Master Ace was glad to have his mother despite the omenous things said of his father. Reis was very immpressed at how he had matured in such short time. She was bound to her human form by a pair of tight bracelettes whuch would not come off her wrists no matter what was tried, but she never complained about it or told Ace about it. She simply lied to him and said she prefered her human form.
They walked a worn path on DragonMount. The sun glinted in Reis' colorful hair. No one strand of her hair was exactly the same color as another and they constantly shifted through the spectrum. Her eyes acted simimlarly, but changed at a slow rate compared to the speedy change of her hair. Her skin changed tint slightly as well, but it was not noticable. She wore a rainbow striped skirt and blouse. Her hair and skirt blew slightly in the wind.
Master Ace walked beside his mother. His long green hair whipped in the air. When they had reached a considerable height. Reis stopped and turned to observe the world below. Ace did likewise. " Ace. I have something I want to give you," she said as she pulled an impressive flute from her pocket. "This is something that has been passed down in the family for quite some time now. Now you are of age to receive it and to learn the art of Dragonsong," she smiled with her sweet ginger voice. She took a few minutes to stare at the flute in her hands before holding it out to Ace. Ace took the flue. He took the flute and stared at it for a few moments. "Now we will start," Reis said after brushing away a few tears. "Hold the flute like so and let your mind dwell on the wonderful DragonMount."
Ace did as she said. He held the flute up to his mouth and thought of the dragonspine mountains. Before Ace knew what was happening Ace plaing a beautiful heartening song. Reis seemed pleased as the song spread through the air.
Zero had been walking on the mountain for hours, and the path seemed to go on forever and not stop, as if it were long lasting, infinity. Eventually Zero grew bored looking at the same type of veiw and the same rock on the wall for a while now. He let out his palm and let the fire grow out of his hand and to create a ball that seemed to glow brightly. Zero juggled the ball around with both his hands and seemed to be entertaining himself quite a bit. This too got boring as well, he stopped playing with the fire he enjoyed so much and closed his palms so that the fire would vanish from his left hand. He kept walking up and getting higher hoping to reach his destination. His destination was to train with his fire and sommon Darunia up at the peak of the of Dragonmount, hopfully Zero wouldnt run into some conflict wit some stubborn dragons as it was the last thing he wanted.
The higher Zero got the colder the mountain seemed to be. But for now all that remained was a slight breeze as Zero had not been close to nearing his destination just yet. His dark brown hair began to blow the winds direction and he was feeling like he was getting exausted but now quite as the winds were there to keep him cool and fresh. Though he did decide to sit down for a moment as he worked himself too hard right now, his legs would eventually get sore by the time he got to the peak and then he wouldnt be able to train like he wanted. Zero then truned to look back and to notice how steep the mountain had been from his veiw. It was scary at first and it made Zero not want to look back and it made him want to head back down the mountain. He had gone too far up, to just refuse to make his way towards his destination. However this was important to Zero, he really wanted to meet Darunia and see how he would look like. Zero kept patient and sat down against the rocky surface of the mountain he had been on. The wind still blowing and it seemed to get a little cooler.
As Zero sat there quietly he thought more and more about his training and then his eyes began to glow sharply and he knew that he couldnt take anymore breaks and sit out for a while. Though he decieded not to listen to his thoughts and ignored them, he remain seated and played with his fire once more on his left hand. He really didnt like to play with his fire near flammable objects, he used his magic wisley and responsibly. He would create big blazing spheres of fire as he sat there smiling at what he was doing. Zero had a passion for fire and it was his special gift to have such great pyro tehchniques. Still sitting there he extended the sphere and and then constantly went back and forth to making the shpere bigger and smaller each time. He knew things got out of mind and that he needed to be more concentraited on getting a move on, he needed to get to the peak.
Zero then stood back up and dust himself off from the dirt and pebbles of rocks that remain on the floor that attached to him. He then continued forth and began to walk even more. He began to hear voices coming from the higher level of the mountain. They had mentioned somthing about a flute. Zero didnt want to start no conflict right now if he were about to approach someone incompatible, so he would stay in a good and friendly mood the whole way. He kept taking the path on the mountain, and thought to himself, "How much longer is this going to take, hopfully the people up there are frinedly enough.....hopfully. Zero kept walking and began to walk fast paced hoping to see if this bieng he heard with another would help him. He started to approach the two voices he heard as he kept going up the mountain.
He finally came to see that Ace had been standing there with a flute in his mouth beginning to play a nice tune. Zero then noticed to see Ace had been with somone else, some one he had not ever seen before but Zero would be anxious to meet. He then wanted to get their attention, "Ace?" He said questioningly. Hope fully he got both their attentions as he now began to starve for his training up at the peak of Dragonmount.
