Title: Dreadful Mist
Oppel - October 14, 2003 12:01 PM (GMT)
Oppel had once read a wole book upon the Lake of Darkness, but didn't think it would actually be real! Once het got close to the dark lake he could hear the soft waves hitting the shore. It actualy sounded quite nice, it was just the appearance that scared him. He cautiously walked around the lake and would usually trip over a brach or small tree and he could not see the his feet in the very heavy mist. He must of already had several music by the time he whacked the ground, hard. He arm hit a nearby rock and cut his arm. Blood stained the rock and Oppel tried to stop the bleeding by applying pressure to the wound from a nearby leaf. As he was holding the leaf to his cut he was muttering in pain. All of a sudden Oppel heard something in the distance. Someone or something was walking towards him. The noises were to close to him and he didn't have a chance to hide or he would of surely been seen. All he could do was wait and see who the visitor was...
Athiyk - October 14, 2003 10:05 PM (GMT)
Athiyk stumbled more than she would have liked, but the mists made it difficult to see and before she knew it she was lost and stumbling along the Misted Hills. She did not ride, for the ground too unpredictable for Elemiire's hooves.
When she found herself at the edge of the lake, she cursed.
"Xsa!"
Oppel - October 14, 2003 10:39 PM (GMT)
Oppel had heard the strange words come from somewhere ahead of him. He did not understand what the meant but it still scared him as it was unexpected. He ducked down and hid behind a tree as he did not trust the tone of voice that came from the person ahead. He waited several minutes as if expecting to see a traveller stroll by, but no one came.
Athiyk - October 15, 2003 01:55 AM (GMT)
Athiyk walked closer to the waters edge, thinking hard. She guessed this must have been the Lake of Darkness, as she had recognized the hills. She had visited the hills before and even the Castle of Death, but never the lake. There were rumors that a creature lurked beneath its calm, misty surface.
"Al, Usstan usieva udos ph' truly noamuth (I guess we truly are lost)," she said to Elemiire, who had been following Athiyk's trek obediently.
Oppel - October 15, 2003 02:07 AM (GMT)
Oppel grew tired of waiting and decided to move along the path, not on the ground, but through the trees once again. He scaled the nearest tree and began to travel between trees slowly, as to prevent falling.
Vines - January 28, 2004 07:34 PM (GMT)
Vines seemed to be walking for some time and now he did not know where he was. As Vines walk a fog seem to surround Vines until the fog got so thick Vines had a hard time seeing his feet. Vines was able to see in front of him self ok as the fog get seem to get a little lighter as the fog reached his face. As Vines walked he found a lake. “A lake in the middle of all this fog?” taking to him self. Looking around Vines didn’t see any one…due to the fog blocking most of his vision. Vines had walk for a long time and at this point just wanted to rest and maybe have some fun and what better place to kick back and have fun than a lake in the middle of no-where in the center of this fog. Vines took off his clothes and jump in to the lake. Thinking to him self –Man this feels good…this lake is really clean like a tub before a bath that’s odd.....and the water seem to be dark…the water must be really deep./[I]- Vines was compelled to find out how far the lake went down. Thinking to him self –[I] Matter of fact I’m going to see how far down this lake goes.-
