Lilith stood at the bank of the river, watching as it curved far as the eye could see. It was a strange thing, finding such a beautiful river in the middle of the desolate wasteland. She leaned down and stared at her reflection as it wavered and disappeared in the depths of the water. It was oddly deep and when Lilith’s finger danced on the surface, it was chilly. It was a refreshing site after the long walk throughout the desert. She wasn’t sure where she was headed, just knew something was calling to her. Besides, she hadn’t roamed the Istan Desert for quite some time. She had thought the river was just a mirage, but now she was quite convinced it was real. Not wanting to spoil the site, she sat down next to the river and did not touch it for fear it would disappear. She sighed happily and very slowly touched the water again.

Allanon had been travling the desert for days now. It seemed as if it was never going to end. He had just made his way off the mountain and into the desert. After fighting armies of snow orcs and one frost dragon, he was cut and bleeding. It was a hot day. Probley like any other day. He didnt mind it at all. He had Bloodclaw beside of him. Bloodclaw knew the best trails that anyone could ever find. Allanon looked at him and Bloodclaw looked up at him. Bloodclaw relized what he had wanted and he began to take off towards the north.
Bloodclaw came to a river. Allanon stared down into it like it was the first time he had seen water. Bloodclaw then had his attention brought to a girl sitting across from the river. It was somewaht wierd. Allanon suddenly felt the water. It was real and refreshing. Allanon jumped in making a huge splash. But Bloodclaw kept his attention to the girl across ths stream. "Whats amatter, Bloodclaw?" he asked. He looked in his direction and saw the girl to.

Lilith questioned her sanity the moment she saw a large tiger-like man jump into the river, splashing it onto the banks. Then she noticed a smaller tiger, although this one did not look inclined to talk, and knew she must have been in the heat too long. She blinked a few times, and then splashed the cold water on her face, once again staring at her reflection. She looked perfectly normal. Turning back to the scene she had just witnessed, she saw the mirage had not vanished. “Hello?” She called out slightly confused.

He swam over to the bank edge and lifted himself out of the water. He wondered who she was and what she was doing here. He suddenly heard her voice. She was confused no doubt, but why? Allanon lifted his hand and said, "Hello, Stranger." he said in a kind voice, "Is it not a nice day today?". He wondered if he had said alittle to much. He then slowly looked down at the water and relized he was still the same person. He looked back up at her, and smiled. "Trust me, for i will not harm you in anyway." he said. He had his hand on his sword just incase she attacked him. "Do not lose your focus, Allanon. Remember that she could attack you because you are a tiger." he thought.

The tiger-like man seemed to be friendly and real. She reached out her hand and touched his furry face just to make sure. When she confirmed that he was in fact real, she replied. “Hello Sir. I am comforted by your words. It has been many days since I crossed another being. This desert is extremely desolate and I must admit, I believed you were just a mirage. But now I understand you are not. Please forgive me if I have been rude.” She smiled brightly for she was happy to see another. “Would you like to join me? Oh and you have such a beautiful…companion over there.” She glanced towards the tiger waiting by the bank. He seemed suspicious of her.
