Title: Whisperings of Darkness
Description: Private: Lemon
Rith - October 11, 2004 03:55 AM (GMT)
The silver moon seemed to smile grimly upon Rith's small building. On the outside there was a large sign with a large purple eye, signifing that this was the place of a fortuneteller. Rith was pleased with the cold air the passed by the curtain that served as a door. Rith's feet rested upon a small box of assorted items he intended to smuggle to Talas. He sat facing the door. A small table rested in front of him. The candle upon the table was so faint it could illuminate little more than the table and immersed the rest of the room in a dark shadows. Heard the familair some sound of something appraching his building. He slid the box beneath his chari with his feet and leaned back in his chair so he was totaly immersed in shadows. He no longer seemed a small child, but rather a tall man. Rith purple eyes stared out into the darkness and waited to see who would be next to come to his "shop".

A cloaked man pushed open the curtain with great force, nearly blowing out the candle which stood on the table in front of him. Lemon pulled of his cloak to reveal his unusual jester outfit. Instead of the usual bright and wild colors of a traditional jester, Lemon wore an outfit with many yellows and blacks. Also instead of thick stripes a tribal patern which almost looked like a snake took up the space where they would normaly be. His head was bold and also decorated with a desighn which looked like that of the desighn you would find on the back of a King cobras hood. All of Lemons movents where quick and sudden, often times not even making a sound. Finaly he slid into a chair. An odd site as most people pull out their chare first. Lemon sat completely still and silent.

Rith watch almost in awe as the man entered. The strange man moved with swift regal motions. He made hardly any noise aside from the forceful opening of curtain. Lemon's sliding into the seat was an superb display of acrobacy. This was one who would be an extrodinary assassin. Rith was very pleased with Lemon's appearance and entrance to say the least. Rith's purple eyes stopped when they reached Lemon's eyes. Though had narrow slits like those of a snake, Rith recogninzed the yellow tint. He had seen this before and after he had turned the man into a dog. His curse apparently was not strong enough to bind this mind. It was of course an accident in the first place. Rith took a few moments to recall the situation. The man had an obvious increase in physical ablities, but if the jester could not answer a simple riddle he was prehaps not worth dealing with.
The room around them seemed o grow. The dull tan walls turned to ebony brick. Torches with purple flames appeared allong the walls. The flames gave off an erie purle light, but did little better to lighten the area than the weak candle on the small table. "Before we begin, I wish you to answer a riddle," A deep voice called from the shadows. "If you tell a lie I will slay you with my sword," The dark voice said and a sword appeareed instantly at Lemon's throat. The black sword seemed to be held by tall dark figure. "If you tell a lie I will slay you with my magic," The voice said and the crackling of dark energy could be heard and felt by Lemon as a ball of drak magic began to form inches infront of Lemon's face. "What is the only statement you can make and live?" The question sounded in Lemon's mind in a much lighter tone. (Yes you have to answer this properly)

As the mans deep voice rang out in Lemons head, flashbacks of the time he was transformed into a dog shot through his memory. Of course Lemon didn't know what these memories where as he was never aware of being a dog. Something about his voice knew though, and he knew it was something bad. Lemon tohught for a moment until a large smile appeared on his face. One because he knew this man was quite evil and would most shorely not fail him, and two because he had just figure out the riddle. Lemon paused for a second. It seemed almost as though he had just turned into a statue. His maniacle smile glued to his face, everything else still, until finaly his eye twitched a bit. " You will slay me with your sword." He answered firmly with his usual lisp, giving his voice a sort of hissing sound.

"Good. Good. I am glad to see your skills have greatly improved," Rith smiled as illusional swords and magic disipated as quickly as they had appeared. Rith had already searched Lemon's past and waqs now assure that he wished to have Lemon's services. "Foolish illusions are not good enough for one of your calibur," Rith said as he bent the deck with fingers. Cards sprayed into the air. Rith vanished from his seat and appeared in the Shadows by the door. he still held the form of the featureless tall man. Rith knew the out come of this but wished to see the Lemon's ablities in actions. "Be so kind as to follow me. You one last test, one I know you can not fail," Rith said before he slipped outside.

A cocky grin formed upon Lemons face. He was most definitly going to past whatever test this was, and show off at it too. Quickly Lemon moved his feet back behind and under his chair, pulling his body with him. Without using his arms he easily stood straight up, all in one smooth movement. With out a moment to spare Lemon took off running out of the tent. As he ran out he forgot his cloak, but luckely one of the snakes dwelling inside him slithered out through his back and grabbed it. As he ran he grabbed his cloak and pulled it over him. Finally he realized he had forgoten his flail which he had left outside of the tent. Again he sent one of his serpents out to get it. With some difficulty the serpent carried the flail as fast as it could to Lemon, however the three spiked balls dragging in the dirt weren't helping. Eventualy though, it cought up to him and lemon tucked the flail in a pouch for it on the back of his cloak. He was determined to pass this test.
Rith - October 26, 2004 10:47 PM (GMT)
Rith watched him from the top of roof that was in front of Lemon. Strangely his illussionary seemed even more profound and visible in the darkness than the light. It appeared that his tall body was covered by a long hooded cloak. Terror had prepared his summons. But Terror was not good enough to summon the ebony golem. A hand caame out of the illusionary man's sleeve. It seemed to make a snapping motion and immediately the ground began to shake slightly. A vertical portal opened before Rith. A large ebony golem stepped out and stared down at Lemon. An a black anaconda sized Cobra appeared at Lemon's left. It's black hood was open and the purple eye that was on the sign of the building was present on the snake's chest. A winged demon immerged out of the darkness at Lemon's right. "This test will be simple for you I'm sure. It's more for personal enjoment than anything. You are to survive for a minute and kill what you can in that minute. Begining...." Rith said before pausing. The Ebony golem brought it's fist rushing towards Lemon and the two other demonic creatures prepared to join in the attack. "Now"
