Title: Admiring the dwarven city

Master Ace - October 2, 2004 01:14 AM (GMT)
Reis, Ace's mother, insited heavily that they visit the Dwarven city. It was along time since she had been their and she wanted to see it again, but with her son this time. She recalled that her last visit to the city was between fifty and one hundred years. She couldn't quite recall for sure. Master Ace had no reason to deny his mother of her request. He had no duties at the academy at the moment and prehaps could handle a bit of buissness in the dwarven city. It was possible that he would be able to find various alchemtical supplies that were needeed at the Academy of magic.

A gentle smile was spread upon her face as they neared they city. They could already seen the marvelous construction of the glorious buildings and architechial works. The slight breeze blew against her colorful hair and rainbow striped skirt and blouse. Master Ace was pleased with what he saw, but he was mostly glad to be with his mother. He did not appreciate the city in the way that Reis did or as much as Reis did. The midday sun beated warmly against Master Ace's long green hair. Reis paused a moment before entering the town. Her eyes turned to a sign to the side written in dwarven. Inside the city Dwarves were busing themselves with mundane tasks. Most stayed inside their comfortable homes, but some huslted through the streets seeking to accomplish one goal or another.

Kryeth - October 2, 2004 12:51 PM (GMT)
The midday sun beat down upon the clan city, showing no mercy for the occupants living there. The heat was immense as people walked around. Only saved by the gentle breeze which seemed to pass. Autumn leaves fell from the few trees, swept around on the bit of stone leading to the village. Through the sunlight, a rapid mix of colors caught Kryeth’s eye. He turned and watched a pair, obviously mother and son walking down the path towards to deeper part of the city. His gaze narrowed down on the son, and by his calculations estimated him to be around 16. What would a child want to do with his mom at 16! Hell.. By the time I was 16.. I had killed my parents.. A small smile worked its way onto Kryeth’s mouth as he fixated his target as the boy.. Maybe he was being punished, and forced to walk with his mom for today.. But yet, he seemed to be enjoying himself. So young.. Yet so full of life… Just the thought sent a shiver down his back, and his mouth water for the sweet blood which coursed through his skin.. Yes.. There was no doubt about it, this boy was his next pray.

As he walked out from his small cave, the sun hit his back, and he shivered, feeling his strength almost drain by half. Damn sun.. Shivering again he jumped from his ledge down to a small street below. Looking around for “unwanted guests” he didn’t see any and walked slowly in the shadows over to the edge of the alley, watching the couple near him. His grin widened, sharp canines visible now on his teeth. Yes my dear.. Just a bit closer.. And your sun will be able to see what a vampire is like.. Of course he wont quite live through it.. But he will deal with it well enough.. Kryeth looked with his eye, scanning the horizon, cursing his blind eye. Ever since he had lost it, things had been different. His aim had always been off, for he had trouble with depth. His vision had been bothered.. He no longer had perfect 20/20, no, he was farsighted now. Not badly, but bad enough he sometimes had trouble catching pray if it was nearby. Aye.. But he would not let such a boy escape his teeth today. No today he was hungry. And today, the boy would be his lunch.

Without much hesitation he stepped out into the sun striding over towards the boy, his frame not much bigger, but then again, the dead didn’t need to worry about strength. For they couldn’t be killed. Excuse me sir… He called to the boy, a fake smile plastered onto his lips. Come...yes come.. And hand over your blood… He just grinned to the boy, wondering if he would come over or not.

((wow bad.. Sorry ><!))
