Title: Gozan seeks advice.
Description: ...
Gozan - November 1, 2004 05:05 AM (GMT)
Gozan enters the classroom of the academy to gain some advice what magic he should acquire...
"Why did I buy rain in the 1st place... I needed an area-wide damaging spell, and failed that... still useful in defeating certain monsters like rock types, but otherwize useless... if only I could afford a minor blizzard..." Gozan mumbles as he enters the classroom...
"Hi sir, could I ask some advice what magic I should probably get? I'm on a weak budget, but can use a cheap area magic that can damage most opponents..."
Gozan hopes for an answer...
Master Ace - November 1, 2004 03:15 PM (GMT)
The room was empty with the exception of a skinny black cat that was curled up near the flickering fire in the fireplace. the stirred slightly as Gozan spoke. The cat slowly brought itself to it's feet and turned to get a look at Gozan. Master Ace remembered this as the strange man he had met earlier. The man seemed o be some sort of crazy begger from what Ace had gathered in their short meeeting. Master Ace's red eyes studied Gozan before Master Ace lept to a desk in his cat like form. He had only caught a small bit of Gozan's words, but they did seem to make more sense than what gozan had spoke of in their last meeting. "Budget is nothing. Potential is the only thing that is important," the cat smled as he sat upon the desk. "What is it that you learn and what exactly is it that you know?" Master Ace's red eyes stayed intent on Gozan watching his every movement. He hoped this would prove a prosperous student. He would not like to know that his nap had been disturbed by a bumbling moron.

"I'm not certain. I know I need training. I am planning to gain a combo class: A rider, that weilds powerful battle magics, great swords, and impressive armor without penalties..."
gozan sighs.
"I know of the gods, it's folly... but I intend to become the god of war and justice."
"So, I am asking your advice on a cheap area magic that does ice damage."
"And a prestigue class capable of fusing magics. We don't want people merging insanely powerful magics together, right?"
"Um, I may have stumbled over a magic too:
Fire + Lightning = Force bolt, Right?"
Master Ace - November 1, 2004 06:46 PM (GMT)
Master Ace tilted his head slightly as if it would him make sense of the man's words. "Either I have yet to wake up or he simply makes no sense at all....or prehaps it is all just a bad dream," Master Ace thought as stretched out his back. Ace hopped to a closer desk and sat down upon it. "Let's take this nice and easy. What is your name? What do you wish to Learn and What exactly do you know?" Ace smiled. "Answer these three questions and save the other chatter for latter," Ace said in hopes of hearing something that made sense from his lips. He was glad his mother was somehwere else on her own buissness, for should she have heard these words she would not be pleased.

((Sorry, poor storyteller. More an RPG person... know what I mean? even with the guidance of plot telling...)
"My name is Gozan. As I said, I seek training and advice involving ice magics. I know rain so far."
Gozan decides to sit on one of the tables, and waits for an answer, and demonstrates his rain power...
"I also wish to introduce a new prestigue class: Fusionist. Merging magics. You wouldn't want to have undeserving people merging magics together, would you?
I know of the gods in these lands, and seek to discover how to become one if possible... yet, I don't know even where to start in that matter... and most think I am but a poor blabbering fool, not knowing or understanding. And no, I do not know the knowledge of religion yet...
Plase don't consider me a power hungry fool. My goal is that of an honorable champion, respected and renowned..."
Gozan waits, and prays he understands what he's talking about...

"Much better, Gozan. Hold for a minute pleas," Master Ace said as he raised his paw up to his eyes. He seemed to be concentrating on a spell, but the archaic words were crammed together much quicker than normal and near impossible to tell what spell it was that he was casting. His red eyes slowly turned to yellow and then changed slowly to blue. He then lept to the floor. He changed from a cat to his normal form. He ran his hand through his long blue hair as he thought of how he should start this. He streched out his sapphire wings and swung his sapphire scaled tail behind him. His ice blue eyes turned back to Gozan. "I can not help you with the presige class, but I can teach you the spells of ice. The question of wether or not you can learn is the only one that remains. Shall we begin now," Master Ace smiled. "or do you have more babble to bring up?" Master Ace wished to add, but mantained control of himself.
Gozan - November 1, 2004 07:34 PM (GMT)
"hay, no fret. I'm ready."
Gozan decides to clear his mind, and prepare to focus on the task on hand.
He looks at his teacher and nods.
Taking out the magic book he has... he prepares it...
"Sorry. I have no textbook as yet, nor a quill pen or thereabouts..."
Master Ace - November 1, 2004 08:06 PM (GMT)
"Good. I myself make little use such things as quills and scrolls, and to say the least textbooks. We shall begin with a simple spell, freezing grasp. I will go over the spell and you will pay close attention to my words and movements," Master Ace said before casting the spell. He went through the spell slowly and pronouced the archaic words clearly so Gozan could keep them in mind. He then placed his hand upon the top of the deskit istantly was covered by a sheet of ice. "Just to make sure you have the spell down I'll go over it again," Master Ace said before casting the spell in the same manner as before. He then laid his hand on a second desk and it froze over in a simmilar fashion. "Now You wil try to do this just as I have showed you," Ace smiled. "While it may take up a while to master the spell, if you watched me then you should be able cast the spell. It of cousre will hold little potency till fully mastered."
(I.e. You may use this spell only in this topic until you buy it and It would be preffered that this spell is your next purchase)
Gozan - November 1, 2004 08:19 PM (GMT)
Gozan focuses his mind, and concentrates on the words...
Time and time again he fumbles, but then on the 18 time, he manages to get it... he mumbles "This is going to take a while..."
"Ok, now what?..."
Master Ace - November 1, 2004 08:42 PM (GMT)
Master Ace sat upon one of the desks ask he watched gozan's failed attempts with the spell. He was used to dealing with stellar students who needed little teaching, prehaps guidance could be a better word. Goazan was not totally deviod of the art of magic. He had successfully cast a spell. Summon Rain was not too far away from freezing grasp. "Now we can practice the spell further," Ace said as he vanished with a loud and appeared behind the large desk that belonged to te magister. He rummaged through the desk and pulled out a small bag. There was a simmilar loud snap and Master Ace was again sitting on the frozen desk again. Ace dug his hand into the bag and pulled out the skull of a rat. Ace was immediately reminded of the fact that this bag was used in the first class he taught. " Freeze it or at least get a bout bit of frost on it," Ace smiled as he tossed the skull to Gozan.
Gozan - November 1, 2004 09:03 PM (GMT)
"eww.. but ok... I don't know where that came from... but I will trust you..."
Gozan casted the words and gestures of the magic... and managed to get it on the 1st try... he laughed.
"Well, thanks. I appreciate it. Expect to see me quite a lot. I intend to eventually gain ALL the battle magics I can muster. See you later..."
Gozan leaves...
