wild guess you would have the best odds learning from myself," Ace replied almost emotionlesly.

Zorgn - December 2, 2004 06:57 PM (GMT)
(I thought you'd like my death. I had to go out with a bang.)

Zorgn glanced at the intruder. He felt something, kinship maybe, for the man. He was evil, like Zorgn himself, and unafraid to show it. He was too quick to back down though.

Sitting down though was occupying his mind more at the moment. The room might explode into hositilties at any moment. Contrary to his nature, Zorgn would fight to protect the academy. He would not lose his sanctuary for a chance to kill Ace.

Sophia - December 3, 2004 12:47 AM (GMT)

Sophia was frightened when she had heard the door slam open. It made a loud echoeing sound. And she saw how rudely he came bursting in. This made her angry, the fact that she had been frightened and the way that he spoke to majister.
*stupid idiot who does he think he is barging in here like an insane lunatic, what a fool*
She thought to her self.

(OOC: HEY WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE SLAYER! <_< )

Zorgn - December 3, 2004 07:06 PM (GMT)
Zorgn shook off his thoughts and sat down. He silently wished he had his umbra here. They were an interesting lot and were very useful. They could see in absolute dark and had ears that could hear many times better than Zorgn's poor ears could. They also keep people from sneaking up on me. I don't like sneaky people. Zorgn glancedout the window and was surprised to see Vorite sitting out there in the shade of a tree, waiting for his master along with Hugin and Munin. I'll have a regular circus if I get too many more creatures around me. I'll have to be careful what I pick up from now on.

falcotank386 - December 21, 2004 01:06 PM (GMT)
Mithranduir woke up late that mourning but good thing he didn't stay far from the Academy of Magic. So he approached the close door and there seemed like alot of noise was coming out of there so he cast bless and hoped it would calm everyone down. Then he filled the room with obscuring mists (storm chanter PrC) and used his new gaseous form to enter the classroom and he sat down in one of the chairs and waited for someone to open a window or dissapate it some how.
