Title: Dancing colors

Lilith - November 7, 2004 03:55 AM (GMT)
Reds, blues, greens, and every color imaginable reflected off the crystals and danced in the morning sun. Lilith felt her spirit hovering high above the crystallized water, towards the top. She had gone deep inside the cave to reach this mystical color palace. Beautiful, clear water dripped from the jutting stones high above Lilith’s head. A drop landed on her powdery cheek and rolled gently down as if it were a tear. She spun in circles, allowing herself to take every color onto her body. She laughed and fell to the ground in happiness. Her eyes sparkled with utter amazement. She felt perfect tranquility.

Bahamut - November 7, 2004 03:11 PM (GMT)
Bahamut enters the room, clawed feet clicking on the hard, cold stone floor. The light from the crystals didn't reflect off of his green scaled skin, it just stayed dull colored. his hands didn't move as he saw her, and his saw toothed glaive was across his back. His eyes were normal, and his fangs were retracted, though."Lilith? Lilith, it's me, Bahamut."

Lilith - November 8, 2004 03:46 AM (GMT)
Her smile quickly faded into a look of surprise and disgust. "Bah-bahamut? This can not be! You lie!" Lilith's face turned a dark shade of crimson. Anger boiled throughout her veins. "How dare you wreck havoc upon my emotions and pretend you are something you could never be!" It was then her eyes fell upon the ruby gem she had given to once fire God ages ago. Her mouth dropped open in a silent o. The colors from above faded and all that was left was a silent room full of grey and confusion. "But I do not understand. My Bahamut..." She fell to her knees and a deep wail came from her throat. The figure before her was a hideous one. A pair of eyeballs of different colors set in a face that was forest green and scaly. His hands where claws and a spiked tail protruded from his body. "Omygods. What has happened!" A tear rolled down her cheek as she stared at the one she loved.

Bahamut - November 10, 2004 11:11 PM (GMT)
"I suppose I could tell you." He sighed, sitting down, uncomfortably, then decided to stand. "Stupid tail.....Anyways, after I lost my position of God of Fire, I was of course furious with the other gods. I wanted so to kill them all. But I needed more power to do so, so I went to the Abyss, and made a pact with a demon, and became infused with one of their shock troopers, Bathalzar. Then I got the Snake Charmer prestige class as well."His eyes were suddenly green, and snake fangs came from the roof of his mouth, then he retracted the fangs. "But Varila told me something that made me......different, and now I hold no grudge, but am like this."

Lilith - November 13, 2004 05:14 AM (GMT)
Lilith could not believe her ears. Such horrid things could not be true, yet here she was standing before the hideous creature who had once been the one she loved. Could she still love him after all of this? She shuddered when his fangs protruded and quickly looked away. Her ears perked up when she heard the name Varila. If her memory served her correctly, she had always had competition for Bahamut’s heart from Varila. What had she told Bahamut? Was she the cause of all this? All she could think of were questions and had no answers. “What… what have you become?” Her voice was thick with emotion and her eyes were brimming with tears.

Bahamut - November 13, 2004 03:06 PM (GMT)
He looks at her sadly."A demon, and a snake charmer. I am sorry, but this is who I am now. This is what I am......"His head comes up."Wait a minute......Do you love me?" He had always wondered why she acted so strange around him, and maybe this was it.

Lilith - November 13, 2004 11:55 PM (GMT)
Lilith looked away. She was distraught and did not want that to get in the way of what she had to do. She could no longer love the creature Bahamut had become, although she knew deep down, she would always mourn the loss of the old Bahamut. If she were to answer his question in entirety, she would have to tell him that yes, she had once loved him and deep down always would. But he had not asked for the story nor the whole truth. Finally, she brought her eyes back to his. It took the remaining courage she had to whisper the word she would forever regret. “No.” Her eyes fell to the floor as she picked up her things and began to walk around the one she would never have.

Bahamut - November 14, 2004 12:10 AM (GMT)
He Blinks in front of her."You lie. I have Detect Lies. Now, tell me, the whole truth, the whole story. Please."He feels something wet trickle down his cheek. He touches it, then looks at his hand."Tears.....I've never cried. So, this is crying...."He looks back at her."Please, tell me."

Lilith - November 14, 2004 12:27 AM (GMT)
Lilith’s heart was torn in two by the sight of Bahamut’s tears. How could she lie to him? She stopped and turned around. “You are right. But I can not speak of the truth for it goes against everything I believe in. You are of the dark side; I can practically smell its black touch upon your skin. The very sight of you makes me sick!” Lilith could not believe her cruel words. Her emotions were unpredictable and she felt a part of her old self beginning to rise within her. She could not stand there and argue for fear that a hidden part of her would resurface. Her voice softened, “Please just let me go. What do you want from me?”

Bahamut - November 14, 2004 01:51 AM (GMT)
He let's go of her. "I can't believe this. I cannot. You really do love me. Or did. I....never thought this would happen. Now I almost love you, yet I can't. A creature like me, I can't.......It seems impossible."He looks around. "This cannot be....."He shakes his head, then moves aside."Leave, run, if you want. But your past always catches you eventually, and trips you. It hasn't tri[[ed me yet, but it will, and I will pay, with no regret."

Lilith - November 14, 2004 03:09 AM (GMT)
“Your will to love me is weak. You say you can not love me because you are a creature of the abyss, and I am a creature of all things good. Yet love does not choose those that would be your perfect match, rather it chooses your opposite. And clearly, we are opposites. If you can not love me because I am so unlike you, then you are a waste of life.” She spoke the words softly as tears streamed down her cheeks. Promptly, she turned and began the long hike out of the cavern.

Bahamut - November 17, 2004 11:30 PM (GMT)
He blinks in front of her again."I am a waste am I? Then what shall I do? Hm? Maybe I should throw it away, kill myself, and be done with it. Don't say you would not cry."He draws one of his air swords. "Maybe I would kill you first. How would you feel if I told you, the woman I love, that your a waste of life?"He glares at her.

Lilith - November 18, 2004 12:39 AM (GMT)
Lilith stepped forward until she was practically face to face. “I am not afraid of you. Kill me if you must. I have nothing left to live for.” Tears continued to stream down her normally gentle face. She was heartbroken and felt like she could not breathe inside the stuffy caves. She was on the verge of fainting because it was beginning to get so hot. It was only then that Lilith realized what had happened. Lilith always thought it to be a myth, if you drank the water deep inside the cavern, you would be poisoned. She did not believe in such things. It was sudden and unexpected. Lilith fell to the floor gasping for air. “The…water…”, she whispered. The caves spun, colors blended together and her eyes blurred. Before things went black, she got a glimpse of Bahamut’s face. A single tear dropped onto the ground; then everything was gone.

Bahamut - November 27, 2004 03:27 AM (GMT)
He makes a small cut on her arm, then licks the blood."Poison. If only I had drunk the water first, I am immune to such things."He feels for a pulse."Dead......"He sighs."Wait, of course!"He smiles suddenly."Raise Dead, I'm glad I bought it....."He uses Hel to heal all cuts and such on her body, then kneels beside her."I have one shot at this....."He casts Raise Dead on her, watching the pure glow around her with pain, hoping it will work.

Lilith - November 27, 2004 05:14 PM (GMT)
Lilith's body did not react for over 10 minutes. Then her eyelids twitched and she sprang up in a sitting position. "What... what happened?" She looked around trying to rememer who she was and where she was. Nothing seemed to come back to her. Then her eyes turned to her savior and she gasped. "Oh please do not hurt me!" She moved backwards using her hands and cowered in a corner of the cave. The site before her was hideous and fear spread through her body. She didn't want to die, although she did not know she just had. "Who am I? Who are you?" She began shouting questions at him until tears rolled down her face.

Bahamut - November 27, 2004 05:25 PM (GMT)
(u know that Raise Dead brings back Liliths soul, not someone elses?)

He looks at her, backing away from him."I suppose saving your life doesn't desrve even thanks, but it would be nice to hear. You're Lilith. I'm Bahamut. We're in the Crystal Caves. You died, and I brought you back to life."

Lilith - November 27, 2004 05:37 PM (GMT)
((I know this.))

"I..I died? How is that possible? I am Lilith? Lilith. It does sound familiar. And you say you are Bahamut? How do I know you? Why did I die? Did you kill me? But why would you bring me back?" Her head began to hurt with all of the questions. She felt really thirsty so she slowly raised herself up and walked over to a puddle of water that had collected from the moisture on the rocks. She leaned down, pulled her hair back, and got ready to drink.

Bahamut - November 27, 2004 05:42 PM (GMT)
He jumps up and pulls her back quickly."That's how. It's poisoned. The water. That's how you died. Here."He gives her a flask of wine, taking a drink of the water himself. He had fully mastered Snake Charmer, and so was immune to poisons."I am kindof part snake, so I am immune to poisons, thankfully."

Lilith - November 27, 2004 05:55 PM (GMT)
Lilith was startled at his reaction. "I'm..I'm sor-sorry!" She took the flask gratefully and gulped it down. Soon she was feeling a little tipsy and it helped her headache. "Can we get out of this place now?" She really did not like the feeling of the cave anymore. And she wanted to be around people in case the snake-like-man tried to kill her. She wasn't sure if she believed him about the water. And why was he here in the first place? Nothing made any sense to her and her only clear thought was to get far away from the caves. "Please let us go. Will you help me?" She figured she didn't have much of a choice sense he seemed to know who she was. She couldn't risk going out into the world and no one knowing who she was. She'd never get her memory back that way.

Bahamut - November 27, 2004 05:58 PM (GMT)
He nods, then gets up."Follow me."He heads around the twists, then gets to the entrance, and dives in, surfacing at the shore. He waits patiently for the faerie girl to arrive, wondering what she would think when she got her memories back. He wished he could lose his memories.

Lilith - November 27, 2004 06:20 PM (GMT)
Lilith followed him onto the shore and blinked at the bright light. Her eyes had grown accustomed to the dark and dank caverns. She shielded her eyes and glanced around looking for Bahamut. Seeing him, she flew over and sat on the sandy shore beside him. "Do you know why I am here?" Staring out at the ocean made her feel so lonely. She felt a void where her heart would be as if something tragic had happened in her love life. She wondered who it was that she loved so much. Her eyes turned towards Bahamut. She wondered why he looked so sad.

Bahamut - November 27, 2004 06:36 PM (GMT)
He looks at her"No, I just found you there. You were happy, looking at all the gems. You were beautiful. But then you drank the water, and now you dont remember anything."He pulls off a crystal on a chain."I gave you one of these, I don't know if you have it still. It would be around your neck. It's beautiful, isn't it?"
