Title: Majestic

Iinaa - September 6, 2004 10:55 PM (GMT)
Horses are too wonderful, noble, and majestic to allow us to ride them. That is why Iinaa never rode Uruite-sul. He was her protector. She had only ridden him on one occasion, and that was to escape from horrible danger. Uruite-sul did not seem to mind her riding him, but she did not like to ruin the horse's pride by riding him and controllng him.

She slowly moved to the next stall grooming the horse in that stall. It was a beautiful black stallion, it's head was held high and it looked at her with a commanding air. Iinaa bowed her head slightly to show the horse she meant no harm, and would not ride him. Yet. There was an irresistable urge that told her to ride him. He was so beautiful, so wonderful, if this horse were only hers... Uruite-sul nipped her on the shoulder, stretching his head over the stall door. It was sometimes as if he could read her mind.

"Do not worry, I will not sell you. I will just buy another horse when I get enough money." She told him.

She returned to grooming the black stallion. She used the curry comb and brushed the horse until it shone. She began to stroke it's muzzle, it was soft and felt wonderful underneath her fingers. The stallion did not move but watched her.

She finished grooming the horse and walked outside of his stable. She turned to look at it one last time, and when she did, she noticed a sign, and began to read:

"Wild Horse, do NOT enter"

Iinaa almost fainted from shock. She stared at the horse that was inside the stall. It had not even tried to kick her, why was that? She had stroked it's muzzle, yet it made no objection to it. But they put up a sign that said not to enter. She decided to ask the manager about the horse.

The faerie girl watched from her window. She saw the new stable hand and was pondering if she should help her groom the horses. She seemed to be doing a pretty good job of it herself. Lilith thought it was strange that the girl was able to approach the wild horse. Lilith had to use her skill handle animal upon the horse just to groom it, but it seemed as if the stranger had not used any skills nor magic on the beast.

The girl got dressed and headed downstairs. Tendrils of her golden hair framed her pleasantly pale face. Her blue eyes shone with excitement. She was happy to meet the new stable girl. Placing her hood atop her hair, she strolled out into the breezy day. It was starting to get chilly around the stables. She walked right up to the girl and put her hand out. "Hello child. I am Lilith, the horse master. It is quite amazing how you handled the black horse. He is a wild one." She smiled brightly and brushed her hair out of her face with the hand that wasn't stuck out in greeting.

As Iinaa stared at the sign she heard footsteps approaching. She turned around to see a beautiful faerie walking towards her.

"Hello." Iinaa said, and then blushing, "Thank you." She said.

She stared at the black horse who had gotten a wild frenzied look when Lilith had approached. She began to reach towards the horse, intending to caress it. But it wouldn't have it. It stepped back afraid of the approaching faerie, but strangely fierce towards her. He just did not like to be touched, Iinaa supposed.

"I am Iinaa." Iinaa said smiling at Lilith, trying to ignore the beautiful stallion and walk away from him. She went to a stall on the opposite side of the stables.

"I don't know why he likes me so much." Iinaa said, her beautiful face creasing into a frown.
