Title: Magister's Lounge
Description: Magister's only.

Master Ace - September 21, 2004 06:41 PM (GMT)
After much delay, Master Ace finally finised his work in redoing the Magister's Lounge. He knew meru already and figured she would like see water, so he added several aquairums along the walls. Inside of the tanks were beauiful and colorful fish. He had managed to pick up a little info on Darrius. from what Ace had found out Darrius was a wizard who like t study the dark arts. Master Ace found the shades he had used whe Raku was magister and placed them over the windows so little light came through them. Ace lit the candles along the walls and on the chandelier that hung above the round table. Ace waited in one of the three chairs of the table. Master Ace's table faced the door so he would be fully aware of their entrances. He wondered how long he would have to wait before they came.

Darrius - September 21, 2004 09:10 PM (GMT)
Darrius strode into the redone lounge. He had long awaited the finished product of Master Ace's hard work. As the door opened at his touch, he saw the shades and the candles. Nice touch. Darrius felt sort of, at home in the room. That made him weary. His eyes peered about, noting only one figure at a small table. He walked over and took the seat opposite of Master Ace. Darrius brushed out the dirt from his black robes and slid his hood aside, revealing a smooth complextion. Darrius reached out to shake the mans hand. "Master Ace I presume. I am Darrius. Nice to meet you.

Master Ace - September 21, 2004 10:01 PM (GMT)
"Ah, welcome Darrius I hope everything is to your liking. You are correct in your presumtion. Meru, another magister at the academy will be joing us shortly," Ace smiled as he stood up and shook Darrius' hand. "I hope she will be goining us shortly. Hopefully she got my message," Master Ace thought to himeslf. "In the mean time would you care to tell me what travels brought you to the Academy of magic?" Ace said as he sat back down. Ace guessed from the dirt on his robes that Darrius was a traveller of sorts. A wanderer prehaps.

Darrius - September 22, 2004 09:54 PM (GMT)
Darrius smiled. He often wondered how he did end up at the academy. "Everything is to my liking. Thank you for asking." He readjusted himself in the seat. " I won't drag out a long story though. I have no family. I don't remember ever having any. I grew up with the shadows. I lived and studied with the creatures of night. I have always felt at home in them. I have wandered the lands for many years, trying to piece together my history, to no avail." Darrius felt a little uncomfortable sharing such a personal topic with a near stranger. He cleared his throat and continued. "One of the few friends I have, informed me of a Dark Arts position here. That is when I decided to stop chasing fantasies and make some roots, and that's what I have done. That pretty much brings you up to speed with out hours of boring detail." He smiled awkwardly. Darrius stood and walked over to the window. Pulling up the shade, he was relieved to see it was dark, not many stars either. He took a second to regain his composure. When he did, he returned to his seat. “Well, you know a little about me, but I am still in the dark about you.”

Master Ace - September 22, 2004 10:22 PM (GMT)
"I thought you were one who liked the dark," Master Ace smiled. Ace's smiled faded as he conceded to telling about himself. His voice was far more morbid and sorrowful. "I had a family, but I have lost it over the years. My mother vanished at age 8, My father at 10," Master Ace explained. His voice and smile slowly returned as he moved away from the subject of his lost family. Master Ace continued, "I can to the academy to improve my magic and work with my immpressive magical talents. In my first class, I immpressed the staff so much that I was asked to be a magister. I took the job. Later on I became the archmage training master and was put in charge of most of the Academy."
