Title: Sitting under a waterfall
Description: Asleep
Xisa - August 19, 2004 12:41 AM (GMT)
The demon rests right under the waterfall. She is half asleep, but can still see everything that is going on. She can sense all the passerbyes that go back and forth.
Aeri - August 20, 2004 08:25 PM (GMT)
Aeri had just arrived in Cascadia, her favorite city. She had always loved the beauty it created in almost any form from dance, to song, to art. She came here seeking peace from her seemingly endless battles fought in Talas against orcs and undead and to again feel joy within her, as her soul had been devoid of it since Sephiroth had come like a dark cloud within her mind, destroying innocence no matter where it lay.
Deciding to wade in the cold, sparkling waters in the nearby pool which the waterfall fell into, she removed her sandals and walked along its edge, not knowing a demon lay close by...

Xisa noticed the elf girl that seemed to enjoy herself in the water. She pondered to herself for a few minutes. "Hmmm...I guess she doesn't notice me. Maybe she is not scared of me like most people are. Maybe she'll want to play with me." Her long blue hair splashed through a waterfall as she poked her head through to see the elf in the face across the waterfall. "HEY! Wanna play?" Xisa shouted to the girl, breaking the silence of the peaceful waterfall.
Lilith - August 21, 2004 04:36 AM (GMT)
Lilith was watching the two girls from the shadows. She had planned on spending the beautiful day under the waterfall, bathing in the cool water and playing with the small creatures that wondered near. One of the girls seemed to be oblivious to the other. *That girl really should learn to be more observant.* She walked out into the bright sunshine to get a better look at the both of them. One appeared to be an elf but Lilith could not place to other. *Hmm odd..She must be unlike an race I have yet met. I hope she isn't an evil being.* Lilith approached slowly, waiting to see if she would catch their attention.

Aeri jumped as the stranger appeared from the wall of water that was constantly falling. She had let her guard down and Aeri cursed herself for that, but when the ambusher didn't seem to want a battle and even asked to play, she allowed herself a smile.
She also saw the approach of the other woman.
To the speaker she said, "Well, hullo there. I would love to play," Indeed it had been too long since Aeri had taken time to have fun and do such a thing. To the other woman, she said: "And greetings to you too."
Lilith - August 21, 2004 05:47 PM (GMT)
Sensing that neither seemed to want to fight, she walked out in full view. One of the girls greeted her and she curtsied towards her. "Hello I'm the faerie Lilith. May I inquire as to what your name is?" She walked nearer so she could have a better view of the two. She thought it was slightly odd that one of them had asked to other to play. Lilith couldn't remember the last time she had played like a child. She always loved to have fun but over the years she took more and more time keeping her guard up. She wondered if they would let her play with them.
Xisa - August 21, 2004 06:01 PM (GMT)
"Nice to meet you Ms. Fairy" Xisa then looked at Aeri. "Hi, I'm Xisa...what's your name?" Without even waiting for a reply, she jumped to a new question. "What game do you want to play? I like hide and go seek...but it's up to you"
Aeri - August 23, 2004 03:35 AM (GMT)
She nodded her greeting to the one named Lilith. "I'm Aeri Azrael."
Childs games were a large part of her life for a long time, even after she was considered a child. Often she would play with the children in the village and even now, if she found time and the mood was light, would she play.
"Hide and seek is fun," Aeri grinned. It was nice to feel like a child again. Not to have to worry about the world she now lived in and not think about the horrible things she had seen since her life as a warrior began.
Xisa - August 23, 2004 04:08 AM (GMT)
"It's nice to meet you Aeri. I'm looking forward to playing a game." Xisa splashed both of the girls with a little bit of water. "See, it's been too long since I've played around with others. My sisters are always so serious...sheesh..."
