Jhael hadn't been seen much the past few weeks. He had been keeping out of sight and out of mind, watching over one of the two beings he would die for. He entered the temple through shadows, phasing into the heart of the temple itself, looking for his sister. They did not speak often, but Jhael had realized it had been too long and she would be most likely angry with him...
In his arms was a small bundle. Faeryl was tired, the infant still only several weeks old, spent more of her time sleeping than anything. She had barely stirred when Jhael lifted her from her cradle to come and meet her aunt.
He looked at her with affectionate, but almost inquisitive eyes. As a male in the Underdark, he had little to do with infants and even after several weeks to get to know his daughter, she was still a curious thing.
Jhael did not call Veronna's name because he knew that she would sense his presence and would risk awakening Fae. Instead he waited, sitting on the steps to the alter where his sister's symbol hung, keeping wary eyes on whoever else wandered into the hall.
quiet in the temple, but she felt someone enter, well it felt more like two people, and she could feel one was her brother. She sighed and sat her sword up against the wall, she then started to go where she felt Jhaels presence.
She wasn't in the mood to sneak around the temple so she just walked in the main hall way. She rounded a corner and saw Jhael sitting on the steps of her alter. "Vendui Jhael" she said looking at him, and then her eyes fell upon the bundle in his arms. "Lu' vel'uss xun udos inbal ghil?" she asked walking closer and looking at the bundle, a smile on her face. She knew Athiyk was due, but she didn't relize she had already had the child.
