Title: Respects

Felix7 - August 26, 2004 02:01 AM (GMT)
Felix7 walked into the Temple of Swords in Talas. His eyes flickered around, taking in anything and everything in the hall. This was an unusal display of emotion for him, to visit this place. After all, he hadn't been contracted to do so. But yet he had felt a stronge urge to visit this temple. It had called to him in ways he couldn't understand. He had been bred since birth to feel no emotion, no hesitation. And yet he found himself here...

He drew his sword in a flash to perform the Knight's Salute to a symbol of the Goddess. "Thank you, Goddess of Swords, for granting me my skill with my blade." He brought the sword down and back in his sheath. "It is unfortunate that I will not have the honor of crossing swords with yourself while here..." He turned on one heel preparing to leave the temple.

Veronna Darkblade - August 27, 2004 02:20 AM (GMT)
Veronna was in the arena when she heard someone in the temple. With a sigh she sheathed her sword and walked through a couple corridors until she heard the man leaving. She smiled to herself and she drew her dagger and jumped out and placed the dagger up to the man's throat. "Welcome," she said smiling at him, "I heard you say you wished to cross swords with me," she was still looked at him. "Most everyone who enters my temple fight against me, whether they want to or not." She told him pulling her dagger away from his throat and sheathing it.

"If you wish to fight then follow me." She said walking back towards the arena. Her mind was on other things so she was rushing a little.

Felix shrugged and followed her. Hsi next job would not not be hurt if he didn't follow through immediately. There was always time to improve, and waht better way than to duel a goddess? He walked along behind her, examining the walls. "Do you ever get bored here, forever having to fight those who come here?"
