Selena Starling - November 15, 2004 05:36 PM (GMT)
Selena lay in a tall, fresh field, lazilly watching some leaves dance in the early fall wind. She had taken the day of, so to speak. And had decided that today was the day she would spend outdoors. Relaxing and reflecting.

She put her hand to her face to block the bright shining sunlight and looked up.
Yes, we have a perfect, blue sky today, she said to herself. She smiled, content. She loved days like these. When she could just sit back and stop running around for a while. She had been on so many quests lately, she could barely even remember when the last time had been when she had enjoyed a fine day like this.
Must be quite a while ago...

She rolled on her side and took a look in her backpack.
Let's just see what I packed while I was still half asleep, she joked, searching for something to suit her appetite. She found a beautiful, spotless apple, red like a million poppies. She closed her eyes and took a big bite out of it.

Perfect. Just perfect... She sighed deep. Just like this entire day. With a perfect, blue sky, perfect, nice flowers, a cool, little breeze, no bees or other insects of the sort...and above all...a perfect, perfect shining sun keeping me warm with its kind light. Like the torch of love itself. Like the...

Suddenly large shadow appeared, making it grow dark around her. She groaned, then quickly opened her eyes.

Incubo_Mortale - November 15, 2004 09:05 PM (GMT)
Off in the distance Incubo was trudging along, hoping not to get attacked by a wild animal. Suddenly he heard a very far away voice. It was very muffled but he could make out "...perfect, blue sky..." He looked back up at the sky to notice is was a deep purple with cloads racing across it. Then he looked in the direction of where the voice had come from and saw what seemed to be a woman laying down and a backpack at her side. He wondered if this woman as delusional or somewhat blind. He put away his dagger but left his cloak on just in case she was alarmed by his presence. "Excuse me, Miss!" Incubo yelled out as he started walking over to her...

Allanon was making his way to Norwood that day. It was a fair day, nothing new or changed. It was just like yesterday, and the day before. It was almost as if this world had stoped just for him. Allanon knew that the journy to Norwood would take a while, but that was no trouble. He would continue on like everyone else. Everyone always had something to do and places to go. Expect that Allanon was on his way for a very important matter.

At his side, his noble friend, Bloodclaw, traveled with him. Bloodclaw was a tiger and Allanon's pet. Trained like every other animal, expect with differnt ablilites. Allanon always took Bloodclaw along with him. Even if it was a journy of a thousand miles, or having to explore the deepest darkest dungeon of this land, Bloodclaw was always there.

But other matters were intended now. All Allanon worried about was getting to Norwood in time. Looking up into the dark sky, the site of a beautiful sun faced him. Allanon had never seen the light of day for so long now. It was only three days of light where he had came back from. But then darkness settled over the land, and the battle began. Allanon quickly forgot about that, knowing that only one thing matter. Getting to Norwood.

Selena Starling - November 15, 2004 10:49 PM (GMT)
Selena had opened her eyes and suddenly noticed someone was standing right by her side, bent slightly over her, to see what she was doing. It startled her a bit to see this person, this man, appear from out of nowhere. Yet she assumed he hadn't meant it that way and gave him and his sudden presence the benefit of doubt. She swallowed, sat up straight and put her apple in her lap.

With big eyes and a nice smile she looked at him. ''Ehm, hello there. How are you doing? Were you also going for a stroll on this fine day. She looked around.

Well, at least here the sun was shining. The weather in Imythess was often just like magic and could be very much different only a few miles away. Yet here, under this blossom tree and under this bright shining sun, the sky was clear. Just blue, nothing else.

''Might I be so kind as you learn your name? If yes, then I will return the favor. I always like to know who I am talking to.''

Incubo looked at the beautiful young woman. He had obviously startled her in her slumber. He felt a warm sensation on his back and turned to see the sky was clear and the sun was vibrant. Odd weather here, but indeed it was a perfect day... Incubo thought.

"A thousand apologies m'am, I did not mean to awake you. I thought perhaps you were injured. I was walking, but just about a mile back it wasn't such a wonderful day. My name is Incubo Mortale. Pleased to meet you."

He knelt on one knee and kissed the woman's hand and gave her a warm smile. After a year in Imythess he'd learned the correct manners around a woman but still, he could lash out at any given moment. He hoped it wouldn't happen now.

Allanon noticed the two of them. He had walked far down the trail. He wondered if he should keep going, or watch what would happen. He stoped and chuckled abit. Bloodclaw looked at him and cocked his head giving a slight huh kind of noice. He looked down at Bloodclaw and smiled, "Can you not see it, Bloodclaw? The humans? Can you not see it? I will wait for you to find out." he said.

Allanon gave him a few seconds to figure it then Bloodclaw nodded. Allanon smiled and sat down. Bloodclaw laid beside him. "You know Bloodclaw, i wish i was a human. I wouldnt be as tortured as much, i could visit every city, and i wouldnt have to worry about wild animals." he said. Bloodclaw gave a small whine and Allanon looked down, "Dont worry Bloodclaw, if i didnt have you, life wouldnt be worth living for me. Your the only friend i have in this world.".

Bloodclaw laid his head on his paws and watched. It was a beautiful sight. It was almost as good as anything he had ever seen. He knew if they saw him, they would probley attack him. Bloodclaw closed his eyes and fell asleep. It had been a long day for them, and all they wanted to do was watch and see what happened.
