Title: Nightshades Curse...
Description: ...
Nightshade - November 12, 2004 08:30 PM (GMT)
Nightshade entered the arena hoping for a challenger... knowing the promise he kept with an ancient one, he declared his challenge...
"I will challenge anyone who will dare to accept. If you beat me, I shall be your mount... but if you fail... death awaits you... for it's my curse... I have no choice lest my immortality fails... and thus would perish...
But know that you must have the ability to ride ceaslessly to mount me..."
Nightshade waited for a challenger, hoping that there would be someone to take on a centaur... bound by a curse... but to some, a blessing...
Jasmine of Laurudy - November 12, 2004 09:01 PM (GMT)
Jasmine stepped into the arena and looked at the centaur. "Oh look. A horsie." she said sarcasticly. She walked toward the centaur and drew her sword. "I will take up your challenge." she said. She got in the ready position, ready to strike and second.
Kuya - November 12, 2004 09:13 PM (GMT)
Kuya entered the arena with his usual twin angelic swords and his celestial chain guard. Other than the guard, his upper body was bare. He fond that two beings were inside the arena getting ready to fight. Kuya took a seat in the stands. If they wanted him to fight he would gladly except the melee invitation.
Nightshade - November 12, 2004 09:15 PM (GMT)
"Very well..." Nightshade says... "My name is Nightshade. And may the best one win.." taking his bow out, he readied himself for battle"Prepare yourself. For I never miss..." He took battle stance, and awaited her first move...
seeing a man, he said... "You may join the battle too... but know that the curse's law would state that the challengers cannot team together... and I can only have one master..."
Kuya - November 12, 2004 09:18 PM (GMT)
He watched the centaur take out his bow and say those arrogant words. If he truly never misses then, this battle was already over.... If the centaur defeated the girl, Kuya would have to step in... He looked at one of his angelic swords and took out a diamond from his sack. He started to sharpen his blade...
"I will wait then..." he replyed to the cantaur's remark towards him.
Jasmine of Laurudy - November 12, 2004 09:36 PM (GMT)
With unexpected speed, Jasmine ran and jumped into the air over the centaur and threw flames of fairy fire in front of the centaur's face to distract him. While the fire fell to his face, she landed behind him and ran to his back and readied her katana to make a swift swing. Her hair elegantly followed her wherever she went. It looked as though she was not running or running. Her hair moved as though it was calmly flowing in water.
((OOC: Sorry guys but I gotta go. I will try to get back into it tonight. I've gotta do laundry. <_< .))
Nightshade - November 12, 2004 10:02 PM (GMT)
Nightshade was impressed... if anything, she knew how to battle...
remembering a simular situation in another land, he decided to quickly turn and shoot... tageting her heart... but ready to gallop forward at a moment's notice... [precise shot]
"impressive, but know that you have probably lost already... regretfully..."
He hoped that she would be able to survive the attack... but suspected that the one arrow he shot already killed her...
Kuya - November 12, 2004 11:10 PM (GMT)
Kuya watched the battle eagerly. The only battles he was in were large mass wars which, you slice and dice, your intentions on every enemy on the battle field. But this was it. This was what defined battle as an art, the flowing grace of a warrior, the accuracy of a crack-shot archer going one on one. He eagerly waited for his turn. But Kuya stood by ready, to heal the loser with his spells. In the meantime, he switched swords and started to sharpen it.
Jasmine of Laurudy - November 13, 2004 06:34 AM (GMT)
((OOC: Thanks for healing me Kuya.))
Jasmine got up and looked into the centaur's eyes. "You may have one this one, but the next will be mine," she said coldly. At that, she turned her back toward the creature and walked away into the shadows.
Kuya - November 13, 2004 11:11 AM (GMT)
(OOC: your welcome ;) )
Kuya watched as the graceful warrior walked away from the accurate archer. He called out; "Wait a moment!" to the lady and hoped that she could here it. "Wait after the battle!" And waited a moment before looking again into his sack of equipment. He took out a shield that gleamed just like his angelic sword, sheathed both his angelic sword, and pulled out a Holy Broadsword; a Paladin's favorite. He jumped into the arena again only with a celestial armguard and a shield to protect him. "Your move..." Kuya saw what the centaur was capable of, grant that if he only had better equipment, his opponent would stand a chance. He chanced a look back to where the lady was to see if she was returning or not.
Jasmine of Laurudy - November 13, 2004 04:32 PM (GMT)
As Jasmine was leaving the arena, she heard the voice of the friendly angel that hac healed her. She turned back and walked toward him to see what he wanted, still angry that she lost. She came out of the shadows, her wonderful hair able to be seen again in the light. She stood there, looking at Kuya, the mighty angel. There was something about him that she liked. Was she going to start taking kind to him? He just healed me you idiot! she thought. Jasmine's deep brown eyes looked into the angel's. Yes? she asked.
Kuya - November 13, 2004 04:46 PM (GMT)
Kuya smiled. "Hold on a minute centaur. He turned to look at the graceful warrior. "Will you meet me after my battle? I have something to give you...." Kuya said blushing a little. "Judgement, keep her company will you?" Kuya asked his celestial spirit.
"Sure thing my friend..." answered the spirit, and he flew twards the woman and took her hand. "This way my lady..." and led her to the stands.
Jasmine of Laurudy - November 13, 2004 04:53 PM (GMT)
Jasmine's jaw dropped. She did not know what to feel. She felt taken aback, happy and had butterflies in her stomach. She would normaly run and cause chaos from this point, but she took the spirit's hand and went the way she was lead. As she was walking with the spirit, she looked to Kuya and blushed. How awkward she thought. She really wondered why she had not done something mischievious already. Why had she not stole something from the spirirt or Kuya or the horse? She let all of her feelings go away and decided that she would deal with them later. Right now she was being led by his spirit friend, and she went with him, causing no trouble.
Kuya - November 13, 2004 04:58 PM (GMT)
"Hello, my name is Judgement." the celestial said as he led her to a seat perfect for watching the battle. "I can tell you have many other things in your mind, but anyways don't get down at losing the battle, the world is ever changing and so will you, for the better I expect. What is your name? I am afraid I did not catch it..." Judgement said in an angelic but gentle voice. Usually angelic voices are commanding.
(OOC: I will be back later tonight, my dad wants to use the computer. :( )
Jasmine of Laurudy - November 13, 2004 05:14 PM (GMT)
Jasmine looked at the celestial spirit and felt awkward. She looked down at Kuya again and then back up at the spirit. I am Jasmine. She looked deeply and studied the angel. What do you mean the world is changing and so am I? Can you predict the future? What do you see? Is it good or bad? What what what? Tell me! Jasmine was usually a brat in almost every possible situation you could be one. She would sometimes demand things and expect them right away. She sat eagerly waiting for answers from the spirit.
Kuya - November 13, 2004 06:53 PM (GMT)
Judgement merely smiled under his helmet. "I am sorry, but I cannot peak into the future. Sorry if I got your hopes up. What I meant by the world is changing, is that new gods/goddesses are being recruited, and a war is going to break loose in the future. And for you, with time, your skills of a warrior will grow for the better, so that it is called an art. That is what Kuya and I saw while you were fighting..."
Nightshade - November 13, 2004 07:44 PM (GMT)
Suddenly the curse triggered... and challenged kuya and the archon... It took the form of a scorpion, and the archon plus paladin found themselves in a limbo zone...
You saw the girl... and the world suspended... as if you were in another reality... but you could not see the centaur...
The scorpion started to speak:
"You may have revived her... but I am the curse the centaur has. I offer a choice... but only this once... battle me for YOUR and HER soul... or forfeit her soul to me in exchange for power and immortality...
There are no other options... for this is my offer. Non-Negotiable... so choose...
This is the scorpions curse... and know that ONLY YOU can see this..."
Kuya - November 13, 2004 08:41 PM (GMT)
Kuya kept his clam as darkness surrounded him, and as the devilish scorpion appeared. "You try to scare me, by making a choice...a simple one, I will no forfeit a perfect heart! And I will banish you from the other! prepare to fight!" Kuya yelled aloud. He was literally laughing at this spirit.
Judgement sensed something wrong. Both warriors had their eyes closed...no only Kuya had his closed. While the other had an evil smirk on his face. He hoped that Jasmine did not realize it.
Nightshade - November 13, 2004 08:47 PM (GMT)
Nobody could see it save the archon and the paladin... then the scorpion said...
"Very well... it looks like TWO battles may befall you then... Prepare yourself..."
Suddenly, the scorpion grew in size to be TEN times larger than you.... and started attacking you with a vengeful passion... (unless you have full resistance to fear, you are permanently paralyzed just due to the essence of this scorpion...)
(You moderate this battle... but know that this is an EPIC battle... good luck... but also know that you will be fully restored after this battle...)
Kuya - November 13, 2004 09:03 PM (GMT)
(OOC: That is sort of not allowed, my character has fought more scarier things than your scorpion... <_< )
Taking the invitation gladly, Kuya asked Judgement; "Which do you want my friend?" The scorpon's gazed held him to his ground. But Kuya managed to look away before he striked.
Excuse me for a minute Jasmine, I must go take care of something. he said stepping down from the stands to Kuya's equipment stack, he picked out the two angelic swords. Whichever is fine! Judgement called to at Kuya.
Kuya charged the scorpion, shield at his side ready to guard of any attacks, he let his wings emerge from his body to a span of twenty feet. Guess they have grown... Kuya thought to himself. "Let the lady see this! Let her know where her fate lies!" Kuya yelled out at the scorpion.
Judgement also flew into the air, with a wingspan far surpassing Kuya, forty feet. But he landed when he was near enough to the centaur. You have been ready, so make your move...We will deprive you of your curse, and cleanse your darkness!
Jasmine of Laurudy - November 14, 2004 01:22 AM (GMT)
Jasmine was wondering what all of the comotion was. She stood up and looked down into the battle stage. She saw the huge scorpian and wanted to scream, but she felt safe and no longer afraid. She saw the spirit span his massive wings and was astonished at their beauty. She stayed standing and watching Kuya. he did not seem to be afraid at all. How brave, she thought. She could not imagine fighting something so terrifying and coming out with a victory. She sat back down and watched the two ceestials fight the terror.
Nightshade - December 23, 2004 02:26 AM (GMT)
((Sorry, you can only see the archon. you see, a limbo zone displaces reality. It looks like there is only the archon, after the battle with the scorpion. To the archon and his comrade, he is battling the scorpion, but time will be exactly as just after the scorpion appeared to him, but if he dies, he will die as if there, from a heart attack, but even his soul would be gone.)
As the scorpion battled... it said... "Kill me you may, but defeating me will not end Nightshade's curse. It's a pity you refused my power, but now despair and die." The scorpion was more than ready for battle. Having seen countless battles, some victorius, others miserable failures, had given it a sense of combat so great that only a master could possibly stand a chance.
