Title: Visiting

Ranewen - October 13, 2004 07:28 PM (GMT)
(Not the best topic name in the world, but eh... Lo And definately not one of my best posts.)

Ranewen took a deep breath as she made her way through Talas. She seemed to be heading in the direction of the Talas Arena, but that wasn’t so. People stopped to look at this woman, atop a winged-and-horned strange being. They hadn’t known that the Goddess had her own divine familiars and companions. They didn’t know half t he things about her. They seemed too afraid to care. She sensed their gazes, but she ignored them. Once near the Talas Arena, she looked around and found Veronna’s temple and made her way for the main door.

Quickly, she dismounted and tied up her mount and ordered it to stay put. The winged unicorn (or horned Pegasus, as some call it) stomped its feet in anger and in protest, but it just nodded its head and listened to his mistress. Ranewen made her way to the main door and pushed it open and slipped inside, closing the door instantly as her body exited the doorframe. She looked around and liked the way this place had been built. She smiled and nodded in approval and walked around a bit, wondering where the Goddess would be. The temple was too quiet at the moment, so she didn’t bother to shout the Goddess’ name. Perhaps she’s doing something… She’ll be sure to see me some time or another. She shrugged her shoulders and looked around once more, eager to meet the Goddess of Sword – the one who she seemed to like, for she herself preferred swords sometimes, although she was a summoner. She stood in the middle of the room and looked around, before taking a step back. “Lady Veronna?” she finally called out. Not too loud, but loud enough for anyone to hear.

Veronna was watching Ranewen the whole time. Veronna loved all the little passage ways that led off, and they were handy for watching people without them noticing her. When Ranewen called out Veronna sighed and stepped out from the thin passage way, right in front of Ranewen. She had only met this goddess once, and wasn't sure what to think about her, she was kind of strange...
"Vendui" She said nodding.

Veronna wasn't sure how evil the goddess of darkness was but something felt weird to Veronna, but she shrugged it away. She was used to being around evil people, but she had grown softer by being on the surface. "What brings you here?" she asked her.

(Crappy post... I gotta get off, I have been on too long. I'll be on later though!)

(Haha, all right. Talk to ya then!)

I have come to meet you, Veronna, for you are one of my favored deities before I had become on myself. I’ve always been fascinated by swords, so I decided to stop by and say hello, and also tell you that I’ll be able to come to your wedding. I have one question, though: what kind of gift are you looking for? Anything special?” she asked and wondered how long the Goddess had been there. She decided to throw away her evil ways for a while and go back to her neutral self, so she wouldn’t have to be as cold-hearted. She wasn’t at her temple; she had to show respect. And in doing so, she decided on being a nicer person for only this time and at the wedding as well. She was always fond of weddings – something about them made her have hope inside of some sort. Maybe someday, she’d be able to find her match (though she doubted it then and still does now). She wanted to congratulate that Goddess, but then again, she had done so at her engagement celebration, which she had stated for nearly the whole thing, yet she was silent and only watched as the two lovers came together in happiness to announce that they wished to spend the rest of their lives together. Just the thought of being loved by someone so much as to have them propose to their lover, almost brought a smile to her face. Her eyes wandered away for a moment. She then returned her gaze back to Veronna, hoping she hadn’t said anything that she had missed while daydreaming again, which she was very good at.

"Only have come for those reasons? Nothing like sparring? Because thats why anyone ever comes here it seems, I know I'm the Goddess of Blades but even the other deities who come to visit wish a fight, they seem to think thats what I only like to do..." She trailed off a little. "A gift... Hmmm... Tell you the truth I have no idea. Everyone will most likely think I would want a sword or something, but I don't really know... I wish I could be more helpful."
Veronna could tell Ranewen was a bit more evil then she was acting, but it didn't really matter to her, Veronna herself was evil at one point.

(I know the post is short and I'm sorry about that, but I want to do other things tonight since our computer is running again)
