Astra - September 4, 2004 09:20 PM (GMT)
Thud, thud, thud, thud. The dull sound of Astra’s throwing daggers echoed throughout the large indoor arena. Astra had been up at dawn, or what she thought to be dawn, considering it was hard to tell because the mass of swirling grey clouds still dominated the sky.

Astra walked slowly over to the target she had been using, scrutinizing her four tosses. Two of her daggers were wedge directly into the small black dot in the centre of the target, the third was an inch away from the black spot. Looking up with bright lavender eyes she grimaced as she studied her fourth dagger that had barely made it onto the edge.

She pushed a lock of her silver hair behind her ear, and then began to retrieve her daggers, sheathing them once again in their covers that were strapped to her leg. Astra was wearing dark violet, wide-legged pants and a matching sleeveless top that was held up by a ring of silver that was clipped around her neck. At the bottom hem of the pant leg there were silver embroidered leaves and the same embroidery was present at the bottom hem of the shirt. She thought that this would be best to train in, because there would be no hindrance in her arm motion.

After she was sure she was at least fifteen paces from the target, she began tossing her daggers again. Thud, thud…..

Zandalor - September 6, 2004 08:20 PM (GMT)
Zandalor was creeping past the entrance to the indoor arena, he had been up most of the night exploring around the Academy. He yawned widely and then suddenly heard one of Astra's daggers hit the target.

Zandalor jumped at the noise the dagger caused on impact with the target, the reason being that he had heard nothing since he got up earlier except for owls and other nocturnal creatures when the sky was dark.

He watched Astra from the Indoor Arena entrance as she hit the target with dagger after dagger. He did not care to chat at this moment as he was tired - his eyes had light black rings around them, but he decided to walk up to this silver-haired woman and speak for a while. Zandalor approached her, "Hello. May I ask why are you are up so early this dull morning?"

(OOC: Sorry if this is not up to your level as this is my first time 'Play-by-Post' Roleplaying. Please tell me if so. Thanks)
