Ahren walked into the training arena of the Acadamy, arriving early in the morning to report to his new job. He felt a thrill of excitement that he would be teaching here, it was something that had always appealed to him. He set his small bag against the wall, and leaned his bow against the wall also, he doubted that he would be training many ranged fighters. Taking his two fighting knives, he began warming up, performing a few simple exercises that would help him be prepared for when any students came to train. He swung his knives in intricate patterns, listening to them hum through the air. This would turn out to be an interesting day if all went well, and he might even have a ranged fighter come out for a spell.
Ahren took a short break, getting a quick drink of water before going back to the training circle. Sweat trickled down his brow as the sun rose higher in the sky, he had thought that more people would have arrived by now. He had only been here a few times before, so he didn't know when it officially opened. He stopped suddenly, and walked over to his bag. Sheathing his knives, he stored them inside his bag, and sat against the wall, waiting for someone to arrive.
Jahesd walked into the training arena with curiosity. He did not fight much with weapons as he was a magic user, but he thought that he should train himself just incase anything ever did happen. He came to a man leaning against the wall and wondered if he was the instructor or a student. Jahesd set his things down and greated him self,"Hello there. I am Jahesd. Are you an instructor or a student?"
Ahren looked up at the sound of someone addressing him. He was glad to see that someone had finally arrived, it would make the time pass more quickly. "Yes, I am one of the new teachers. Do you need some practice in fighting?" Ahren looked over this person, trying to guess what type of weapon they would normally use. He could just ask the person, but he liked to try and guess just to see how good he was at judging people. Ahren summoned some wind, having it enter into the arena to try and cool things down a little, it would make it easier to teach if he didn't have to worry about the students feinting from the heat.
