Title: Captured?
Description: *points up* the title says it all...
An'ya - September 30, 2004 08:46 PM (GMT)
An'ya was walking through the forest, with a stick in her hand so that she could sort of see where she was going. On her right, she could hear a few voices but just ignored them, until one of the voices shouted at her. "Girl! What are you doing here?! Do you know the password?!" the voice shouted angrily.
An'ya spun around, confused, in the direction the voice came from. She tapped the ground with her stick, making sure he wasn't too close to her, then spoke. I don't believe I know what you are talking about, Sir...
Her voice was cut off by the man's shouting again. Only this time, he wasn't speaking to her, apparently he was speaking to the others that were with him. An'ya looked around confused, swinging her stick in front of her. She turned in one direction and started to walk off, but the people around her ran behind her and grabbed both her ams. She struggled, trying to run off, but they drug her by the arms off to a place she had never been.
The sounds were of more people and she could faintly hear fire crackling in the background. The coldness of the air suggested that it was a little after dusk, but An'ya could never really tell unless someone told her. The men that dragged her sat her down on the ground in front of a fire. When she tried to get up and walk off, they sat her down again and bound her hands and feet.
What the hell are they going to do with me? she asked herself. All An'ya could do was sit and hope that she would be able to go home.
Seele - September 30, 2004 09:05 PM (GMT)
Seele was in the bandits camp for an infomant he had here. The bandits knew of Seele, and they did not require anything of hium; those who had now rotted beneath the ground. Now, they left him alone. He was in a tent, slowly writing out a scroll, when he heard a disturbance from outside. He stood and walked out of the tent, cloak flapping around him. The two gaursds the bandits insisted on keeping on either side of him shrank back. Seele smirked. "Idiots." He walked off, ignoring their mutterings, towards the sounds.
It was near the fire that the commotion was. A group of the bandits had captured a girl, who was bound at the hands and feet, and laying on the ground, her clothes dirty from where they had drug her on the ground. Something about her eyes shocked Seele; they were blank almost. He suddenly understood and walked over to a group fo bandits. "WHat do you plan on doing with her?"
The bandits all shrank away from Seele, except for two. One was his informant, the other the second-in-command. Both knew Seele would not harm them, as long as he found them of use. The second smiled. "She's a tough one, but she walked straight to us. We might just have... fun with her."
"No." Seele turned and walekd towards the girl, an unsheathed knife in his hand. "You will not." The second started to speak but stopped, and shook his head. "Your funeral elf-boy." Seele ignored him and began to cut at the girls binds with the dagger.
"I can take the consequences." The bandits around the fire growled. Seele freed all fo the girl's bonds and held out a hand to her. "Lady, I will help you up if you need it. My hand is about a foot above your own left hand."
An'ya - September 30, 2004 09:59 PM (GMT)
An'ya listened to the commotion in confusion. She turned her head in the direction of the new voice. The new voice sounded kinder toward her than the rest. Something about his voice seemed different from the rest. Apparently he was someone to be respected by the rest because of the fact that she felt the presence of the other bandits shrink away.
An'ya jumped slightly as she felt the cold of a knife barely touch her skin as it cut through the ropes that bound her. She rubbed her ankles and wrists where the ropes had been and then looked back up in the direction of the kinder sounding voice. Slowly, she withdrew her left hand and pawed towards his hand. She finally found it and clasped his hand between her own.
T-thank you... she stammered. An'ya stood up and instinctivly straightened out her skirt. She noticed the dust and dirt on her clothing and quickly tried to brush it all away. An'ya looked back at where the voice had come from not too long ago and looked at him before asking. May I know your name? I... I'm... An'ya... She bowed her head somewhat sheepishly.
Seele - October 1, 2004 02:58 AM (GMT)
Seele smiled. "My name is Seele, Lady Am'ya. I am a scholar and a mage, who happens to frequent this camp." He met her blank eyes and knew that she was undoubtedly blind. He laid a hand gently on her arm so she knew where he was. "If you would take my arm, Lady Am'ya, I shall lead you away from this trouble you find yourself in. A young maiden such as ourself should not be in such a situation."
The second looked at Seele. "We cannot let her leave, Master Seele. Although we respect you, she knows where our cmap is. She has to die."
"She is blind, you fool." Seele's voice was sharp. "You are skileld enought o capture a blind girl. Go you." the second's eyes widened, and Seele led An'ya away from the group towards the outskirts of camp. "Now let us leave here. My business is done."
Rikou - October 1, 2004 11:28 AM (GMT)
An'ya wrapped her arms around his and allowed him to take her to a safer place. Why did you help me? she asked curiously.

Seele - October 1, 2004 08:27 PM (GMT)
(S'ok. I did that a lot for a little while... So I understand.)
"Because, you did not know what danger you are in. This is a camp of bandits and cutthroats, An'ya." Seele smiled, though he knew she could not see it. "I am the onyl scholar here. And I once respected a lady a great deal who was blind, although I will never see her again." His face was expressionless, but a small hint of sadness was in his voice as he said this. "And besides, you would not like your stay here. It would not be likable at all. These are rough men." He heard a shout behind him and turned, letting go of An'ya's arm and whispering "Stay still!"
A huge man clomped up to Seele. His right arm was completely silver, and as Seele knew, magic-resistant, replacing an arm he had lost earlier in life. He wore no shirt, muscles standing out, with baggy pants and sturdy boots. In his silver right hand he held a huge ax; in his left a shield. He was Araku Silver-Arm, current leader of the bandit camp in Norwood forest. His voice boomed out. "Seele. She cannot leave. You know that whahtever... treasures we find are ours. You have no right to interfere." The man's axe came off the ground and back down, causing a low thump. "Step away from her."
Seele stepped back, pushing An'ya back with him. Behind the leader stood the second in command, his steel sword drawn. Behing them many of the camp's bandits had hands on or near their weapons. "No, Araku." His calm voice enraged the huge man even more, who lept forward, snarling. For a man of such size, he moved fast, the axe screaming towards Seele's head.
The elf grabbed An'ya and picked her up in both arms, leaping back. The axe-head hit the ground with a boom, cracking the earth. Seele grimaced; he could nto fight and protect An;ya at the same time. "We must fly, lasy An'ya. hold on." He darted away, a few arrows chasing after them. Behind him, a roar showed Araku and hsi men were in pursuit.
An'ya - October 1, 2004 08:59 PM (GMT)
An'ya felt pity for Seele when she sensed the saddness in his voice while he spoke about the blind woman he respected. I can take care of myself thou- Her voice was cut off by the loud booming voice of another. An'ya clung to Seele in fear. She whispered to him after hearing what the booming voice had to say. What does he mean by...treasure?
She listened to the sounds around them, picking out the subtle thump of the axe as it was lifted from it's resting spot then brought back down the earth once again. An'ya stummbled as Seele pushed her back to follow him. She let out a slight gasp, reaching for him, momentarily loosing grip on his arm. She shivered slightly, hearing the rage-filled snarl the man made before she heard him moving towards them at an alarmingly quick speed.
An'ya was suprised as she heard the sound of the axe as it sliced through the air towards them before Seele took her into his arms then moved backwards. She turned her head, trying to listen and get a better understand of what was going on around them. She froze as she heardt Seele say something about flying. Fly... You mean, us? In the air? An'ya held onto him tighter.
Seele - October 5, 2004 02:00 AM (GMT)
Seele chuckled as he twirled in kidleap, dodging an arrow that would of pierced his back. "No, Lady An'ya. I mean only we must get out of here with all due haste." He dodged another arrow, and then they were out of the camp. He jumped up into the branches of the first tree easily and crouched down. "As for the treasure... it is better you don't know." He frowned as the bandits ran into the clearing under them and began to shout, then to spread out, each with a torch. This was madness. Why did he get himself in such situations? He fel the old, cold anger bubble up, the rage that would make him kill everyone and everything around him.
Dull silver eyes meeting his own, blind eyes seeing what normal ones could not, a seer forever walking in the dark, with no guide
The memory broke Seele out of his trance and he lost the bloodlust that had threatened to overcome him. He whispered in An'ya's ear. "My lady, we cannot stay here. We are in danger. Please, stay near me." still holdiong her, he dropped down into the shadows of the forest. He cast a spell on them, a CLoak of Darkness, so that they were both enveloped by pure shadow. He felt a shiver of joy as the cold shadows rolled up his body to cover him completely, making him invisible in the darkness. He kept a firm, yet soft, grip on An'ya's arm, and said, "Let us go, m'Lady."
