Title: <no topic. i am out of ideas>

Radeus - October 7, 2004 05:47 PM (GMT)
It was good to be out in the sun. It warmed Radeus with it's soothing light, yet caused the rest of the people who walked the streets to sweat profusly and seek shelter indoors. Only a few stood around and watched as Radeus woorked his own special kind of magic.

Again, infront of a basket, playing a flute, waiting for the snake to come out. This time though, the snake belonged to Radeus, they had an unspoken agreement. If the snake performed, Radeus wouldn't plaster the streets with it's brains. Threats worked very well, even if it was a stupid snake.

Alright, Radeus thought as the snake rose from it's woven basket, my show might prosper now. The snake will perform, and I won't have to be booted out of another city.

Lilith - October 7, 2004 07:17 PM (GMT)
Lilith was taking a break from her intense job as a healer. She made her way to the street where performers usually entertained a large number of people for a few pieces of gold. Today there was a man playing a wooden flute. Lilith stood there waiting for something more to happen. He had a brown basket in front of him and she wondered what was in it. She had never seen this trick before but that was mainly her fault. Lately she hadn't been getting out much.

The sun began to beat down on Lilith's nearly naked back. Sweat glistened on her bottom lip where it had accumulated. She took an embroidered handkerchief out of her bag and wiped at her face. She felt she was beginning to get dehydrated but her eyes were locked on the magic before her. She was a curious person in general and this held her captivated.

Lilith gasped as a large snake began to weave its way out of the basket. Fear came over her for a split second for she was accustomed to being afraid of such creatures. But then she calmly remembered that the man had it under control and besides, the snake didn't look poisonous.

Radeus - October 8, 2004 05:20 PM (GMT)
Radeus stood up and began dancing around the basket as the crowd grew. The snake's evil little eyes glared after him, watching his every move. The tune that he played sped up. His moves became more exagerated, time seemed to slow and a drunken revelry seemed to grow in parts of the crowd. Other performers, seeking to steal his newfound source of wealth barged in, adding thier own music, it joined in a unity of sight and sound rarely found.

The snake rose out of the basket and dropped to the ground and followed after Radeus, seeming to want to join in on the party. The crowd edged away from Radeus and his snake, clearing a way for his performance. What next? How shall I use this?

Lilith - October 10, 2004 03:21 AM (GMT)
Lilith watched in absolute fascination. It was the most amazing thing she had ever seen. It had a hint of danger mixed with pure excitement. Lilith could feel her heart beginning to pound with the music. It was entrancing. Her body started to sway with the music as her blue eyes followed every move of the snake and its charmer.

Radeus - October 10, 2004 07:04 PM (GMT)
Allright! The party's going well, I might even get a few gold from the caring people out there. Radeus weaved in and out of the crowd, the snake following close behind. Power ran through him, coursing through his veins as the crowd responded to his every move. It was unlike anything Radeus had ever experienced, yet it would not last. Yells erupted to his left as gaurds spilled into the party, swinging clubs left and right, yelling something about a riot. No... why now??? I didn't even get a single copper... Radeus leaned down, grabbed the snake and prepared to run. "Where?" he muttered to himself, "Where to run?
