Title: A Leisurely Stroll
Description: Kuya

Bahamut - November 13, 2004 04:34 PM (GMT)
Bahamut was on the shore of Imythess. "This is where I came into this world." He shakes with laughter. "How fitting." He smirks. The wind blew across his green-scaled skin, his clawed hands at his side, clawed feet gripping the sand. "Well, maybe they'll hear from here....." He shrugs

"Alone for a while I've been searching through the dark,
For traces of the love you left inside my lonely heart.
To weave by picking up the pieces that remain. Melodies of Life-Love's lost refrain.

Our paths they did cross, though I cannot say just why,
We met, we laughed, we held on fast, and then we said good-bye,
And who'll hear the echoes of stories never told?
Let them ring out loud till they unfold.

In my dearest memories, I see you reaching out to me.
Though you're gone, I still believe that you can call out my name.

A voice from the past, joining yours and mine.
Adding the layers of harmony.
And so it goes, on and on.
Melodies of life.
To the sky beyond the flying birds-forever and beyond.

So far and away, see the bird as it flies,
Gliding through the shadows of the clouds up in the sky,
I've laid my memories, do you remember loving me?
Leave them now and see what tomorrow brings.

In your dearest memories, do you remember loving me?
Was it fate that brought us close and now leaves me behind? A voice from the past, joining yours and mine.
Adding the layers of harmony.
And so it goes, on and on.
Melodies of life.
To the sky beyond the flying birds-forever and beyond.

If should I leave this lonely world behind.
Your voice will still remember our melody.
Now I know we'll carry on.
Melodies of Life.
Come circle round and grow deep in our hearts, as long as we
remember."

He listens for a while. "Hm, no answer. Oh well."

Kuya - November 13, 2004 04:41 PM (GMT)
Kuya looked up. He was napping in a hand made hammock somewhere under the sahde of tall trees when he heard a voice singing. Not a flowing voice like a woman's, a manly one, but that of a bard's. He got of the hammock and wrapped it, and put it to the side. He followed where he heard the voice and saw a shady character, almost dragon-like. He walked up to the being and said; "Hello, you have a wonderful voice..." Kuya said smiling.

Bahamut - November 13, 2004 04:44 PM (GMT)
He turns around to llok at the man. "Thank........Kuya? Is that you? It's me, Bahamut." He looks at the man before him. "I forgot that you had fallen as well....."He shrugs. "Oh well, how ya been?"

Kuya - November 13, 2004 04:50 PM (GMT)
Kuya tried not to stare and open his mouth gawkingly. "Why if it isn't Bahamut!....I have been worrying as of late, but no matter. How have you been doing my friend? Is the world treating you well?" Kuya said sarcastically. Another fallen god. Kuya wondered if Bahamut resigned his position or if he was kicked out by the counsel.

Bahamut - November 13, 2004 04:57 PM (GMT)
He shrugs. "Eh, not great. Got kicked out, and got Demonic Infused and Snake Charmer. Now I'm like this, and have some snake stuff to. How is life treating you? Any better?"

Kuya - November 13, 2004 05:01 PM (GMT)
Kuya smiled. "I think my life is better now, than when I was a god. Because I can interact with people better, without them bowing at every corner. Besides, I think the gods today are a bit more serious than we were but, I think we thought ahead alot more." Kuya said chuckling a bit.

(OOC: I will be back later tonight, my dad wants on... :( )

Bahamut - November 13, 2004 05:17 PM (GMT)
He chuckles as well. "Yes, we were more thoughtful. Oh well. I never was formal, though." He grins slightly. "Hmmm....." He thought he felt something, like a Celestial, but he couldn't place it.

(OOC:Ok, i wonder y Kuya doesnt react to Bahamut being Demonic Infused....)

Kuya - November 13, 2004 11:27 PM (GMT)
(OOC: Cuz if the person hasn't done anything to him, why hate him/her :P )

"So I heard you started a demonic infused guild? How is that coming along?" Kuya said, without hellping feling strange. He was the trainer of the infused celestials, and here he was talking to a leader of a group of a group of them.

Bahamut - November 13, 2004 11:38 PM (GMT)
He nods."Ok, I guess. No other members yet. I just hope we aren't destroyed by any darn Celestial Infused once it gets up and running."He frowns.

Kuya - November 14, 2004 12:00 AM (GMT)
Kuya smiled at him. "Do not worry, I will make sure they won't. As long as you don't harm any innocents, but other than that our parties should be fine." Kuya said, hoping that Bahamut got the hint. Just in case he didn't Kuya released his silvery white wings. Spanned them to full width, then folded them again. Kuya gave out the idea to Bahamut that he was a celestial infused.

Bahamut - November 14, 2004 12:25 AM (GMT)
"I thought I sensed a Celestial. Well, I can't guarantee it, but I'll try, I suppose."He didn't really intend to, not much, but he was an expert liar, so could keep a straight face. He smiles."So then. How's life. Boring, for me."

Kuya - November 14, 2004 12:30 AM (GMT)
"Boring eh? Why don't you find yourself a decent battle. For me, I can only really describe my life of past as...busy. Because of the rise of the demonic Infused, would you not think that the Gods will call for a war to entertain themselves? So I have been preparing...myself and my spirit. Yes none have come to the training valley. It gets me mad." Kuya said looking up into the sky.

Bahamut - November 14, 2004 02:04 AM (GMT)
He smirks. "Well, don't get too mad, or you might go evil on us. That would be very interesting."He looks around, the wind picking up. "Looks like a storm is coming......figures."He shrugs, looking back to Kuya

Kuya - November 14, 2004 02:29 AM (GMT)
Kuya looked up as strong winds threatened to move those dark wind-filled clouds toward them. Yes...the world is changing... Kuya said to himself. Should we find some shelter, or just sit here. Me, I do not mind the rain, sometimes it feels refreshing, lke it's washing away all my worries. But I know the next day, my worries come back to haunt me again." Kuya said with a childish smile.

Varila - November 14, 2004 02:32 AM (GMT)
Far off in the distance, Varila sat on the shores, her form altered entirely and her divine power masked. For now she was just a girl, sitting on the beach. In this form her hair was long and black, with a glossy sheen to it. Her eyes were the deepest, darkest brown that she could conjure with the spell and she was considerably shorter. Clothed in a loose blue gown, she felt the waves wash up on her bare feet. It felt better to be normal sometimes, but she would not resign her position. The council still valued those who stayed, and she would not be another fallen deity.

"'Just a girl,'" she muttered, drawing a circle in the sand with a stick. Looking up, she saw Kuya and Bahamut, Bahamut in that volatile serpentine form. How one could surrender their entire being like that she did not know, but tears rolled down her cheeks from the song that Bahamut had been singing. It brought back the memory of the one night that they had had together, of the time that they had gone into her home in Taras. All of those memories were bittersweet fragments of the past, things that she wished to forget.

Bahamut - November 17, 2004 11:14 PM (GMT)
He shakes his head. "I want to stay out, in the rain. I love water, which is ironic, considering my past position."He smiles slightly, then looks around. He sees a girl sitting on the beach. "Hm....."He shrugs, then walks over to her, motioning Kua to follow. When he gets to her, he squats down, looking at her. "Hello, girl. Who are you?" His face was blank, unsmiling.

Kuya - November 18, 2004 09:41 PM (GMT)
Kuya followed. In his time, he picked up the ability to sense any Gods or Godesses when they were near him. This was a perfect example of how gods and goddesses took innocent looking forms. "Come out Varila, you came to see Bahamut. I will walk around while you two catch up." and gave Bahamut a wink, and started to walk away.

As Kuya's memory served him, Varila was one of the Gods that seemed to despise him. He wondered why a handful of people disliked him. First Lamya, hunting him, then demon bounty hunters. Kuya pondered about this as hard rain pelted at his face.

Varila - November 21, 2004 12:11 AM (GMT)
Her form returned to what it was originally as she looked up at Bahamut with her tear-stained face. "Well," she said coldly, "we meet again." Her eyes were cool and collected as she watched him, making sure that he wouldn't make any sudden moves. "You may stay with us, Kuya, she called after the former deity. In truth, she had rarely seen him, and was unsure as to what he was like personally.

"I see you are haunted by what you left to die," she continued. "It just proves that the future can be changed. Instead of dying wrapped in the wings of a majestic creature, I gaze upon this deformity that you have become." Her voice was enough to make winter shiver as she glared daggers at him. Such forfeiture could hardly be justified.

Bahamut - November 27, 2004 02:54 AM (GMT)
He merely shrugs to all of this. "I am who I am, no more, and no less."He sits down, sighing. "So, how's life with Kore and the divine? Anything interesting going on, or is it as boring as it was when I got kicked out?"

Varila - November 28, 2004 09:44 PM (GMT)
"Fine," she said. "This is not you, though. I thought perhaps that you had the dignity to make it on your own instead of enlisting the help of such a foul creature. There is something that I need to ask of you though." She softened her gaze and looked up at him seriously.

"I need you to take care of Arreila, when she is old enough to understand the way of the world. I don't want the mind of my own daughter poisoned by politics." She hoped that he would say yes, and that she would be able to have an easy mind with Arreila off of it for a while.

How could she let her own daughter live in the world of Taras? She would be much safer with Bahamut, and his manner would most likely end up being much gentler than hers.

Bahamut - December 1, 2004 11:10 PM (GMT)
He blinks in surprise."Well. that's unexpected.....but yes, of course I will. Why wouldn't I?"He smiles slightly. "Thank you for asking me this. I'll take good care of her."

Varila - December 1, 2004 11:27 PM (GMT)
"It is part of your right as a father," she said and embraced him as thanks. "Arreila will be with Laron for a while before she comes to you, but it shouldn't be any problem." She smiled and then backed away, rather uncomfortable.

"What made you do this, though?" she asked, pity in her eyes. "Why did you forfeit your being to become a demon like this?" She looked up into his eyes sadly, remembering when he had been real, not just a spirit or some demonic creature like this repulsive shell.

Bahamut - December 1, 2004 11:33 PM (GMT)
"Rage. Anger. Hatred. Many reasons. But, It is me now....."He pulls up the sleeve of his shirt, to reveal a black Demonic writing up his arm " 'With this mark, we seal you to us, eidolon of Gaia.' That is what it says. I am sealed...."He sighs."No turning back now."

Varila - December 15, 2004 12:09 AM (GMT)
"I see," she sighed, looking away into the waves. "So I suppose you've moved on well enough, as have I." She couldn't bear to gaze upon her past at the moment as she sat there, then drew her cloak about her, wishing that she didn't have to confront him like this, to hear him talk like some common person again. It wasn't the man that she had known. He had become sophisticated enough to realize that she would only be offended by such commonplace words.

The sun seemed dulled as she gazed at it sidelong. How could she do this in a way that wouldn't reopen old scars?

Bahamut - December 18, 2004 04:20 PM (GMT)
He sighs."I had to move on, didn't I? I lost my divinity, then you moved on to someone else. I had to, or be left behind....."He looks out to the ocean, humming the song he had been singing earlier.

Varila - December 29, 2004 04:37 AM (GMT)
"Stop!" she said, her eyes going wide as she heard that song. "It...it brings back too many memories. Like how we spent the night in that cavern, in the rain with those other people. I left, but...." She looked away, fighting to keep control of herself. "It reminds me of us and how we used to be, but worst of all....Arreila." A lonely tear drizzled down her cheek at mention of Arreila. "She is your child, but how can I bear the burden of knowing that I have borne a child for another man and betrayed him. I know that I shouldn't have left you, but I knew the night after that destiny..."

There she stopped the flood of emotions, wishing that she hadn't said any of those things. They were too painful even to think about. Yet he had betrayed her too before she had cast him aside. He had looked at that disgusting fairy fondly instead of her. Why didn't she have the same right to do so?
