Title: Lazy morn

Perrin Aybara - September 16, 2004 10:59 PM (GMT)
The figure of a bear was sat by the river, both the river and the bear seemingly as lazy as eachother, Perrin swaying lightly his head lowered in a soft slumber the druid finally found a need for rest and had been getting it all night,

slowly Perrins head peaked up and looked around with Perrins eyes still closed he saw nothing reaching up and rubbing his eyes softly Perrin was still tired and saw little,

being his sometime lazy self and much like a bear Perrin didn't wish to rise falling back softly Perrins large body made a thump as it hit the sand sending a few soft swirls of sand flying Perrin let out a loud yawn for some reason Perrin was oblivious to all the was around him and at the present wouldn't notice anything that was happening around him, Another long yawn errupted from Perrins mouth sounding more like a bears then a mans yawn.

Ranewen - September 16, 2004 11:23 PM (GMT)
Ranewen heard a loud thump, followed by a loud yawn. Her head turned to her left and there was a man sitting there. From the back, he looked like something different. She rose an eyebrow and slowly made her way towards him.

Keeping a safe distance, she circled around him to the other side and looked at him questioningly. She had left almost all of her familiars back in Talas, since it was more convenient that way. Sitting upon her shoulders were two pseudodragons. One a hatchling, and one was full-grown, given to her by Athiyk.

She crossed her arms and looked at him, cocking her head to one side. "Hello...?" she asked, wondering if he was even a live. It seemed that he was oblivios to what was going on around him, which made her smirk. But she stood her ground and just watched him carefully ,wodnering what he was doing and who he was. Also, what he was.

Perrin Aybara - September 16, 2004 11:46 PM (GMT)
Perrin at first didn't see, hear or notice the females appraoch he continued laying on the sand enjoying the warmth that the morning sun was providing the sand was also warm as Perrins back rested against it,

but slowly the warmth began to fade, as though something was blocking it Perrin's eyes opened slowly to see the outline of a figure tilting his head slowly perrin once again rubbed his eyes with the back of his bear claw gloves and then for the first time recieved his first glimse of the newcomer "hello?"

Perrin asked slowly a strong hint of questioning in his voice, he had not previously heard the females greeting and so assumed she had simply been there watching him

Perrins gaze drifted over the two hatchlings on the females shoulder and Perrin assumed that this was someone powerful perhaps in magic, slowly Perrin stood up his gaze no longer looking up at Ranewen yet down at her in a kind manner his full size coming into view. as he did so.

Ranewen - September 16, 2004 11:55 PM (GMT)
She looked up. Being only 5'5 had its disadvantages at some points. "Okay, well, I thought you were injured or hurt or something... Didn't know you were just lying there. Sorry, if I disturbed you," she liked, even though she really wasn't sorry at all. He must not have heard her greeting first.

She shrugged her shoulders and a little pixie scrambled out of her bag and fluttered up in the air as she felt the bag rise and drop suddenly. She looked up at the stranger and fluttered up so that she was at eye level with him. She was going to make sure he had no intent of hurting Ranewen. That was how loyal she was. Sometimes, it made Ranewen angry that her familiars thought that she couldn't handle someone on her own.

Sighing, she shooed the pixie away and Abyss - the pixie. She landed on the unnamed, female pseudo-dragon and still eyed the stranger curously. She wondered woh he was, though she did not speak her mind. The pseudo-dragons chirped at him , the female's more mature and closer to a dragons roar than that of the hatchling's.

Perrin Aybara - September 17, 2004 12:04 AM (GMT)
Perrin's eyebrow's rose although hidden by the bear head that sat on his head, his Golden eyes widening in slight surprise as the pixie flew up to his eye level tilting his head at the Pixie before it flew back away Perrin's questioning gaze went back to the woman breifly scanning the hatchlings as they chirped to him,

"dragons Pixie's.... excatly who are you?" Perrin asked in his usual drawl some what unsure of the newcomer, perhaps she was friendly... although her apology hardly sounded authentic, nor did she sound evil.

Perrin decided to wait around awhile his gaze lifting from the woman to survey the surrounding area, he was shocked that she snuck up on him andn ot wanting any other surprises Perrin thought it best to keep a faint look out at least.

Ranewen - September 17, 2004 12:19 AM (GMT)
She smirked as he asked the question. "A mage... A necromancer, sort of, if you will. A shadowdancer. A performer." She nodded her head and smirked once more as his gaze left her to look around the surrounding lands. She looked around as well, and in a moment, her gaze returned back to him.

"Who and what exactly are you?" she demanded to know and rested her arms on the hilts of both of her swords, letting him know that she didn't only jsut know how to use magic. She wasn't about to strike him, nor was she about to let him have the option to strike her while she wasn't paying attention.

Her pixie flew around once again, but this time, she went to the water and took a sip as she landed on the water. Ahead, a shadow passed by. "About time..." she muttered as the shadowdragon landed a couple yards behind Ranewen, causing a sound cloud to appear around him. he slowly walked up and let his head lowed and become level with Ranewen's shoulder. He then raised his head and looked down at this large man, wondering what in the world he was.

Perrin Aybara - September 17, 2004 12:29 AM (GMT)
Perrin listened to the list of what the woman did and Perrin nodded slowly taking a small step back as the womans hands rested on her sword hilts perhaps the notion of moving back would be enough to show her he was not out to harm her,

Perrin raised an eyebrow at the womans abrutness and sighed slowly "Me?..." Perrin asked quietly and nodded "I am Perrin Aybara... I am a druid of the claw, a protector of Nature..." Perrin spoke slowly and paused for a moment deciding whether it wise to voice the only thing he knew about the woman infron of him,

eventually shrugging Perrin began to speak again "I here the dead are heartless, compasionless, is this true?" Perrin asked slowly rudeness in his voice along with a hint of knowingness,

Perrin was taken aback by the arrival of yet another dragon his eyes wide in slight disbelief, perhaps he was still asleep... Perrin recalled what he last said and for some reason wished he hadn't said it

Ranewen - September 17, 2004 12:38 AM (GMT)
Ranewen wasn't offended. "I'm not dead if you're wondering. I'm neither dead, nor living. I'm just somebody trapped in another person's body. You wouldn't believe a think I said." She grunted and then leaned back on the dragons's shoulder.

Renor blinked his eyes and stared long and hard at the man who had tried offending Ranewen it seemed. The shadow dragon shifted his wait, though Ranewen didn't fall onto the warm sands. She just kept on staring at the man in front of her, not afraid of him. She never really was. She couldn't be killed. Nor, could she be revived.

"What is someone like you doing out here anyways/ It's a little hot, don't you think, for a coat of a bear? And did you say you were a druid? I am very good friends with the God of Nature. Actually, I am to be accepted into the Order of the High Druids soon enough. And he is my training master in two of my classes." She then fell silent. Her crow cawed as he came into hearing range, and suddenly, he landed on the ground by her foot. She smirked and nudged the bird lightly. "Hello, Xavier... What're you doing here?" she asked, ubt only got a caws in return.

Perrin Aybara - September 17, 2004 12:53 AM (GMT)
Perrin listened to what she said first and frowned "But to be placed into anothers body... wouldn't you first need to be dead?" Perrin asked slowly his golden eyes seemed interested in the person standing before him.

Perrin glanced levelly at the shadow dragon unafraid of it, Perrin then diverted his gaze to the woman again only to recieve another stare. staring back blankly at her,

"I was simply resting after 3 hard days of travel" Perrin spoke in response to her first question, nodding silently as she asked again whether Perrin was a druid,

Perrins gaze lifted once again unsure of what to make of the woman... necromancer.. druid... a confusing mix "I have not actually met the new god of nature yet.. so he is a male?... interesting" Perrin spoke quietly the last part meant more or less for himself

looking up again Perrin smiled "Myself.. I am alittle out of practice.. hibernating for 200 years will do that to you." Perrin spoke alittle more freely, if the god of Nature is friends with this woman then she must not be to much to worry about "might I ask your name then?" Perrin asked as an afterthought a name to place with her face could prove useful later on.

Ranewen - September 17, 2004 01:02 AM (GMT)
"No, not really. Like I said, you would not understand." She shook her head and then listened to what else he had to say. She frowned. Had he thought the God of Nature was a female? She nearly laughed out loud at him.

"Yes, Oppel is a male, I'm afraid." She nodded her head and smiled. "He's a nice, kind, Elf. Now he's more rogue-ish. Still loves to see me for some reason, though." She shrugged her shoulders as if it didn't matter. Then, he has asked of her name.

Should I give it to him? she asked herself. She decided not to give her last name, only her first. "Ranewen," she said simply and then let her mouth fall into a straight line once again. She watched him blankly, her expression matching her eyes. Her red eyes seemed to hold no hate. Neutral, they were, and this man was very lucky.

Perrin Aybara - September 17, 2004 08:06 PM (GMT)
Perrin nodded deciding not to push the query about her nature of being smiling slightly as she next spoke the smile turning into a small chuckle,

thoughts briefly went through Perrins head until he yawned again the yawn was louder up close and Perrin slowly shook his head afterwards "Ranewen.." Perrin tested softly as he once again became seated crossing his legs in the sand causing another soft swirl of sand as he sat,

"you remind me alot of a vampire.." Perrin spoke softly looking at the sand as he used a claw to trace random symbols into it before the slight breeze would blow the symbols away.

Ranewen - September 17, 2004 08:30 PM (GMT)
She stayed standing and now looked down on him. She nodded her head, taking it as a compliment. "I am much like a night creature. Friends with many." She crossed her arms and wondered what he was doing, drawing symbols.

She watched as the sand filled the symbols one after another, and she had to bite her lip to keep from laughing. He must have gotten frustrated. She just shifted her wait from one leg to another until she finally climbs up on Renor's back and leaned on his neck.

She took out a canteen of water and took a sip of it, before screwing the cap back on it and placed it back in her bag, where she hoped the sun wouldn't turn it too warm. She looked over towards the river in the oasis that they were at in the middle of the Tethys desert. "So, you're not human? If you've lives for more than two hundred years..." her voice trailed off as she continued.

Perrin Aybara - September 17, 2004 08:59 PM (GMT)
Perrin heard what Ranewen said and nodded slowly thinking about his previous experiances with creatures of the night and smiled softly, another yawn escaped Perrins lips as he drew one last symbol in the sand this time how ever the symbol was not refilled with sand.. it seemed to stay there and Perrin nodded

Perrin glanced up as she labbelled him not human and Perrin nodded "I am a woodelf originally.. but, a special bond with nature causes myself to live for an extrememly long time... I believe it will be mt 2000th year soon.." Perrin spoke calmly unsure if Ranewen would believe him

Ranewen - September 17, 2004 11:20 PM (GMT)
She cast an awkwards glance at him, wondering why he hadn't met the God of Nature, Oppel, and yet he had bonded with Nature and lived this long. "I see..." was all she said, hjer icy words striking the silence that had fallen between the two for what seemed to be an eternity.

She shrugged her shoulders and stroked the side of Renor boredly, sighing lightly. She was a bit on the bored side, since he was lazy, it seemed. He doesn't have good stealth, I bet. I can tell from the way the sand goes up when he comes down, she said to Renor with slight amusement. The dragon nodded in agreement for once. Agreed... was all he said backt to her, silently.

((We'll wait for Sephiroth now. ^^))
