Title: Meditating
Description: ~~All are welcome~~

After wandering countless days around the land of Imythess, he had finally found a forest fitting enough for him to maybe call home. He wandered around the forest aimlessly, for he knew not his way. He sighed softly "This will have to do for now...I need to rest" He wandered farther into the forest.
Then he came upon a lone tree stump surrounded by bushes and other types of foliage. He nodded and climbed atop the stump and sat in a lotus position. His eyes slowly closed, and his mind drifted to many things--his past, his present, and even thoughts of his future. His meditation allowed him to rest, but keep ever vigilant, for Bryonn never liked to be caught unaware.

Lamya ran into the woods. She was being chased by the woman whom she had just robbed. "Get back here you thief!" Lamya smiled under her cloack and dissapeared into the darkness of the woods. "Ignorant woman", She muttered. She was exhausted from a hard days work. She rested beside a tree. She got out the bread she had just stolen and nibbled on it. "Hmm I've stolen better..." She heard a noise and her ears perked up. *Oooo more victims." She giggled to herself and crept further into the woods. She saw a man with his eyes closed. *What a stupid man! He will be way to easy to steal from.* She smiled widely and slowly approached the man.

As he subconciously wandered his mind, his conciousness took in all that was around him. He felt the cold trunk under him hear the rustling of the damp grass, and picked up the scent of a woman nearing him. He knew not of her intentions, but he figured it was someone to talk to, so he opened his eyes and looked around. He then saw the one who he was looking for. He tilted his head sideways, still sitting in the lotus position. "Hi, who may you be?"
Lamya - August 28, 2004 04:12 AM (GMT)
Lamya jumped. -Calm yourself Lamya or you won't be getting any gold today.- She smiled pleasantly and pushed her hood down. "Hello. My name is Lamya. May I inquire as to what you are doing?" While talking she glanced around at the man's things. He didn't seem to have very much. She tried to not let her dissapointment show. She was really good at this disguse thing.
Bryonn Insevetyu - August 28, 2004 04:52 AM (GMT)
He looked at her with a smile as she introduced herself. "Hello Lamya, my name's Bryonn. Its a pleasure to meet you." He got out of his meditating position and let his legs dangle from the trunk. He placed his hands on his thighs. "Me? I'm just meditating. I've had a rough few days and I needed to release all my tension--and meditating is how I do it. May I ask what brings you here?"
Lamya - August 28, 2004 05:14 AM (GMT)
Lamya quickly tried to think of something. "Well I like to travel through forests. I am currently looking for a place and I really hate to sleep alone. You know just in case a wild animal happens to tear me to shreds." She smiled warmly. -If he asks me to stay, it will be very easy to take his gold. He better have alot or I might decide to leave him with an unpleasant marking across his chest.-

Not seeing her as much a threat, he figured that she could join him tonight. He returned her smile with one of his own. He held out his hand "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance(sp?). And don't worry, if a wild animal manages to rip you to shreds, I'll either be a witness or a side dish. But don't worry, I doubt there'll be any wild animals attacking--this place seems like one of the nicer forests I've seen since my travels." She seems harmless enough...I'll look out for her "May I ask what would've happened if I wasn't here and you had to sleep by yourself?"
Lamya - August 29, 2004 12:08 AM (GMT)
Lamya smiled at her clever plan. "Oh well I guess I would have had to find an Inn or Tavern to sleep in." She smiled pitifully. "Yea these woods are pretty nice. Just ya never know when a wild animal or person for that matter will attack. Always good to have company to fight either off." -Tonight I will wait for him to fall asleep. Then I will rob him blind!- She wanted to cackle out loud, but she settled for staring at her feet and shifting uncomfortably. "I am really glad I found you out here." She tried on an innocent look. -Hmm this seems to be working for me. I shall try this gig out again when I recieve the opportunity.-

As she talked he felt good that he was of some use, although the whole sleeping bit was never his thing. He stood up, now leaning on the trunk and cracked a smile. "You can sleep if you want to...I'm alright. I'm not much of a sleeper. I usually sleep at most twice a month...and I've already filled my quota for this month. The only other time I'll sleep is voluntarily--ya know those rare occasiions where you just lay in a nice bed and think, "Hey, what a nice bed to sleep on," and there ya go, already snoozing 'till day break.
"While you sleep, I'll just perch up here on this trunk and meditate lighter than usual, seeing as I have such a pretty woman like yourself relying on me to keep her safe." He made a fist in his left hand and tapped the right side of his chest with his fist twice. "Don't worry Lamya, I'll keep you outta harm's way"
Lamya - August 29, 2004 12:44 AM (GMT)
Lamya's face flushed with anger. She hoped the man would see it as her blushing at his comment. "Why thank you so much. You are very kind." She reached into her cloak and put her hand on her sword. -If worse comes to worse, I'll just kill the man.- Lamya wasn't sure if she could actually kill someone. She was used to stealing and possibly harming the person if they did not comply, but she had never killed anyone. This was one thing she would never reveal. She took her cloak off and revealed the pants and blouse she was wearing underneath. She wasn't much of a dress type of girl considering it could slow one down. She placed it on the ground and plopped next to it. "So what do you have to eat around here." -As long as I have to put on a happy face and communicate with this naive creature, I should at least get some food.- She smirked into the shadows of the woods so he wouldn't see. Her blue lips forming into what could be mistaken as a smile if one didn't know her well.

As he saw her blush, he laughed softly and nodded. "Yourwelcome. And that wasn't kindness, I was merely speaking the truth." He looked her up and down as she removed her cloak heh, guess I was right on the money. he thought. His eyes then fell upon the sword she carried and he raised an eyebrow. He dismissed it though for she seemed harmless....but there was something about her that gave him an eerie feeling. He shrugged it off and continued talking to her. "If you had came buy several hours ago, I would've been able to offer you roasted boar and a side of berries. I'm sorry but I have no food to offer you. But when you wake up, there'll be breakfast ready...and I can guarantee you eggs and maybe some deer." The thought of breakfast made him lick his lips. "So tell me Lamya, where do you hail from?"
Lamya - August 29, 2004 01:27 AM (GMT)
Lamya tried to think of a reply. -Should I be honest and tell him the lands of war between families and death between elders? No I shall not hint to where I'm from. What if he came from the same?- She appeared to be confused for a few seconds. Then she came up with a reply. "I come from a land far, far away from Imythess. It's across the seven seas and the land of mystic tribes. It is called Cerlia. It twas an Island so I am sure you have not heard of it." She prayed he didn't know what she was talking about. She had heard of the land of Cerlia a long time ago from some drunken sailor at a tavern. She had of course taken all his money after that. She believed she deserved it after listening to his boring ramblings. "And where do you come from?"
Bryonn Insevetyu - August 29, 2004 02:26 AM (GMT)
"Did you say Cerlia...Cerlia de Blúe? I come from Cerlia...actually I used to inhabit the forest in that area...up untill it was burned down by pillaging pirates." He sighed and looked down, tears beginning to well up in his eyes. "I'm sorry, that scar still has yet to heal fully..." He looked up at her with a forced smile, his eyes red and glassy from his tears. "There...all better...So Lamya...what part of Cerlia de Blúe did you live in, cause you don't look familiar"
Lamya - August 30, 2004 06:38 PM (GMT)
-Just my luck!- Lamya glanced nervously around trying to think of a convincing name. "Uh I come from" ,she looked around and spotted a hawk circling the sky, "Hawkess, Cerlia." Lamya wanted to slap herself. -Hawkess?! Could I be more ignorant?- She stared at the man waiting to see if he would catch her bluff. She put her hand on her newly aquired throwing dagger. -I really don't want to have blood upon my new clothes...-
Bryonn Insevetyu - September 3, 2004 02:34 PM (GMT)
"Hawkess, Cerlia? Hmmm...." He sat there looking at her for a minute, knowing that she was lying for in all his years on Cerlia he never remembered a Hawkess. He decided to go along with it, see how elaborately she can lie before she cracks. "How did you manage to survive such a place as Hawkess, Lamya? Hawkess is the most pirate infested, parasite harboring place in Cerlia. No elf should have to be raised there, especially one as fair as you." Now he was pulling her leg a little, wanting to see where she would go with this and why she was here in the first place, for just to sleep with someone you don't even know did seem kind of fishy in the first place. His expression was the same throughout the whole conversation-inquisitive and relaxed.
