Title: An invitation to something...
Description: ...

Tulsatha - November 3, 2004 11:43 PM (GMT)
Tulshatha entered the academy looking for someone... anyone... It didn't know what to make of this place. It looked nice, but like all predators it appeared suspiciously nice to tulsatha...

"I don't know why I am here... but duty I must seek... if anyone is willing to accept it..." Tul said as he entered the academy.

Looking around, it wondered how this place came to be... and what he may be able to learn here...

Casually, it waked the hallways, looking for someone to interact with...

Master Ace - November 4, 2004 01:26 AM (GMT)
(why do you use it instead of he?)
Master Ace grass-green eye's slowly scanned the scroll in his hands. He seemed slightly displeased. He was reading a notice from a student. The woman stated that she was off to learn magic on her own. Master ace knew this woman to be a talkitive git. Prehaps if there were other students for her to talk to she might of stayed. Ace crumped the scroll and tossed it into the flickering flames of the fireplace. Ace got up out of his seat and walked to the door of the classroom. Before opening the door he stretched out his emerald scaled wings. He opened the door and walked into the hall. He immediately caught sight of a curiuos creature who seemed humaniod, but with cheetah-like features. The young man was walking Ace's way. "Hello, is there something I can help you with?" Master Ace asked as he wondered why the young man was here.

Tulsatha - November 4, 2004 02:56 AM (GMT)
Tulsatha looked at him with friendly eyes.
"To learn, sir, to learn. I am a chetauran. I guess you didn't know such things existed. You look part dragon, so, I assume you are draconian?

I am Tulsatha. I have lost the nature to sense, and I wish to regain it. If you are willing to train me, I will gladly serve you."

The cat looks at Ace, and nods, hoping to become his new student.

"And what is your name?"

Master Ace - November 4, 2004 03:46 PM (GMT)
Master listened to the chetauran speak. He had heard of such creautures, though not excatly by that name. "I belive this is the first time I heard of Chetaurans, but I am not surprised such creatures exist," Master Ace smiled. "I am part dragon, but I must say there are many differences between a draconian and a half-dragon."

"He has a liking for nature spells. I have never learnt many of those. I suppose now would be a good time to start," Master Ace thought to himself. "I am Master Ace. It is a pleasure to meet you Tulsatha. I am willing to train all who are willing to learn. I suppose you wish to start lessons as soon as possible.

Tulsatha - November 4, 2004 05:29 PM (GMT)
"Indeed. It would be a pleasure to train with you." Said Tulsatha. "If anything, I like protective magics like shield, heal, and remedy. But I aslo wish to have speed based magics. perhaps we should begin with a plan to decide which magics... ??" Tulsatha looked at Ace and thought about going to the classroom. looking around, it noticed several rooms, and added "Shall we enter your room? I also know a little alchemy... not much, but it may come in handy to know about eventually..."

Master Ace - November 4, 2004 06:25 PM (GMT)
Master Ace listen to Tulsatha's reply. His tail flickered about slowly as he wondered what he would teach first. "In my room, no no. I don't think our lessons will take place in the classroom. It would be better if went outside for these lessons," Master Ace smiled as he walked to the door at the end of the hall. "Come this way. All of the nearby classrooms are too small," Master Ace said as he lead the way to the Academy courtyard. He recalled of the good times he had in the courtyard. He felt bad that had never gotten to teach there before. He usually took a different approach in teaching his students, partly because he had enough for an actual class.

Tulsatha - November 4, 2004 06:55 PM (GMT)
(you may want to read a lesson learned... when the consumable items are created in this game... but not before...) Tulsatha followed him carefully, hoping to learn a few good defensive magics. He looked around and found the place to be interesting, and thought... "I could get use to this. It's nice..."

As Tul followed Ace outside, he decided to ask him a question: "May I know the history of this place, please?" in a simple voice.

Master Ace - November 5, 2004 03:44 AM (GMT)
(Gozan/tulsatha, I will not be paying attention to your post in that topic. It occurs before this event.)

Master Ace opened the double doors and walked to the academy courtyard. The courtyard was wide and had beuatiful trees around the edge. The lack of students meant that there was no traffic in the courtyard wich was usually filled students milling about or scholars going to and from the academy library. "Where you may think an interesting thought now, I assure you that I would bore myself by telling it all," Master Ace said as he stoped in the middle of the courtyard. He turned around to face Tulsatha.

"Pay close attention to my movents and words," Master Ace said before casting shield. A translucent sheild appeared in front of Ace. Ace waved his hand and the shield dissapated. "Now you try, or do you wish me to show you again?"

Tulsatha - November 10, 2004 01:38 AM (GMT)
Tulsatha smiled in anticipation. It was as if this guy knew exactly which magics he wanted and what order... but he loved every moment of it...

Tulsatha began by incanting the words to the magic, and commencing the gestures... and used it on himself...

Thinking how fun this is, he shrugged the casting on him off, and said... "A very interesting magic. Very interesting indeed. I cannot wait to use it when I hunt..."

Master Ace - November 10, 2004 07:52 PM (GMT)
Master Ace raised an eyebrow. The creature had casted the spell properly, but his words were a bit disturbing. "What exactly do you hunt that you could have need or use of such a spell?" Master Ace knew the spell was only really useful against projectiles and only gaurded the front. Master Ace could not think of one creature that would normally be hunted that may be easier to hunt with this spell. "Prehaps he is not entirely knowledgable of what the spell does?" Master Ace thought to himself as he tried to make sense of Tul's words.

Tulsatha - November 10, 2004 10:15 PM (GMT)
"I hunt many things. All for the sake of pleasure and duty... with this magic, I can defend myself better, especially in tight quaters against such things as slalamanders and thereabouts... you are suspicious, I see... [sense motives] as to what I mean. For I hunt anything I need to hunt... but, alas, I lack the ability to sense danger... and want to learn that above all..."

"By the way, show one form of magic to me, I can learn all the forms of it... so, I could learn all the shield magics if I wanted to just by myself..."

Tulsatha nods. "Do you know any adventures that exist? I could use one..."

Master Ace - November 11, 2004 01:28 AM (GMT)
Tul's answer brought only more curiousity. Master Ace's brow remained raised as he looked at Tulsatha. "I have yet to hear one of your kind lacking the ablitiy to sense danger. There is such a spell, but I shall not be teaching that today," Master Ace said before lowering his brow.
"As for Adventure I could think of many, but it would depend on what you define adventure as. Now cast the spell and hold up your shield. We shall see how well you have learned," Master Ace smiled.

Tulsatha - November 11, 2004 05:18 PM (GMT)
Again, Tulsatha used the shield magic... "Easy enough... but Learned it already, as you can see... a one-time wonder, though I have not arcane knowledge... could use that too, however. But I plan to acquite a bow and arrows for hunting..."

"Well, I will be in the town... or grasslands... hunting for now... not that I don't like you, but... you know how it is... gotta train in the simple sense too...

Farewell Ace... Perhaps we will meet again soon enough"

With that, Tulsatha left... and nodded...
