Title: Anger Seeping Through
Description: Anyone welcome
Kuya - November 7, 2004 10:33 PM (GMT)
Kuya blindly trudged his way through the haunted marsh, ocassionly tripping over an ill located root or stone. Everything was slowly getting very blurry. He did not notice that he was in a place he never traveled through before. Maybe he did but his mind did not want to care. All he noticed was all the spider webs. He tripped and fell head over heels next to a semi large stone. He leaned against it.
This is a good as place as any... he said to himself.
He climbed on top of the big rock and noticed that it was covered in dried blood. He heard something rustling the trees above.
Spiderhaunt... Kuya said dreamily. And fell into a hibernating state.
Rith - November 8, 2004 12:52 AM (GMT)
"And The fool thought he can escape MY wrath? I suppose I shall leave him there to be handled by the spiders. He would not satisfy myself for too long in any case. At least the spiders will enjoy his screams of horror with their dinner," Rith thought to himself as crawled along spiderwebs with the thin spiderlike legs that had sprouted from his back.
Rith stopped as he caught the form of a celestial being in a small clearing. "What on imythess is he doing taking napping here of all places?" Rith thought as his legs lowered him to the ground and receded into his back. He recalled this as the man who held a celestial creature called judgement. Rith walked up to Kuya in his childish form.
"Dear sir, I don't think this is the best place for restful slumber," Rith said as he pulled at the leg of Kuya's pants. "you may not be waking from that slumber a live."
Kuya - November 8, 2004 10:33 AM (GMT)
The being I have bonded with has entered a dormant state. This is because I have shown him even more of what will happen during the following war against celestials and demons through visions. Now knowing this he is pondering in his mind what he must do. Judgement said.
The spirit returned to his normal height. He stood towering above the stranger. May I ask what you are doing in a place such as this yourself? as he said this a scuffle behind them caught Judgement's attention and sent a bolt of lightning over the direction of the noise. A spider flew into the air and hit the ground with a burnt screech. Now where were we?
Rith - November 8, 2004 07:22 PM (GMT)
Rith looked at the spirit with a curious gaze. He knew of this judgement, but did not know the spirit proved so good in protectig Kuya. "I got lost looking for my dog, sir. I still have yet to find him. I fear if I don't find him soon...." Rith said before he fell silent and his gaze wandered to his feet. "How foolish. People think such events can be predicted with accuracy. No good can come from such visons," Rith thought to himself.
"What is a dormant state and what was the war about?" Rith asked curiously as his gaze returned to Judgement. Rith wondered why the celestial chose to use such words with a child no older than eiight.
Kuya - November 8, 2004 08:40 PM (GMT)
I did not see any kainines run by here. ANd do not think I do not know you are not a child. For a child would not ask questions like that. Judgement said smirking.
You can say that Kuya is asleep, dreaming. You see Kuya and I share the same memories now that we are bonded. I fought many celestial-demon wars. Enough to know that the world that they take place in will utterly become a barren wasteland, unless if the celestials turn up on top, then they turn the land that the war took place in into lush and green sountry sides; free to be inhaited by anyone. Judgement answered.
I have a feeling you are not looking for a dog sir... Judgement said suspiciously.
Rith - November 8, 2004 09:01 PM (GMT)
"I do not think that answers the question, but demons need little reason in any case for a war to start. This celestial being is quite on my nerves, but it's plans seem to be too large for me to worry too much about later on," Rith thought to himself.
"And why, sir, do you think, I don't look for my dog? He is large, black, and has the most adorable floppy ears," Rith said seeming slightly insulted. Rith doubted he could have much fun with Judgement and Kuya at the moment. It was a shame to, he had thought of ways to make it work out quite well.
Kuya - November 8, 2004 09:12 PM (GMT)
I do not mean to insult you, but if you could please stop the childish act, show me your true self, not your mask. And also we must be ready for anything, since the begining of time Angels and Demons have always had wars against one another. So Kuya and I are just thinking ahead. Judgement said answering as a guess to what was in the stranger's mind.
May I ask for your name sir, I am afraid I do not know it. Judgement said zapping an even bigger spider that tried to crawl up the rock.
Kuya awoke at that moment suddenly and opened his eyes. And randomly said;
"I was always taught that the demons started all the wars, yet us angelic beings never did anything to stop the wars from happening. It was like we wanted to fight them." Kuya said without taking his eyes from the rock he was now kneeling on.
Rith - November 8, 2004 09:43 PM (GMT)
"My mask is as close to my true form. Other forms are more so masks of this mask," Rith said before idly gazing at his hand. This celestial being obviously wasn't fooled by his childish act.
"The wars between angels and demons are all the same. The angels can't start the war because it would go against their beliefs," Rith replied to Kuya's remark, purposely neglecting Judgement's question of his name. "Does Kuya think something can be done to stop the wars? There is no way to stop them. You would have to wipe out demons entirely. Not only is this impossible to do in the long run, but it is, correct me if I am wrong, against the beliefs of many celestials. Not all demons are evil. There are innocent, among the demons, who seek only to survive, but will birth children with blood-thirst like their fathers. Demons always start then wars because they seek to destroy and when they have enough power they wish to destroy on a global scale. It is amazing that the demons manage to do so well in their wars with the devils."
Kuya - November 8, 2004 10:35 PM (GMT)
(OCC: I put 'as if' but I changed it to your liking hopefully)
"I am awake, you no longer have to speak through Judgement to interact with me. I take it that you tried to decieve my celestial spirit. By taking the form of a child but holding something far more wiser. You will find the same about me, but I do not hide my experience, only my age" Kuya said chuckling.
Judgement smiled at Kuya and back to Rith. It is as difficult to understand the wars as you say so. But only some information can only be spoken around other celestials if you plase. No about your...dog...would you like us to help you find it? Judgement asked at the end.
Rith - November 9, 2004 12:35 AM (GMT)
(Ok, It just seemed that that could have been what you were going at, sorry *oopsy* )
"I suppose I can take that compliment, but as I said to Judgement. I have no true form aside from this one," Rith said emotionlessly. "I understand your point Judgement, but I do not beleive I have gotten into the more confedential parts of the wars. In any case I suppose we can harmlessly drop the subject," Rith said as his attention finaly turned away from his hand and returned to Judgement.
"One the naive are fun to play with. The knowing are dull at times. If they had at least played along with the childish act this may be more intresting," Rith thought to himself. "As for my dog, I believe it is he that has found us," Rith said calmly before the the ground shivered slightly. Six red-glowing eye became visible as the fifteen foot tall ceberus walked slowly towards them. The trees were wide enough for him to walk through without uprooting trees, but it was clearly visible that the creature had walked through many spiderwebs. Terror was quite pleased to walk around in this form. Large spiderlegs dangled from the middle mouth. The ceberus certainly fit every description Rith had named of the dog.
Kuya - November 9, 2004 10:42 AM (GMT)
Kuya merely stared at the cerberus. It was quite gigantic, but he had spent a quarter of his life with dragons so it suprised him very little. But he wondered to himself "How could a child get a hold of that? If he truely is just a child" Kuya said questioningly.
It is how you described it... Judgement said smiling a little bit under is helmet.
Kuya got off of the rock and stood straight up. He was wearing his celestial chain which he modified to cover only one of his arm. Weired but that was how he liked it. "May I ask where you got such a creature. I do not see many of those very often." At least not in any free land, usually Kuya saw them surving in wars. But he was not about to get any ideas in his head just because of that. He would have to see what the cerberus would act first.
Rith - November 9, 2004 04:41 PM (GMT)
"I see the Large dog has brought you to your senses," Rith smiled as he walked towards the ceberus who had stopped at the begining of the clearing. The ceberus laid down. The two menacing eyes on either side seemed fixated on Kuya, but the middle pair were happily gazing at Rith. "That is a question, I should say you may ask. A ceberus is of coruse not something you are likely to find casually stolling through the Debon plains. They are not native to this plane. This is not a ceberus in truth, but a believable imitation. He was created by myself. It shall not be too long before I have a ceberus in truth, but that will also be created rather than found," Rith said as he laid against the furry lower jaw of the middle head.
"What is it that brings you to this forest? I doubt this is seen as the best place for trances and meditation," Rith said as he slowly rubbed of Terroe's fur with his hand.
Kuya - November 9, 2004 10:56 PM (GMT)
"Why got to a peaceful setting where normal beings go? Is it not better to go to places where normal beings do not go, set foot upoun, or reach? You will only find the strong minded in such places like you or I." Kuya said smiling.
Even in such dangerous places, we watch each others back, for example at this time you see me protecting Kuya while he was slombering, he would do the same. We have not been bonded together not even for a month, but we know enough anout each other to make an epic. Judgement said and stretched out his wings. They reached a wingspan of twenty feet from tip to tip.
Rith - November 9, 2004 11:17 PM (GMT)
"I see that Judgement is much better at explaining things and answering questions. The weak minded can be found anywhere. They can easily be persuaded to come to such places as you say only the strong minded can be found, though it may take a good bit of convincing from a strong minded person," Rith smiled as he continued to pet Terror. The middle pair of eyes turned from Rith and went looked at Kuya and Jugdement with the same menacing gaze the two other pairs were giving him.
"Do you two talk of only epic battles or is there something more interesting to your lives?" Rith chuckled softly. Terror's tail wagged from side to side and kept whacking the adjacent trees causing them to shake slightly.
Kuya - November 9, 2004 11:33 PM (GMT)
Both of them wondered what could be more intersting than an epic battle that has taken place since the begining of time. "No this is what we do, we fill up the other side of the balance scale. Where as almost the whole population thinks of little things, Judgement and I think of an even bigger thing. Speaking of big things, my dragon will be coming in the next few moments so brace yourself, there is not much landing space here..." Kuya said with a small chuckle as well.
Rith - November 9, 2004 11:50 PM (GMT)
"This may be bigger than most think, but it is monotonous. It is something that can not and never will truly end their is no room for comprimise. It is unchanging. Little has changed of thse battles since the begining of time. If one side gains a paticular advantage the other side seems to find some strange way to overcome it, but I suppose you don't see this way or boring in any shape or form. I suppose there must be some who enjoy unending wars," Rith said calmly. "It appears there is less to worry from this fool than I first thought. In any case they can be easily sistracted as with all the other good doers," Rith thought to as continued to stroke Terror's fur. "Brace myself? Even if your dragon was the size of dragon spine mountains, I belive I would not need to do so," Rith said calmly.
Kuya - November 10, 2004 12:03 AM (GMT)
"Just a warning, you don't have to take it if you do not want to." Kuya said said smiling at the being's cockiness. This one was probably not alive or has seen an Ancient Dragon before. If they do not suprise you with their prescence, they will steal your wits if they do not like you... Kuya thought. Other than wars between demons and angels, his favorite thing to read about was dragons. He knew that they were possibly the strongest and most cunning creatures that walked this land, and one of the first beings to set foot on it.
At that moment the tress above them started to sway, slowly at first then picking up speed quite fast. They saw the white underbelly of the drake first, then it's huge wingspan, greatly oversizing those of Judgement's. It's handsome silver head and spines came down last. It's mouth closed showing manners. It landed with a thunderous clap that shook the ground. It nudged Kuya affectionately then looked down at the stranger and his cerberus.
Rith - November 10, 2004 12:31 AM (GMT)
Rith smiled as he saw the dragon land loudly by Kuya. Terror's six eyes turned from Kuya to the dragon. "A beautiful creature. May I ask where you got such a creature? I doubt you are one to create an ancient dragon yourself... Something tells me it might not have been so ancient when you found it, otherwise I should truly like to know of how you got one in your compainionship," Rith smiled. Dragons, ceberi, hydras, and other such creatures went under close study by Rith. Rith even studied creatures that he knew to be little more than overactive imagination, for even these creatures would become apart of Rith's large plan.
The two heads on either side gave of a wide yawn before closing their eyes and restind upon the ground. The middle pair of eyes stayed fixed upon the dragon. Terror did not like these creatures Rith spook with and more so was growing bored with this large amount of inactivity.
Kuya - November 10, 2004 10:47 AM (GMT)
(OCC: Laoura sold Ancient Dragons at the shop once so I asked her if I could this combo could work and she said companion/weapon and spell combos were allowed. I have no idea why they were taken out. :( )
"Before you must have gone into this land, Laoura gave dragons such as these away. I was a God back then, but I decided to retire because I had many other things to do. I could not find time for being a god. And to me there was no difference. I could do all the same things without the title, and without the people bowing to you in all corners. As for the dragon, a gift from my father...a long long time ago."
(sorry for short post gotta go)
Rith - November 10, 2004 03:42 PM (GMT)
(I know. She took out a lot more dragons than that.)
Rith gave Kuya a strange look. "I doubt she gave them out. Prehaps you are mistaken. Many people are known to praise the gods for their fortune, as you may well know. I suppose I understand why you would dislike being a god. You afterall need to focus your energy on the upcoming epic events. Who says you have to be a god to have epic battles?," Rith said calmly. "As I said before I doubt your dragon was so ancient when you got him, but now another question arises. Who is older the dragon or yourself?" Rith said smiling.
Kuya - November 11, 2004 02:27 AM (GMT)
"How old are we now my friend?" Kuya said turning to the dragon. "We are the same number of years old, you do not want to know, but Anduril is older than me by one month. He was a little pup when he was given to me when I was born."
What did you say earlier? If I might ask. About you creating your animal companions? judgdment said curious at the topic. He did not believe in creating life, but resurecting life.
Rith - November 11, 2004 03:05 AM (GMT)
"Intereting...I suppose you weren't kidding when you said you hid your age. You must be able to tens of centuries, to say the very least," Rith laughed. The middle pair of eyes finally closed. Occasionally one of the six eyes would open and glacnce at kuya before shutting again.
"Ah, I supose you may ask that question. I didn't go over the subject enough to say more than I had created this fine creature here and intended to make another. What exactly do you wish to know more of? The process?" Rith smiled. "I see that it may be possible for us each to have intrest in the same topic, though I must be sure to not speak too much of this subject," Rith thought to himself.
Kuya - November 11, 2004 10:49 AM (GMT)
"That would be fine, just as much as you are willing to share, I do not want you to be in an odd situation, regretting if you say anything you wished you had not." Kuya said curious on the subject as well. Anduril pricked up his ears to see what interesting things he was about to hear. He did not often find beings who made their own pets.
Rith - November 11, 2004 04:38 PM (GMT)
"Familiars are often created by their owners. The process makes a natural and magical bond between them. All that is needed is a few easy to get componets and mage who is atleast somewhat competent. The more complicated the familiar, the harder componets are to find and the more compotent the spell caster is needed to be. In a way this is simmilar to creating familiars, but far more complicated. I am quite surprised my research has gotten so far in under a month. All I need now are a few hard to get materials. ressurection often would seem much easier, but to get the results I want it is not. I'd prefer not to go into process much more and there is little left to disscuss of the process of making famiiars," Rith explained. "I'd love to show you,but I am most assure you would not be in the position to love it," Rith though to himself.
"I am I correct in the beleif that you do little more with your time than prepare for epic battles?" Rith asked.
Kuya - November 12, 2004 01:04 AM (GMT)
"At the time being...yes. I am training all the celestials in Imythess, but sadly none has come. No one ever worries about these things besides who you see before you, and my mare who is not here at the moment. I guess that if no celestials come to my aid, then Judgement, Anduril, Elendiloren and I will have to be a one party army. Some how, I like those odds, and something still tells me we still have some chance, but I cannot expalin why. Maybe, it has to do with my trust..." Kuya explained.
Rith - November 12, 2004 01:38 AM (GMT)
"You like those odds? So small a force against an entire foce of demons. You certainly make our fate seem in the proper hands. If you trusst a horde of celestial beings to mysteriously appear without the slightest calling, you may find this next chapter of the war your last," Rith Laughed sarcastically. "You've been alive for countless centuries and have found little better to occupy your time than preparation for epic battles. Prehaps you should take more time to enjoy Imythess, after all you are working so hard to protect it. Prehaps along the way you can spread your message and find some willing to join your cause," Rith said as the thin wiry spider legs came out of his back and hoisted him into the air. The legs continued to extend until he was upon the middle head of the cerberus. The legs then retracted back into his back as he looked down at Kuya.
Kuya - November 12, 2004 11:42 AM (GMT)
Kuya looked down at the ground. "I have enjoyed life already, and what happens? Being ill-prepared, I lost my family. There is nothing anyone can tell me, that it wasn't my fault. My friend, I only ask for those that cannot do anything to keep out of my way. May I ask, what side will you be on once the war breaks loose?" Kuya said finally looking up.
Judgement and Anduril were silent, they knew that their master...friend would day in this battle, but they knew that Kuya could fulfill what he attended to do, before this happened.
Rith - November 12, 2004 05:14 PM (GMT)
"That is too bad. Loses come with choices. You wil not win in everything," Rith aid before his face curled into a mischevious smile. All six eyes opened wide and stared down at Kuya. "As for what side I shall be on, you may ask. I am not one to allow demons to destroy what I have created, but I am also not one for batles and there are so few in my influence that couuld get along well with celestial. When war breaks loose, I will have enough resources to defend as much of the world as I choose, but the bulk of the war will not be held on Imythess," Rith grined evily as the cerberus stood up.
Kuya - November 12, 2004 09:32 PM (GMT)
"So I think that you will stay neutral? Keeping away from the war as far as possible? But just a warning, I not only protect the the land, but the people living in it, so by the chance that your creatures are set loose on the people, consider them...you know. But I know that you can keep control." Kuya said with a small smirk on his face.
Kuya took out his Holy Broadsword... "Are you by any chance good in battle?..."
Rith - November 12, 2004 09:53 PM (GMT)
Rith then feigned being taken back by what Kuya said. A smile found it's way back onto his face, but not as sinister as before. "Come now, Why would you warn me if you thought that I would do weel to keep control? The war itself means little to me, so yes I will stay neutral," Rith smiled. "This olaf is not one for battle. He can do incredible weel until he feels pain," Rith said as his eyes turned down to Terror. Terror let out a soft whine as if in response to what Rith had said. "As you might guess from my childish frame, I am not a lover of battle. I am fairly good, but I am sure my methods are not the kind that would satisfy your want of a duel, but If you wish I can conjure up something that might give you a challenge," Rith smiled
Kuya - November 12, 2004 11:13 PM (GMT)
Kuya merely said with as few words as possible and as clearly. He knew the conjurer was expecting this. "Conjure me up a demon..." Kuya said with a big smirk on his face.
Rith - November 13, 2004 07:04 PM (GMT)
"I had other things in mind, but I suppose they might a bit out of your abilities. I shall fufill your request, but I beleive that one should be insulting to yourself. A few more would add a little more to your fun, and if things get too out of hand for yourself I am sure that Judgement and Anduril will not let anything happen to you. Further more whether you have one or several opponets I don't thinking this is apmle space, with Anduril and Terror both taking up quite a bit of space," Rith smiled. Rith wondered how hard he should work to wide that smirk off of Kuya's face.
Kuya - November 18, 2004 08:57 PM (GMT)
"Do not worry, they will not interfere, and neither shall you if I get severely hurt. As for them taking up space, they will lift off into the air once my...training if you will start." Kuya said ponderingly, afterwards he said: "You do know what balrogs are, do you not? If you do, conjure me up three of those. That should suffice. Make them as powerful as you can, and only target me, no one else." Kuya said smiling his childish smile.
Rith - November 18, 2004 09:18 PM (GMT)
"Very well, as you wish. It's been a long while since I have summoned a Balrog. Only there you say? Well, I suppose the number is better than one," Rith said almost emtionlessly. Rith was actually hoping Kuya would ask for more than he could bite. It would be a siight to see especialy since he said Judgement an Anduril were not to interfer. One after one three portals appeared before the Cerberus. Nothing could be seen inside execpt darkness. The vertical circular portals grew slowly. The black portals to the abyss continued to grow until each had a 20 foot radius. Three strong demon lords of the abyss flew out of the portals. Each of the three Balrogs held a long flaming sword and a whip of fire in the other hand. The demons hovered in the air and stared hungrily at Kuya. One thing was on their minds, Kill Kuya or die . "Whenever you are ready," Rith smiled as he began to inspect the back of his hand.
Kuya - November 18, 2004 09:32 PM (GMT)
(OOC: Balrogs are like 30 ft tall man! think Lord of the Rings! Unless you think your character can't summon one that big )
Kuya watched as the balrogs hovered in the air waiting to strike. He had a carefree smile on his face. "Summon one more, I like the number four much better than three." he said taking out his Oathbow from his usual equipment sack. He knew what balrog's weakness. It was quite easy because all creatures had an element, and every element had a counter-element, and the balrog's was Light and Ice.
Rith - November 18, 2004 10:09 PM (GMT)
(Gah. I was think of Balor. ::nerd:: I fixed it in any case.)
No sooner than kuya's words had left his lips, a fourth portal appeared as the other three shrunk into nonexistance. Rith wondered how much of a challenge this would be for the angel. He could have added a few things that Kuya would be slightly unfamiliar with, but not at this point at time. Terror was taking little intrest in this. Each of the heads of the Cerberous let out a large yawn as he laid back down on the ground. He thought we were going to be leaving. The fourth portal took on a radius of 25 feet berore stoping. A large Balrog flew out it's flame red eyes glared meanacingly down at Kuya. It had no whip, but it's sword was porpotionally large than the others by a good bit. "Whenever you are ready," Rith repeated still seeming to have something of intreest on the back of his hand.
Kuya - November 18, 2004 11:33 PM (GMT)
Kuya nodded, signifying that he was ready, and before any of the balrogs could make a move, he shot both a light and an ice arrow at the big one, hopefully distracting it, because Kuya wanted to battle that one for last. He dropped hos Oathbow, and unsheathed two angelic swords, he too flew into the air right in between the three balrogs. "Your turn..." Kuya said smiling, eying each of the three demons in their menacing dark, firey eyes.
Rith - November 21, 2004 01:53 AM (GMT)
A blast of fire lept from the outstretched hand of the larger Balrog. the Blast of fire incenreated the arrows, athough the holy head of the Light arrow still remained slightly intact and amazingly on course. After Kuya took to the air, instead of rushing into the trees and setting them a blaze, the burt of flames turned upwards after Kuya. The charred and weakened head of the light arrow slammed into the Balrogs outstretched hand. Bright light streamed forth from the hand as the demon grited his teeth and took in the pain without relinquishing a scream.
The two Balrogs flanking Kuya each let their firey whips fly out after Kuya's arms. The final balrog dropped the whip and put both of his clawed hands around the blade. The Balrog charged with his blade and was ready to strike him.
Rith watched the fight with mild intrest. He knew that if Kuya's eyes were o turn away from the upcoming epic battle then he could either be a threat to his organization or a playful toy. Rith would make sure that he was made the later. It would be good to know how Kuya fought. This knowlege would prove useful when Kuya started learning more than he should.
Kuya - November 21, 2004 03:07 PM (GMT)
Kuya felt hot flames coming fom beneath him, he evasively spun avoinding the whips and fire, but the other balrog that was charging at him he had to make contact with. Just in time he mustered up the strentgh to block the charging balrog with his twin angelic sword. He moved aside the blade of evil flame and struck a swing at the balrog's neck.
(OOC: All I can think of  )
Rith - November 21, 2004 03:57 PM (GMT)
Kuya's swing was met with the Balrog's flaming blade. Fury was clearly visible in the creaturee's eyes. The Balrog on the right let his whip fly out to Kuya's right wing as he flew in closer. The demon on the left sent his whip to Kuya's left leg as he flew in closer. The large Balrog, after removin the light arrow's head from his hand, Flew toward the fight. Another blast of fire lept from his hand. The fire guided over the Balrog of whom Kuya was locked in battle with and the curved downward quickly to meet Kuya.
(Then take a hit, You'll find more to write about after that. :D )
